I was also in a bit of a nahiiin state when he told Di that he didn't love khushi when they got married. Makes you go What the...! Little Amanji's Kiron Kher Nahiin pic/gif would've been apt here! 😆 That just didn't sit right. And the way Anjali was portrayed at the beginning and how she's now in these episodes. Khushi, somewhere that withholding of Shyam's truth sitting heavily in her now. Writers had started fooling around then too, I think. How could they put that responsibility on a young girl? And he's absolute putty in her hands! In the reruns currently, even though it feels like you are watching a different show, she just has to look at him with those eyes and say "aap hamare liye ithna bhi nahi kar sakthey" and the "what the" turns into an Ok! 😆

hi kizh,

putty he is, our arrogant tycoon, our tentwali behen is his undoing. story frankly makes no sense, a thought starts out and then before reaching the first turn, it morphs into something else, one has no idea about what exactly is being told... and yet the two of them in the same frame and it's explosive, a love story keeps growing and driving me nuts.

the whole i didn't love khushi then thing is weird. why would a sister need to hear such a thing even... he could have just said i married her because i thought she was a threat to you or whatever... which is true, that's how he saw it at the time and said as much. but then why must we go on to, i didn't love her then and oh it's you who gave me that wonderful saansey spiel and she is that babe indeed... ugh. and why would sister start smiling instantly... a slightly creepy smile at that.

i don't get any of this.

but the moment asr and khsuhi are together, all is well and i am falling apart.

a poem after a long time, the sound is rich and deep and there's a sense of coming home in it.

The reason why we're here, these two characters and these two people together in the same frame on screen. Its absolute suspension of disbelief and everything else! It still beats me why nobody wants to do anything with these two.

i too can't understand why no one wants to cast them together and get rich. i get the feeling they can pull off anything together. i mean once you have remained unscathed by complete change of character and lakshmi ji eating up the script, random drum playing and peon dress up, and more... it's clear you're slightly indestructible as an idea... so really, why no takers.

I watch an episode and heart goes completely out to the couple trying hard to just love each other and being pulled apart by meddling creatives and petty sisters.. and khushi.. she hugs him with all that love.. and then when he looks quite miserable and di has walked away she walks away too?

where is the story going.. and why does the man make me want to weep just watching the love he radiates out for his jhalli girl.. the feeling he manages to convey in each second should be scooped up and bottled away in the buaji achar jar that rests comfortably on the gupta house dining table.

oh and didn't know the word mensch.. thank you.. how do you know all this?

he he , i know very little, rhea... and often i get confused about whatever little i think i know. love that bua ji pickle jar line. i just spoke of pickle jars in my 303 ramble.

story is long over, and does not, poor thing, rest in peace.

khushi being embarrassed at being walked in on by clan like that, i get. but that total disappearance, leaving arnav ji by himself, ah well.

and what calculation was this exactly that because di is not too happy to see me and arnav ji is unhappy when di isn't all smiles, i must vamoose.

what happened to trying to talk to the man who is madly in love with you, and all the long lectures about marriage and character dheela and stuff.

but i just decided she was so confused and swayed by a swath of uneasy troubling emotions, she acted without understanding, childishly even, in a way many of us do when we get emotional.

would have been marvelous if they had brought this up later. at one point in these episodes we also hear of khushi's ego, great profile shots and stuff... but again, no taking it forward, resolving. such lack of coherence and cohesion...

the character of arnav singh raizada always thrills me, even when he errs. for he always tries his best first... even on the night on that terrace, he desperately tried to focus and do the right thing. he actually did want to speak to khushi, but jeeja ji got him before he could get to her and hearing jeeja dear confirm a liaison with his dhadkan girl just blew the man's mind. i could understand the misunderstanding grabbing him and making him lose his innate ability to see a thing for what it is.

how can khushi, after that "aur main" and his repeated attempts to woo her, even think of walking out without at least talking to him once? well, this is hindi serial, story must shift to gh, track must be thought up, okay, let's send her off to her pink villa and have the brown man chase her, we can show nok jhok and get some trp going...

what will happen to the character? who cares.

what saved it for me was the layers of meaning and feelings these two create whenever they are in a frame together. all that unspoken stuff, the vibe... i see things which i am sure no one consciously added. it's just there.

and again and again i also feel the actor doing asr is extraordinary, he takes his man to a level rarely seen on screen.

Indi, thanks for liking the poem and edit. It did feel good to write one after a long time. Had written the first two lines long back, but wasn't able to concentrate with the movie frenzy all over. So, waited till it settled down. Made ramanchi with the edit, got caps from my vm, sakhi piya. It gets so easy when scenes are already put together at one place. Don't have to search three episodes and end up watching them fully and some more after that, and finally realise that it's time, have to go. 😆

Yes, I remember 'ek pyaar ka nagma hai, maujon ki ravani hai'. Also in 'Chingari koi bhadke' there is a line 'maujon ka dosh nahin hai, ye dosh hai aur kisika'. There are more which have the word maujon. All those thousands of beautiful songs that I would hear all day, since childhood are stored somewhere in my mind. And helps me get to the right words for me to convey. So then, it gets connected with those lovely songs. Like when I wrote 'Rukh se tumhari nazar nahin hat ti' around Diwali time, Wiwy immediately remembered the song, tere chehre se nazar nahin hat ti'. And recently, for the 'Aaj karne do', Indu remembered 'Aaj jaane ki zid na karo'.

Oh, I've become nostalgic.

But today he laid his soul bare... for her to hear.. for her to see.. for her to accept.. for her to reciprocate...for her to not leave ..for her to feel the need in her for him ... just like he does for her...an inexorable one!

They awakened senses in each other that were otherwise muffled..

His utter abjection unveiled ... that she is at the epicenter of his whole existence..

But, she is hurt.. too deeply hurt by his spontaneous scathing remarks... that made her immune to his evident distress. His touching admissions couldn't stop the otherwise very kind Khushi. She made decisions not too palatable for him...those he couldn't condone... could n't live with..

He has to act upon them instantly.. efficaciously. Win his khushi ...bring her back into his life. He commenced with gentler means, emulating tricks best employed by khushi, her very own ingenuous ways bordering on peculiar to bizarre at times, albeit very exciting and impromptu, remind her of the invigorating ride they have been through... that paved their remarkable journey together...

But khushi truly seem to have acquired an impassibility.. she has decided to be unresponsive today..

He wouldn't accept defeat that easily. The uncanny ability of a young business man coming to fore...the ways he knew that would work. "Apne style me kaam karo.. apne sharthon par"... "work in your own style, on your own principles"...he counseled his brother akash some months ago while he was pursuing Payal's love.

Now, he would seal this deal in his own style and accord. He is a man on a mission. Time to pull out an peerless strategy from his armor.. an infallible one.. ..a devilish one...

He is always absolutely enamored by the palpable hypnotic effect of his proximity and touch upon her. He would claim his right on her today...make her realize how absolutely disarmed she becomes in his tantalizing confines.
He would absolutely enjoy the fact that she is his wife.. his legally wedded wife. Wife... he told Lavanya once she could never be his wife... he surely cared for her friendship, respected her quite a lot.. but wife? Not... a relationship that is too precious and pure to belong to this faux world...in his drawings..

But, Khushi is everything he cynisized to be wiped off from this world... a selfless love, an unbelievable simplicity and a guile less infectious childlike energy.. he would have no qualms, rather proud to call her to be his wife...

Stage is all set to win her back... to drive her into his arms.. ...the means didn't matter...

During the epic war of Kurukshetra, to defeat the great warrior Drona, his son's name was used by the otherwise unfalteringly truth adhering Yudhishtira as he announced "Ashwatthama hathaha...kunjara" (Ashwatthama died...an elephant) but making only the first part audible to Drona which is not exactly true, the news of his son's death ultimately leading to Drona's downfall. After all, all is fair in love and war...

Here in this war of love, the outcome is of mutual interest. Khushi reciprocated to his designs like an instrument attuned to its adept player. She promptly ran into her arnavji's safe arms, her savior, in an hour of dire need..

"Right at that moment when I pulled you closer...

A heat emanated.. ..a stir rife

a pique on your lips... an intent for a strife...

but why do your eyes say otherwise

an instant melt in your frame

at my gaze

an incite to claim rights ..

on my legally wedded wife...

Push me afar

as if you don't care...

deny me along

but I see an invite in that glare

a wild urge to seal you as mine

it's a challenge.. i may say

but

the bliss of being your consort

an infinite joy..in that epithet

Come..

Fill my arms... fill my life..

Fill all the spaces in between

cos we belong right here..

and this is an endless affair.."

Awesome is the poem Indu. And I liked how you brought in 'Ashwathama hata ha, kunjaraha' in here. What's kurukshetra battle doing in a love story, one may think. But, it's true, everything is fair in love and war and the ploys that were used to tackle each and every opponent in the battle makes for some wide range discussions.

And we see how ASR is fighting his battles on his own, changing his ploy at every reaction of hers. A batlle with the wife to win his wife.

That suggestion to Akash to win Payal's love, no, actually it was to make the deal with Payal 🤣 Oh, those happy hilarious times! 😆
