She saw Arnav speak to that man with a finesse that she hadn't witnessed before. He was prudent and diplomatic in his conduct and she realised that there were a lot of facets about him that she wasn't aware off. Like a while back when she had been fearing an outburst from him he had only been what she hadn't expected him to be, indifferent and cold..."I..its ok, please dont beat yourself over this. Its just done and over with," he shook his head at her several times before speaking with a finality in his voice.

He was aware that he had thwarted all her attempts to speak to him about her said meet with that doctor friend of her's. He looked away immediately, careful not to give her any clue of his discomfort about the topic or to make her feel guilty because she was far from being that. It was just a run-out-of-the-mill, chanced upon instances of a bump into her ex and he had nothing to fret about. And yet, he could not wonder why there was a growing uneasiness in the deepest pit of his stomach and he knew that it had nothing to do with Khushi.

"take a wild guess, Arnav. Any clue on whose the industrialist from India, your city precisely, whose pumped up the money for Jai Kashyap?." Arnav stared at the cherubic man's face and saw his eyes shine with a knowing glint. He raked his brain for anything he could pick on from Steve's confident demeanour and his forehead creased in confusion. Arnav's eyes widened in realisation as his jaw dropped open at the flute of truth that reverberated through his being. He saw Steve's lips curl up in a grin as he opened his mouth to speak,"dont tell me? Its not who I think it is?.

Nodding his head politely at him, he turned around to look at the woman who had walked up to him and the older man and felt his informal stupor paralyse within the split second of looking into the familiar dark brown orbs and the accustomed prepossessed face, exuding the same knowing aura that told him that something wasnt right, somewhere, it was his gut instinct. Unable to stop himself he quizzed bewildered to the fine young woman in front of him, "you?,"...whatever happened to the attraction you had felt for me. Because I am sure I saw the spell simmering in your eyes, for me, or was that just a figment of my imagination?," she stated unbidden as she wiggled her eyebrows at him.

Ah, cant believe this year has come to a close and with this year ending we have now completed six months of this wonderful journey, that I had started as an experiment and I am thrilled to bits to have so many of you as a part of this story now. Coming to the story, some of the readers thought the lady in the teaser was someone from Arnav's past, Arnav's past, REALLY? I cant even begin to tell you how I felt when I read the comments, LOL. I understand it could be a case of once bitten twice shy' but the prologue says it, loud and clear, that Arnav is a SAINT. I was actually wondering if people have forgotten what story they have been reading? Anyway, so only two readers guessed it correctly that it was Lavanya and her father, there was specifically the older man' mentioned in the teaser, as well. And there are no Dos and Don't's in a marriage, its just the symphony between two people and how they perceive it to be. This chapter is all about REVELATIONS and I hope you can mildly see the dynamics of where the story is headed. But fret not, a happy ending and a non-cliche story is what you will get, anyhow.
