Arnav and Aman continued their talk.

Aman: Are you serious ?

Arnav:More than anything else in my life.

Aman:This is not joke.Marriage is not a game.And I don't think that you are ready to be a family man.I'm sorry to say that dear friend.You have something else in mind.And I don't want to spoil the life of an innocent and homely girl.

Arnav:Finished your idiotic talk?Now listen.I'm not a fool to take a hasty decision.I've decided to marry.And I see in her qualities which I like to be in my wife.

Aman:How can you in two days?You've just met her.

Arnav:That's enough for me to judge a woman.

Aman:If she denies?

Arnav:She won't.She can't.

Aman :Over confidence.She seems to be in love with Varun.

Arnav's lips tightened.He said:If I'm Arnav,She would be my wife within a few days.

Aman:I bet Arnav,you won't get her.Never...

Arnav gave a cynical laugh.He said:That means you haven't understood your friend properly.

Aman:I know you are a devil but I don't want to see you fail anywhere.But I know this is going to be a tough mission.

Arnav:I like challenges.

Aman:She seems very innocent and cultured Arnav.I pity her.

Arnav:Yes,she is.That is why I like her.Such girls are very rare now a days.

Aman:So you really like her?What about your Reeba?

Arnav:My Reeba?She is anybody's.Aman, If I marry I would marry a lady of class and culture and I would remain faithful to her.I'm not that cheap.

Aman:I want you to be happy Arnav,and I don't know why you are particular about this girl,eventhough you would look a hot,made for each other couple.In looks both complement each other.But in life...?

Arnav:I'm going to have a talk with my family.You please get me the details.

Arnav got all the details regarding Khushi from Aman.He asked his family members to gather in the living room after dinner.Everyone was anxious to know the reason.

Anjali:Come on ,chote what is it?

Arnav:I'm going to marry

Both anjali and Nani were shocked and sad thinking that he was going to marry Reeba.

Everyone asked:Ehh?

They could not believe.

Nani:Chote,...Who is the girl?She was very afraid that it was Reeba.

Arnav:Khushi Kumari Gupta..

They could not believe their ears.

Anjali:khushi...?You mean Shwetha's friend?Chote,you just met her.How can you?

The next day Arnav's uncle and Mami went to Khushi's house to meet her mother and uncle.They could not believe that the proposal is from Raizada house.

Garima:How is it possible?They don't know each other.They just met yesterday.And I want to know Khushi's opinion.

Mami:Where is she?We want to meet her.

Garima called Khushi.Mami and Uncle were staring at the girl who came to the room where they were sitting.

They asked her a few questions and left.

Khushi:Why did they come amma?

Garima:They were here with a proposal for Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada.

Khushi:proposal?

Garima:Yes..he wants to marry you

Khushi thought that she was going to faint.The shock was so strong that she was staring at her mother in total disbelief:Marriage?for me?Raizada?

Khushi:Is he mad?

Garima:He met you just yesterday know?I was thinking the same.

Uncle:No..beti.. .He is a well known person in the society.He is a shrewd man.He met you and liked you.that's it.

Khushi:No..uncle..I'm not going to marry him.

Aunt:Khushi..he is very rich and handsome ..you are lucky..

Khushi:Is money everything?My happiness is not important?

Uncle:Beti,..do you have anyone else in mind?

The news reached Raizada house.Her uncle informed Nani that Khushi is not interested in the proposal.Both Nani and Anjali were disappointed.

Shwetha was thunderstruck at the news.She understood that he was obsessed by her beauty but discouraged Khushi from marrying him.

Anjali and nani went to Khushi's house.Nani liked her very much.

Khushi:We don't know each other.We just met.That is not enough to lead a married life.

Anjali:If you are given a chance to know each other?

Khushi shuddered at the idea.

Nani:Anjali,the girl has good manners,well brought up,very beautiful and homely.Chote will be lucky to get such a girl.

Khushi decided to meet Varun.She told everything to him except Arnav kissing and touching her.

Khushi:He is after me since we met.

Varun:But Khushi,It's a surprise.As far as I know,he keeps away from women eventhough he has some selected interests.Every one knows that he has affairs but he never goes after any women against her will.I wonder why has he decided to marry you?Every one is thinking that he would marry Reeba.

Khushi:Who is Reeba?

Varun:His mistress.

Khushi:So he is a womaniser.

Varun:Forget it.Most men have.

Khushi:Do you have one?

Varun laughed:Not yet.

Khushi:I don't want to marry him.

Varun:Then there is an option.I'll marry you

Khushi:Yes..that would be better.

Varun :Are you serious?

Khushi:Are you?

At home Arnav was staring at his injured elbow and his thoughts went back to the moment he got the throw from her.His lips twisted into a smile.He said to himself:I'll make you compensate for this.

He opened the door of his room which led to a closed verandah and then to a door which led to a small garden.He stood in the garden looking at the sky thinking about his life.He had money,fame,power,pleasure but he was not happy.A pair of innocent,cute,naughty eyes were haunting him.He folded his hands and stood there thinking about her.An intense desire for her ,a desire with an unknown feeling,an uncontrollable passion,lust,possessiveness was making him mad.He said:You are mine..mine only.Arnav was wondering over his feelings.He never felt like this earlier.He never felt crazy for a girl.

Varun and Khushi had a long talk.They decided to get engaged.But Khushi was surprised to know her emotions.She was not thrilled at the idea.She was just happy and felt safe and secure.She never quivered at his touch.But she was very much aroused at the touch of Arnav.She couldn't deny the ecstacy she felt at his nearness.But she can't marry such a person.

Arnav decided to meet Khushi.He took the help of Shwetha.Shwetha hesitated.But Arnav said:Your friend misunderstood me.I have no bad intention.I want to marry her.

Shwetha realised that Arnav really liked her.She decided to take Khushi for an outing..Shwetha selected one of the places a bit far away from town.Arnav reached as planned.He took Aakash with him.Khushi was horrified to see him there.She stood up to leave.Shwetha stopped her.

Khushi:So it was planned know?

Shwetha:Khushi,have an open talk with him.He'll understand.

Khushi shut her eyes.How can she tell her about his obsessed behaviour?

Shwetha :Tell that you are not going to marry him.

Arnav reached their side.He said:Hello.Khushi turned her head away.

Shwetha went with Aakash.

Arnav:Khushi..look at me,do you want anything to drink?

Khushi didn't answer.

Arnav:It's bad manners to avoid somebody conversing with you.

She glared at him and said:Do you have manners?Is it you talking about manners?

Arnav:I know you are annoyed.I'm here with the proposal myself.

Khushi:It'll be your dream.You won't get me.

Arnav:Khushi..I haven't proposed to any other girl till date.

Khushi:And you think that I would accept your proposal?

Arnav:Of course.

Khushi:No gentleman will kiss a girl at first sight and without her consent..And what all things you did to me?

Arnav's tone changed.He said in an authoritative tone.I touched,tried to possess what belongs to me.

Khushi:Me belongs to you?

Arnav:Exactly..you belong to me..me only..come on when do you prefer the wedding?How do you want to conduct it?

Khushi:Mr.Raizada..you are psychic.And then she turned and went from there.

Khushi didn't see the expression on his face.That moment onwards Arnav was planning their wedding.

Khushi told everything to Varun and they decided to get engaged..The day dawned.Khushi and her family members,friends and neighbours were busy in her house.

As Varun was a rising star,the news came in the media.Naturally the news reached Raizada mansion and Mehta's house.

No one dared to ask Arnav anything.His silence was a dangerous sign.

Aman gathered courage and asked him:Arnav,do you hear the news?

Arnav signed not to talk.

At home,in his room,Arnav was planning something.He was making several phone calls.

Khushi was looking very beautiful in a red and blue lehenga skirt,blouse and matching dupatta.Her phone was ringing continuously.She took it.She heard a familiar voice on the other side:Khushi...all the best..but the man whom you are going to marry is going to be a pauper.His entire business deals are at stake.He has a very good future.Both of you don't love each other.It's just an escape from me.

Khushi:You devil...

Arnav laughed.He continued:He'll get everything back if you come right now to me.

Khushi:No..no

Arnav:I'll give you ten minutes to decide.If it's yes, get inside the car waiting for you outside..i'll give you the details..otherwise get ready for the downfall of your friend.And come alone...He cut the phone.

Khushi collapsed on the floor.She couldn't believe.Can a man be so cruel?Oh God..what fate is this?Varun was saving her life and how can she let him fail ?Varun reached this position through his hard work.He is from a mediocre family.His family depends on him.

She had only a few minutes with her.She wiped off the tears and rose to her feet with a determined look on her face.She cannot sacrifice Varun's life.Her friends including shwetha came to her room.They asked the reason for her gloomy look.

Khushi slowly went outside her house.Everyone was asking where she was going.She didn't answer.By the time Shwetha and Garima ran after her,she opened the car parked outside and got in.

A scream escaped her mouth when she saw the person in the driving seat.It was he.The moment she got in he drove off.

Khushi:where are you taking me?He didn't answer.He didn't talk throughout.

He went straight to a bungalow and parked his car outside it.He opened the door for her.She hesitated to get down.So he carried her in his hands and went inside.She struggled.He put her down.He took her to a room where she saw the photograph of a couple who resembled him and Anjali.He took something from his pocket.To her horror she saw mangalsutra.

Arnav:We are going to be husband and wife in the presence of my parents.She could not believe.She decided to run.

Arnav:Khushi..don't be foolish..

He came near her and tied the mangalsutra on her neck.She shut her eyes.Tears rolled down.Then he opened the sindoor box and put sindoor on her forehead.

Arnav whispered in her ear:You are my wife now.You are mine.

Arnav :Khushi... This is our first night ... .I know you are afraid of me.Look at me...I won't touch you.Just give me a smile.I touch you,kiss you because I need you.You are mine from the moment we met each other.
