Khushi was totally shaken after the incident.She couldn't face her friends.

Shwetha:Dear,what happened to you?

Khushi:Nothing..

Shwetha:come.we'll have the photo session.

Khushi was too embarassed and could not concentrate as she saw Arnav staring at her from among the people standing there.She wanted to hide somewhere.

she saw Anjali coming towards the stage.They had a few snaps together.Then she heard Mr.Mehta calling Arnav.Anjali commented:He won't come uncle,he never likes to take photos.Khushi began to get down from the stage but Shwetha and her family stopped her.Anjali asked her to come and stand beside her.To her horror she saw Arnav walking towards the stage.

Anjali:Oh my God..he is coming..

Aakash:It's Vivek's function know?He'll come

There was space only near Khushi.Khushi moved very near to Anjali.He came and stood beside her.Her hands were shivering,mouth went dry.The session was over and Khushi escaped at once without looking back.

Back home,Arnav was checking the photos of Khushi he had taken without her knowing.An intense desire to see her ,to kiss her,to possess her body didn't allow him to sleep.

Khushi was also spending a sleepless night.She could feel his lips all over her face.How dare he?

The reception at bride groom's residence was the next day.Khushi decided not to go.But there was no way.Her family was also invited.So she had to go.She wore a sandal colour Lehenga with full of pearl petals with matching ornaments.

They reached Mr.Mehta's house .She was looking around with fear.The men standing in the courtyard were staring and admiring her.She went inside .Shwetha came running and hugged her.

Shwetha:My dear, you look awesome.

Khushi's eyes were looking around.

Suddenly she heard Vivek's voice in the hall:"Hello, Aakash and Arnav Bhai.

Khushi s heart began to beat fast.Guests began to come and Mehta's family

was busy in receiving them.Khushi went with her mother, uncle and aunty to the beautiful garden where the reception venue was arranged.A pair of eyes were following her.

Arnav wanted her alone.He was watching her every movement.She never looked at his side.Arnav moved to an area where lights were dim.He was watching her from there.He heard a voice behind:"She is totally ignoring you.Don't waste your time."

Arnav realised who it was and suddenly turned and found Aman.

Aman continued:You are not going to get any encouraging glance from her part.

Without taking eyes from her Arnav asked:How do you know?

Aman:Arnav, I saw you staring at this girl yesterday onwards,you are behaving like a teenage boy,like a love sick person.Forgot your position and status?I know that she is extremely beautiful,but not your type.

Arnav:Shut up.

Aman:As far as I know,She belongs to a conservative family.

While they were talking,Anjali came there.Aman was admiring her beauty.She was 2 years elder to Aman.

Anjali:Chote,why are you standing here?Why not with Mr.Mehta?

Arnav:I just wanted to be away from the crowd.

Aman:He is worried about a deal

Anjali:Deal?What deal?

Arnav glared at Aman.

Suddenly she saw Khushi sitting with her friends.She went to her side.She dragged Khushi to where Arnav and Aman were standing.

Aman said :Behave normally.

Khushi was totally embarassed and didin't even look at Arnav.

Anjali:Chote,meet Khushi,Shwetha's friend

Khushi said to herself:Devi maiyya,please help me.

Arnav stretched his hands for shake hand.Khushi slowly looked at him and saw a meaningful smile on his face.She wanted to slap him.

Anjali:Khushi,where are you?

Khushi startled and put her hands in his for a shake hand.He squeezed her hand softly.A tremor went through her and at once she took her hands back.Aman s eyes were on their hands.Anjali and Khushi left.

Aman:You're cheap.

Arnav still staring at her said:I'll do anything to get her.

Aman:Please stop staring..my god...you are mad.

Then they heard a man's voice:Khushi..dear I'm here.

Arnav and Aman turned together to see a tall good looking guy approaching Khushi.She jumped with joy and ran and hugged him.

Aman whistled.

Aman:Arnav...That's it.Open your eyes and see .That is Varun,the rising star in the industry.They look very comfortable with each other.

He looked at Arnav.He saw his friend's face which gave him the danger signal.Arnav was furious and may explode at any time.Aman immediately left the place.Khushi looked back through her shoulder,saw him staring at them.She took advantage of the situation and acted as though she slipped off her high heeled chappals and sprained her ankle and asked Varun to carry her inside.

Arnav watched with red blood eyes Varun carrying Khushi in his hands.He couldn't accept it.He left the place.

Varun was invited by Mr.Mehta for the reception.Shwetha told him about Khushi sitting in the garden.That is how he came there.Varun spent a few minutes with her and left as he had to attend an urgent meeting .He made sure that she was all right.

The function started.There was music and dance.Garima couldn't bear the sound .So she came inside the house.There were many aged ladies who were sitting inside the house and chatting. Garima also sat with them.Many of Shwetha's relatives and neighbours were walking here and there inside the house. Khushi went to washroom and was returning through the corridor.Suddenly the lights in that area went off.A hand lifted her from back.She understood who it was.Her mouth was covered with his hands.He took her to a room and closed the door.Lights were on.

She was panting and sweating.Her eyes were like fire.She shouted:How dare you devil?Who gave you the right to touch me?I'll kill you ..you monster..

He watched her silently.He asked in a dangerous tone:Who is Varun to You?

Khushi:That's none of your business.

Arnav:I want to know.I won't allow you to go until you give me an answer.

Khushi decided to tell a lie.She thought that she could easily get rid of him with that answer.

Khushi:He..he ..we are going to get married.

Arnav kept silent.He moved forward.

She was looking breath takingly beautiful.He moved towards her.She was looking sideways.He came near,very near.Khushi moved backward ,slipped her steps and fell on the bed.He had a triumphant smile and was looking at her eyes,lips,beautifully shaped breast,her belly and then down.He could see her hip chain in between the belly and her skirt.Khushi suddenly rose to her feet and shouted :Go away...

He took her face in his hands and said:He won't marry you.I need you.

Khushi could feel his breathe on her face.

Khushi pushed him and said:You are mad.Don't touch me.

Arnav was angry now.He said:Yes, I'm mad,mad on you.I want you.Then he gave her a bone breaking hug and began to kiss her.He lifted her a little and sucked her lips.Khushi could not move.He turned her and caught her from back.He kissed her neck and slowly began to caress her breasts.Khushi felt very weak now.She wanted to kill him but she could not.His hands touched her lehenga skirt.She understood the danger.By gathering all the strength,she turned and slapped him.

He was in utter shock.He looked dangerous.Khushi was looking here and there.She saw a big stapler on the table,quickly took it and threw it at him.It hit his right hand's elbow.He made a sound in pain .She saw blood coming from his elbow.She was horrified and fled from there.

She was shivering with fear and hid herself in the washroom adjoining Shwetha's bedroom.Aftr some time she slowly opened the door and listened.She could hear Anjali and some others' voice:What happened Arnav?How did it happen?

Arnav:I...I slipped and my hands hit the iron bar.

Khushi gave a sigh of relief but she was afraid, too afraid now.She was sure that he would take revenge.They left the hall and then only she entered there.

Shwetha came there:she said:hai Khushi, we were searching for you.What are you doing here?You know Arnav had a minor accident.There is a big cut on his hand.He went to hospital.

Garima wanted to go home.Shwetha:Aunty,please I'll send Khushi later.

Khushi wanted to escape from there.But she didn't allow.

The party continued...

Arnav came back from hospital.Aman was with him.

Aman:Arnav,tell me friend,how did it happen?

Arnav didn't answer.Instead he said:Aman.I want her full details.

Aman:You mean,Khushi?

Arnav:Yes

Aman:See Arnav,You won't get her.Don't mess her life.She seems a very refined and decent girl.

Arnav:I want the details within 24 hours.

Aman:For what purpose?

Arnav:I'm going to marry her.

Aman:What?
