THE RED MOON
"Darkness has finally made its way ,its on us either to engulf it within or let it go "
A man in full black suit walks in the direction of the medium sized two storey house , only a light coming from upper window of the house while the rest of house remain covered in darkness. Man tightens his hold on the two year old girl walking beside him, his other hand caring the toys and gift box . the man looks up in the sky as they slowly make there way to the house smiling.
Red moon night .
he had just yesterday heard in the news that this happens only once in fifty years where moon turns fully red as if someone drained it in blood.
papa we should surprise muma ok, so you hide the gift behind your back and when she feel sad that we didn't bring anything on her birthday than we will scream SURPRISE ok.'
his eyes feel dizzy all of sudden , breath just breath his mind screamed. removing his thoughts from the sins he had done , actions that can never be erased he looked down at his daughter and smiled , a smile that did not reach his eyes ,that was burdened by the darkness engulfing him again.

but you seem to only care about her and not me' he added knowing it will make his daughter talk a dozen like her mother , so much like her.
no papa , i care about you too' she starts to clarify in her fumbling childish voice.just what he needed distraction .
no you don't kavya . when i said lets buy all those candy and xbox , you rejected saying mother will get angry' i try to mimick her child voice.
No no papa. mama do would get angry . i should not eat so many candies it make teeth bad'
so what we don't need to do what she says always. it is ok to defy her sometimes, to make her angry , to see your mother's nose go all red in anger haa..' he chuckles as his daughter laughs and nod her head in agreement , maybe a little mischief wont hurt.
so it is decided we will remain awake past our bed time tonight watching all your favourite cartoons'
he said as they reached the door , he rang the bell a few times but not getting any answer .he tried to open the door but it was locked , so he pulled his key our and opened the door ,letting himself and his daughter inside.
papa its dark. i am scared' she remained clutched to his legs as he switched on the light.
mama!' kavya scaremed.
she must be in the kitchen , you stay here papa i will bring her here.' kavya run searching for her mother only to come disappointed.
lets go search upstairs' he said as they made their way up the stairs , they smelled fruity scents and music floating in the air in small volume. both smiled each other giving cheeky smile. they knew where her mother was , taking the bath.
they opened the bathroom door screaming surprise' aloud which got scared scream out of kavya while he remain stood like a statute , taking deep breaths . he covered kavya's eyes as he looked at his wife's lifeless body drowned in blood.
Ahhh !!!!!!!!!! Ahhh!!!!!!- A shrill sound of someone screaming breaks the uneasy silence of the night .
Victim lays in the bathtub .. lying in pool of its on blood . Like a lifeless flower plunged from a once full of life plant now lay .. bereft of any life
his eyes get more redder then before & finally losing strength in his lengs he fall down on his knees .
KHUSHI! A scream., a cry .. leaves his body ...
