"Would you pretend that you havent seen or heard me and walk away and break my little heart?," Arnav looked at the fake smile plastered on her made-up face and cringed visibly. Somethings never change, he thought to himself, as he bit on the inside of his cheek and recalled how in the past too she had always made a move to seek him out and how he had always rubbished her advances.

Arnav assessed her knowledge about the said meeting and the equation she shared with her father. Half baked knowledge about the said meeting and no clue about the motif of his presence here, Arnav's sharp mind calculated. But he refused to give her a reply on it.

"Sure Akash chose that juvenile brat as his legally wedded wife, but dont you know his taste? Do you think that child woman will be able to keep him tied to her for an entire lifetime?".

But when the time had come to act on it and stand by her and fight for her honour, he had caved in, unlike Arnav who had stood with her and by her side whenever the need had arisen, lending his strength and silent and undeterring support.
