May be we get a morning view of a white SUV parked infront of a mansion..

Hello hi girls,

The last one? Yes it is ...

The Finale thread? Yes that's right ...

The End? Oh no no no ... definitely not

If you see the title of the thread, it is named 'The Finale ... Arnav Khushi Hamesha', it's an oxymoron, a finale which is hamesha, forever, never ending. So, the pages of this book, which we call a thread, may fill up, but this saga of Arnav and Khushi and the talks about them are never going to end. There will always be other avenues, related to blast or otherwise, in the form of stories, poems, special occasion posts, etc, etc.

Also, this means that we are completing round one. Round two has already started in the form of Reblast, only that we won't be following a format there. It's a free will discussion starting all over again, or I should say, already started. 😊

BFTP has been an amazing journey. None of us ever imagined we would be at this place. I hadn't yet seen many random episodes when I joined blast. But what an enjoyable experience it was to watch them with you all, with a new outlook, a different angle and varied viewpoints. The minute discussions, the blast discoveries, the fun making, etc, etc, all are memorable. And apart from that, the thread creating process - one of the most enjoyable creative jobs I did, all thanks to Indi.

And the many things we learnt here, that we never even knew existed. Making edits, gifs, vms, posting pics, videos, music, glitter & animations. Creating accounts in almost all social networking sites (ok, this part is thanks to the junglee boy's debut movie)

But the most precious thing we gained from blast is this group of pagal girls, who each arrived with a stick of super glue, because of which we are still stuck to each other and have no iraada, intention to get a remedy for that glue. 😉

So with the blasters still together, there is definitely no end to this pagalpan. Therefore, only hello hi. Bye bye will have to wait. 😊

just made an edit from one of the best not at all anywhere near remarriage episodes. loook at hiiim. sanaya was deadly too in this one, she was outstanding and my sweet op awww, jaiye hum aapke saath baad mein khelege...

uff what if he should look at you... no no me... and say it, like that.

kya... kya kar rahi ho. he was so gorgeous and funny.

i am sure both sautens will come charging to get him now and sweet kate as well.

One of the sautens is here In di, soha to whisk the junglee shahri away! Hee hee! Thanks for the edit In di. I marvel again and again how he could get his expressions so perfect! You were playing? With OP? I spy? When you should be instead accompanying me to the horse races? 😆

I was thinking about the moments post remarriage and instead of favourites tried to select the one that unsettles me the most. Just couldn't decide, so here is my list

- Khushi's really bad attire during football match. They had made a complete caricature out of the Indian girl. Velvet anarkali, hair band and keds. As part of ragging in college we were made to wear sneakers with salwar suits. Even then we managed to look better that Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada. And don't kill me but I admit for a second I almost thought ASR should be with someone that atleast carries herself like Sheetal.
- Forcing the Movie theatre guard to allow snacks inside while ASR watched with adoring eyes. I mean what the!!!! And am not even talking about what happened inside. Let us forget that as a bad dream, but why does Khushi need to take inside home made snacks?oh right its expensive... silly me..
- The final speech. No mention of Arnavji till the end and then simply grandstanding with something almost mediocre and ordinary like "he is with me always".. Along with Barun maybe the writers had also gone off to a holiday in Europe...

Most probably have missed a few more moments I find awful, but its good I have forgotten them. Sorry for the sorry post. Couldn't stop myself.

a dori snapping, a girl turns and looks back, a teardrop rolling down, aviators on and a window rolls up, jalebis sizzle in hot oil, dupatta caresses face, a goat loiters about, a water sprinkler goes off and drenches a dapper man, she's trapped in a crumbling building, a hand touches a tender cheek, where do kahanis start? do they ever end?

blast began with a will to hang onto a dream and keep listening to the story, revel in the pull and lift and twirl of the kahani. for more than two years and twenty nine threads we have done just that. and really had the time of our life. now here we are at episode 354 and onward. whither, indi...? are we going with this all the way to the end?

yes, the end of the episodes, but never the kahani. isn't far away somewhere a girl running out of her home even now with a blue file in her hand, lehenga, choli, gota on plait, sneakers? isn't that a helicopter landing? have you ever celebrated teej? have you ever given faraq? have you ever been dragged to a temple? do you love chane? do you frown darkly? "tumhare pati hone ke naate," has anyone told you you need to put on some weight? why is indi rambling? because it sort of hurts, dammit. this is the last of the blast. shall we just trap hamesha and keep it with us forever?

Please scroll down for Rules, Index and a happy dose of Hamesha.

Indi di, faiqa di, Durga, supi and kate thanks to you for making an amazing thread one more time.👏👏👏

Durga, through your poem you precisely told the remaining story.

Madness on screen, a storm off screen

I want to ponder this line. Madness or chaos was so much in the story and so much behind the scene too. Barun's quitting fiasco started. Speculation, tension anxiety made us restless. So we ignored the mad story what was going haywire. We just wanted to see the two brilliant and beautiful actors together whose mere presence make us ecstatic.

Indi di you deserve a standing ovation. Your dedication to IPK dumbfounds me. You are the pioneer of the thread and your contribution to blast made it successful.

you made me emotional through your mind blowing note. But as you said Arnav and Khushi's kahani is never ending story for us, it will remain with us forever.

Faiqa di, Kate and supi you nailed it like always. You three are the most wonderful editors; so proud of you.

rhea,

good choice. actually post both weddings, somehow kkg got badly pushed around and played with.

don't even ask me to count the scenes that made me cringe. practically everything post remarriage.

reason writing for 140 is stymied is because while asr takes it all the way top the man i met back in one... always true to himself... soemthing never faltered, but kkg... nah, nowhere is she kkg anymore. insteadwhat agirl "ought to be" or whatever.

soemone said soemthing interesting the other day while we discussed why a lot of girls even in real life go aabit hywire after marriage... sort of change and try too hard, etc.

this friend said it might be because in our culture, the role of the the married woman is much pondered upon and written about in myth and story and everywhere, so we know there are "expectations"... we try to mould to that role. it's like a prototype is already there.

whereas for teh unmarred woman, there's nothing really... as though you don't even count till you tie the knot.
perhaps in a way it's easier to write the not yet married character as opposed to the bahu. especially in the mass media... you are always bothered with what people may or may not accept.

i don't know.

but whatever the impediments and considerations... what they did to khushi is really brutal and unforgivable.

a beautiful character was created between writers director and a most intuitive and canny actress... then this. i wonder if anyone protested. i have heard barun mention his discomfort with the gussa free asr but nothing about khushi...

the whole interaction between him and her suffered terribly because of bad writing and also fairly wanting acting.

Breathtaking Thread's front👏
You are really keeping IPK alive in a true sense .

Congratulations !🥳 to All.

Faiqa you have such a way of words and a totally different angle towards IPK ,must say always gave me a totally new way of thinking towards it.I am not a fan of Karva Chauth but loved the way you put that moment together.Nice ,very intriguing.
Uff! Yoga scene and his intense passionate Kiss and your slow gif.I am dead.😳😉

Collage of gifs of blue dress is superb 👏👏👏 [Sorry if I am wrong, I think it is by Katelyn]

Indi , Kahani's gifs are really telling a kahani.👏 This kahani moves with us.

beautiful work ladies.⭐️
