Since we are at Diwali, let's start with Diwali.
Episode 114: Diwali night, when the first of the almosts started. Then, engagement announcement, heartbreak, that unforgettable car ride, the koi matlab nahin, the heart wrenching door sliding, etc. A night where the creep succeeds in his ploy. After a dramatic night, when quietness settles in, Arnav and Khushi are lost in thoughts under the night sky above. Arnav is staring at the moon, perhaps he can see his Khushi's reflection there, perhaps ... hold on ... It's Diwali night which is always celebrated on Amavasya, ie on New Moon night. Where did the full moon appear from? Oh well, he is ASR, can do anything. Perhaps, he arranged for an artificial night with a full moon to stare at? This surely is magic, the magic of ASR. 😆
Episode 386: Another Diwali episode. The most unforgivable blooper which every IPK fan caught right away. 😡 Way back in Epi 106 and again in Epi 109, Khushi talks against the use of crackers. But now, celebrating Diwali a second time in Shantivan, Khushi wants to get crackers for Aarav and this time it's Arnav talking against the use of crackers. Haye re Nand Kissore, Sanka devi toh pagalaa gayi hai, Sanka devi has gone mad. This is no magic, this is surely jadu tona, that too done by the writers.
Episode 66: After a tearful tiff & patch up between the brother and sister, Raksha Bandhan is finally celebrated happily. This festival for celebrating the beautiful bond between the brother and sister, falls on the full moon day. Anjali announces that the very next day is Janmashtami. As the name suggests, it is celebrated on ashtami, ie 8 days from the full moon day. Now, if ASR can create magic, can his sister be far behind. The intermediate days are collapsed and the festival is celebrated the very next day as per the Queen's orders. 😆
Episode 70: Janmashthami episode. Khushi plays a trick to bring ASR down to the Pooja area. The lights goes off while ASR is working on the laptop. Usually, the light from the laptop would be glaring in a dark room. But no such thing seems to be there. Or maybe, the laptop too shut down when the lights went off. Or maybe, ASR was already working on the laptop with a low battery level. And it's shutting down along with the room lights was a coincidence? This is one magic that is almost a jadu tona. 😆
Episode 135: Not a very major one, but since we are talking of bloopers, so ... After much hardwork by Arnav & Khushi, the what crap ways or otherwise to appease Mamiji, Payal and Akash's alliance has got complete affirmation from the Raizadas. Anjali tells Khushi not to reveal the same at home. Reason, Rahu kaal has started. Rahu kaal is a time period lasting for one and a half hour during which, auspicious deeds are avoided. Again, Rahu kaal takes place only during day time. After dusk, there is no Rahu kaal. Perhaps our religious Anjali has miscalculated, didn't notice that it was already night and stopped Khushi from revealing the good news through the whole night. Haye re ... She could have easily said, let's give Payal a surprise.
Since we are celebrating Diwali and having fun, I have given some festival related bloopers. Bloopers are galore in IPK. Do come up with some interesting ones, I will add above. Let's avoid the BD caused bloopers like mismatched accessories, mehandi, nail colour, etc.
Enjoy the magic.
😳

😆 😆 😆

To add:
Sangeet ceremony. Khushi dances to ek do teen and then didi tera dewar. Both different dresses. But after the performance she changes back to the ek do teen one from blue saree in no time and for some unforeseen reason😛 😆

Pre forced wedding khushi wore high heels very comfortably but then during Mrs India thing she can not walk due to high heels and sleeps. 😲 😲

Have more but can not remember all. WIll visit here when i remember it.😳

Thanks Indi and Ami (Horizon) for the warm welcome😊 Sorry Horizon could not respond to your response in last thread.
I just watched the show and have fallen for it😲😳 .A very rare trait for me to be obsessed with any thing/show/character but when i visited this forum i found many peeps like me who are repeatedly watching it and the reason i found was similar from all the write up here. So am glad to visit this place.
This is the first show that i have completed fully. Have watched each and every episode and that too without FF😳

Fantabulous Thread...everyone...👏👏👏

Durgey...What a poem ...yes Kaat Kaat Kaat...He needs one...I wish I was in Inda ...I must be after him with all the tools to do the job.I absolutely didn't like him in his new avatar no matter what.
What an idea of putting all those Bloopers...cute...We have so many ...but again I said so many times ..I totally ignore all of these things...

Indi...you have all the tools, you should've stop at his place first.Lovely write ups , both the notes and the dialogue...yes milord has reached to his peak from all sides..no news either...bas...I've had enough from him.

Kate..I don't know what to say as I used all the words already...so simply beautiful...

Supi, my guru ..u r a chupi rustum...you kept some tricks with you...marvelous edits...love u doll and miss u too.If I can make time ...sometimes..u can too...madam ustaniji.

IJ, Janeman...Mad Men...and Stranger...yes indifferent to this world Meursault, an antichrist, a protagonist who grabs the priest to tell him" that he is correct in believing in a meaningless, purely physical world. For the first time, Meursault truly embraces the idea that human existence holds no greater meaning. He abandons all hope for the future and accepts the "gentle indifference of the world." This acceptance makes Meursault feel happy...and he wants to die...I read that book like million times and now you can imagine why ASR is so close to me , Why IPK stands tall for me ...Because regardless my beliefs are strong but still in many things I am sternly non believer because those are man made...and hold no meaning what so ever...Yes Mad Men is worth watching...but you need a vision to see that...and if you see there is a thought of sufism there ...indifferent to this world...OK that book talks to me...in many many ways...

Cynthia...thnx for liking the notes of his journey with tool's gifs...I was playing around though...The Diwali one is my serious one...I told everyone ..I am definitely not funny...Thnx for the VMs and The interview.

Javeria...Thnx for liking the edit ...Oh I love him in this cut but I have no problem in later ones also ...it's just his recent look is not sitting with me...that's it...

Horizon...thnx for liking the piece...and the VM...
Nice edit of this arrogant man who is summoning the poor soul to stay awake and do the job and she will take that revenge later when he will come to her home to hold her hand to sleep...adat..."main hoon adat se majboor.."

Rhea...Yes indifferent and those epis hold so much , we can write thesis on em...full of Dhak Dhak stuff...seeing him everywhere...

credit to Kate ...

What gorgeous Gifs...and what wonderful words to me above, AJ. To drop the search for meaning is the raasta to pure joy...na? Meursault is a man i relate to on many levels... one of the big ones being his passivity which i share unconditionally...and a close second, the sense of detachment even in the most intimate of spaces. It's funny but i've always felt more akin to male characters in stories than females...ASR too...he's the one i hooked my wagon to on IPK. Khushi, i could only admire her, could never be that girl...

As for the universe and all that talk of alchemy of positive vibes leading to fulfilment of dreams...i don't want to reject it...but the absurdity of life, the nonsensical nature of chaos that happen in the world, and in our own worlds, how to dispute that? Where's the meaning to the mayhem? "Gentle indifference"...oh yes, sufism thrives in there...there's sufism in every bit of emptiness as much as it is in wealth of belonging..

And "you need vision" to appreciate Mad Men...i couldn't agree more. Wait, does that mean i have "vision"? Too good!!😆

Back to Diwali and our protagonists here...i have to say there's something extremely powerful in undeniable truths...those desires that can't really be changed, even if they are controlled to an extent (of course, i'm speaking of the Raizada stopping short of kissing her here). But there's also something really painful at play here.. Their relationship speaks to us not simply because it's "romantic"...i think we're drawn to it because it's so complicated... Diwali for me is the pinnacle of that complication... I'm so drawn to that pain. It rings true because it says we're all ultimately flawed. And trying to find meaning in the things we do...well, now we're kinda back to the ultimate truth, where we started...Jab jo bura kaha, jab jo bura kiya...usska koi matlab nahin...could it have been said more beautifully?

Thanks for the chat, AJ my darling ladki...see ya soon soon!

IT'S BREATHER NO. 7
AS WE GET SET FOR DIWALI

Badhein hain baal tumhare, O Barun
Ghungrale baalonwale
Surat dikhe na ghane baalon ke peeche

Kyun na inhe kaat daalein?

Diwali hai, kaat kaat kaat
Diwali cut mein kaat kaat

😆

Translation:

Your hair has grown, O Barun
One with curly hair
Your face cannot be seen behind these thick tresses
Why not cut them?

It's Diwali, cut cut cut
In a Diwali cut, you get it cut

diwali is a time for traditions, for observances, for meaningful deep things, when evil is vanquished, nay, cut and beauty lights up the universe. those who love ipkknd know the diwali hair cut is a sacred tradition of this time, to be observed strictly and with utter passion.

which is why blast is taking finding nai - the barber break. only we know exactly how valuable a thing as simple as a hair cut can be. did i say simple? no! never. i meant sublime, i meant supreme, i meant spiritual. yes, it was that... a true transformation that could make your soul elevate, resonate, reach nirvana.

it was also downright sexy... and who should know it first... kkg, of course. did you see what happened to her when she saw that man in his new short sides and back lemme stick out my ear at you hair cut! who can blame her for instantly getting the point. not acidity, not bukhaar... she knew it was that word that cannot find a name.. oh what the... she knew it was love. yes. one look at the durwan ji and all was clear. when she saw dhobi ji all became even more transparent... then came arnav ji, and hola... what's this, was his hair back to where it was????? nahiiin... she was so disappointed, she was bereft, she almost got set to fall right out of that feeling that shall not be named. thankfully, he knew at once what the problem was, and the shatir man was back to that supremely sublimely spiritually sexy look.

petals showered, stars rained... the hair cut saved the hamesha love.

is it any wonder then, as d-day approaches and a certain gentleman is spotted with his extra locks and fuzz that we provide a space and all you need to get that hair cut, boy.
