he said, "this is not funny" as he searched for her in the woods? i rremember him frantic and handsome, but not that line... nainital is another thesis worthy bit.

thanks for that, rhea.. so kizh thought i was rhea and said the dialogue comes from nainital... and rhea went looking for it and found "this is not funny"... i think the show wants to chat with us... hamesha.

we are a day away from one "this is not funny" and just then kizh remembers that particular dialogue because of v bad writing and we find out this funny thing...

tell me someone there is no telepathy, no vibe, no sixth seventh eight sense.

i feel like saying accha hua there was bad writing, a la achha hua hum gire.

gosh, there was another this is not funny from the man when he thought he'd lost her...

i think sometimes writers just repeated without thinking and sometimes they dod it deliberately to create resonance or other things... like that mirroring of shyam and asr's dialogues at times. or using the same words in layers across episodes.

here, it's most likely how asr would react to such a stressful situation. or maybe a subtle tying of the two episodes, suggesting he was never not in love with this mad woman, even then the thought of losing her was scary... then he was not that aware, but he felt things... uff when he gets up in the morning and realises he has left her alone in a dark room. and then beating up the goondas.

now he is absolutely aware and this is really not funny.

So teri meri wasn't promoted in advance, no "spoiler" carrots flung here and there. Uff, that's just too good. I love being caught off guard by beauty. And build-ups can sometimes be such a deadly dash of hope!!

And this teri meri was a wonderful take on human desire and ecstasy.. coupled with that nagging inherent self doubt that plagues each one of us - that this is just too good to be true. Is she really mine? It felt so much more real than a couple throwing themselves at each other, a fake sense of one-dimensional fulfillment...when we all know coming together can be anything but...there is an edge to happiness almost always...which makes it complete, complex, believable, real. And they had all of this going on in a dream. How fantastic.

The heart to heart that followed...it's fluidity and openness killed me. You picked up on her "majesty", am very happy...it made me happy too, when i realised that's what i felt about her in that moment!

And yes, you read right...in her, he met God, is the way i see it too. Losing oneself and finding faith, that is God, right? "Yeh kya kar diya Khushi tumney mere saath"...something divine got settled right there.

i did not cry during telepathy, but i did quietly slip into another reality... that surreality.

you said god, and you are so right. i had said to rhea, the atheist showed the ultimate faith. atheist, theist, vishwas, avishwas... these are just words. i saw more faith and god in asr and his owning of his life, his destiny than in many others.

and also, i do believe loving truly will take you straight to god, say it or not, believe it or not, be atheist all you like. that space where the heart flows without restraint... that feeling of flow... i am convinced divinity is there.

telepathy was placed exactly where it fit perfectly and the acting was a little better than flawless.

thanks for reading my take and watching the vm, i know you are reading anything after a long time... i hope it was not tiring and irksome and you got something out of it. and i am thrilled you decided to read mine...

i do believe in telepathy, if you have vibe and yearning... and think with a clear heart... and minus agenda, you start hearing things.

you liked the vm? i am so happy, this telling a story through pictures and sound, very tough, trying to understand. here thankfully, the basic visual is so compelling, not much technical ability or knowledge needed. a chinese friend of mine saw it by chance and of course we had a long converastion about what, really? they are not lovers? she also agreed, yes, he is veeerrry handsome... even though last year she thought he was not good looking. teehee.

Not at all did it bother or irk, ladki. It was a deeply felt piece, and said things that resonated big time. But you know me so well...i've been feeling overwhelmed at the very thought of delving into reading or writing...the switch hasn't turned on fully yet but i just decided to make a go...thank you for letting me experiment with yours, in fact😆...encouragement in a parallel dimension de di tumney!!

Minus agenda...that is the crux for me. Loved reading that in your words above. Even the slightest idea of "what this can lead to" is polluting the very essence of the doing. And vibes, energy, yearning, connecting, wholeness...these are not even in the realm of "doing". How do you set a time or place or agenda for the surreal to come into play..it comes together when it has to...with a clear heart, yes definitely. I'm a strong believer of it from life lived so far.

Loved the VM and hope to see more. It's interesting that friends, even with me, those who don't know the show and have never seen him in context, seem to give off a mixed vibe...one or two have instantly liked a lot..but quite a few just don't get it at first sight...and there comes my convincing😆..and man, can he grow on you!

Will not be able to hang much in the next few days, sadly...work and travel is intense tomorrow thru tuesday...i'm missing the "rescue weekend" it now turns out...what an AMAZING episode hai woh bhi! I remember you bringing an old forum post tumhara, to one of the blast threads, about the number of times he said Khushi there...it was an ecstatic read!!

that's a great edit... nainital and clifftop... funny how we get to the places we get to and actually we were perhaps always there. maybe life is just a play to tell us we are already somewhere and how is it that we got there... is that why there is so much thought on fate... is it all really a delve into our memory from another plane, here on this physical space... is that why i can never decide if there's random or there's design, somehow there seems to be more and i can't put my finger on it?

have you had enough of indi52's surreal talk... what is hamesha really, if not just an instant...

i watched the 10 minutes again and again yesterday as i made a vm... every time it gets me.

and yet, this actor is out of circulation... everyone talking about him ruining his own career, being this way that way, not being this way that way...

he may really botch his career... but his art... that will remain etched in me. as long as i live perhaps. whether he wins accolades or not, and even if he makes not a single other film, he will be one of the greats for me, i suspect for many others. and in a funny way, i am glad he is not into the "game", saying all the right things. he is who he is, that is why he can do what he does.

something untouched, pure there... including all the flaws. and the endless beauty.

Butting in, Indi di (now that I've had a break from the excel staring session, I know whom I'm addressing😆), even if he doesn't do anything else again or whatever he does, remains hidden, ASR will not be forgotten. Unless people stop being able to tell the difference between real talent and the wannabes. Watching reruns, I feel as if I'm noticing stuff. The man comes to return wife's phone, thrilled that he has a reason to come and see her. She doesn't look that pleased, and happiness/tenderness, that feeling that something is not right with her and hurt, all appearing in those eyes in split seconds. Are we imagining things!
