Chapter 3-

Simi, you were worried for nothing, the part came out perfect. It was a thrilling narration. I could just see, it must not be an easy piece to write, but you did it splendidly.

You know, it is just so that Trinity killer reminded me of my fav. show Dexter. I just watched the entire 8 seasons in a marathon viewing 3 months ago. It did addle my brain for sure.

Kudos to Arnav for surviving that psychologically traumatizing experience and emerge victorious. But I am sure there is more to him😉...

As I was reading, it just struck my mind, is Ryan his half brother or something? Girl you have weaved an intriguing tale for sure.

And indeed! Her father would have never wanted her to suffer. However, it isn't about her father or anyone else , its about her.

She has become so self-depreciative due to her past experiences, that she is taking this whole thing with Ryan as her own personal form of penance.

What she should have known is that one amazing quote from the Princess Diaries: The Brave may not live forever, but the cautious doesn't live at all.

This is simply not how she can survive.

The sooner she gets it, the better. :)

This was one chapter which I thoroughly enjoyed writing, especially because it was so dayum easy to envision Arnav and Khushi strike a conversation like that here, despite it being their first legit meet.

The folklore was incorporated with a reason, but that reason is significant in the story further or not-- that shall be known soon. :)

And Arnav does carry a lot of baggage from the past!

But well, so does Khushi.

I indeed had to do a lot of thinking while drafting this. Although being a journalist, the written news reports in the update wasn't tough, but it was what followed after that in the narration that was one tough but to crack.

So I m glad u liked it :)

Coming to Dexter!

That used to be one of my most favorote shows!

Although I watched it only till Season 6.

Michael C Hall did an AMEH-ZING job!

However, the trinity killer reference here was taken by a true news report I had seen one of my old journalist friends cover. :)

I am happy I could do justice with the thrilling element of this chapter :)

And about Ryan being Arnav's half brother- umm, this story wraps in three more chapters. So we will know the things pronto. 😉😆
