It was important to make him peel off the skin of misunderstanding that ppl of this status are after money like he always say this to Khushi.Yes his war is with Khushi but he is also have a war within too.

That is pure Khushi , I know we all have an issue with the development of her character but if you go back , she did have the same kind of spontaneous actions which we are not considering here...Her niboo scene where she is mixing in his drinks...way out of orportion and out of thinking...go back..she in his car while going to Nainital, she screaming and acting to make him stop from going at Dhabba ...this is another action of her miracles what she does.Se through her character of silly side one not the mature one...yes she is having 101 action at her table but again this is Khushi we are talking about who takes him wash Haldi with Happiji garage pipe or handpump later too.

Faiqa, I am not disagreeing wit you completely but only with Khushi..😆

That AC thing, agree he was wrong in the modus operandi.. altho his intentions were clean.. if she did all that to vent her anger at him.. she is right.. but if she truly thought he needed a lesson or two about the owes of middle class people and their travails .. she is wrong.. as he has seen more wretched days than her without a roof on his head until nani came to their rescue.. God knows what all days he and Anjali had to see before that!

All his initial aukat/ middle class talk came across as only and only his shield to ward off the attraction this girl is spinning him into.. denial.. psychology 101 .. something unthinkable/ unacceptable happens he has to find fault with her some how..and if she saw carefully he was fine with her sis and her family.. and Khushi and her spontaneous actions.. the less I talk the better it is..no wonder many of us didn't see the need for any separate redemption tracks...

btw, miss you, miss you and miss you.. hope work and weather show some respite!!

About he being a beast, his caustic tongue is his greatest flaw... he did scathe her many a times with that.. but every time he was a beast he had a reason.. small or big... except for one which is most uncalled, unchivalrous.. when he left her to drop from the first floor... but half of the time this man was regretting what ever he had said/ did.. ..

"I don't push people to what they NOT want to do.. bad manners hotha hai you see.."(if only a voice could kill!!!)...one of my greatest grievances for this story is how khushi would never retrospect.. when, if I understood right, both these were flawed to start with. I recall immensely loving that initial fear less girl khushi ..but later she would constantly interfere with his beliefs/ relationships/ parties.. it took her a long time to respect his core.. like when she told buaji its ok if he didn't like to wear the dhaga

Yes the topic is he being a beast, but the thing is there is a beast in every one.. and small or big.. isn't Anjali's obstinate denial devilish.. isn't Khushi/ gupta's silence dangerous.. where as only this man showed constant inner struggle and actions to correct himself.. and any growth!

He was realistic with all the humanly emotions.. certainly NOT mahaan...something endearing and relatable about him!

well said, horizon, yes, there's a beast in all of us. makes us human. makes us loveable and bearable if you ask me. made him endearing, undeniably so.

mahaanta is killing and does not exist in the real world... not the way we like to portray it in the media. actually the short dress wearing girl who had no problem with premarital sex had a a realistic dose of mahaanta in her.

i too wondered why she was willing to change everything about herself... did it go with her character or was it just a convenient way to move the scene of action to shantivan. but she seemed to have felt that for his fam's sake she wanted to try this out... somehow that made sense, especially given her longing for him and being completely aware that he did not feel that strongly for her. and thankfully she grumbled enough. 😆

i agree that dropping khushi from the office was one act of his i could never reconcile to... despite the goading and kkg's refusal to give in. but that was the thing i loved about the guy... he did make real mistakes. and he did do wonderful things too. human being.

and i did love his ability to think, pause, reflect, apologise.

kkg was not given her due at all. no introspection... huge problem. somehow she started coming across as a thing rather than a person at times. marionette. the word would come and go.

then there was mahaanta.
you see, i think there is this belief that we shallow women 😆 need to be told all the time we are mahaan and flawless, for us to sit and watch a serial in a dopey daze day after day. not a single serial heroine thinks and of course whatever she does is right. also it is always for the greater good, never does she want anything for herself... 😆. where do they get their idea of women from? even when she does wrong somehow it is right because she did it. also the amount of tears we like to see on our women... constantly sad music and sad face and tears. suffocates me.

there are women perhaps who like this sort of thing.

i am not one of them.

which is why, if kkg and asr had a right rollicking fight over bringing shyam back... and she'd flounced off but returned later and said sorry, she was not right or something... may have been normal.

actually diwali was good. both were equal somehow. and her aggression after the act... irritating but normal. they wrote that so well. she had to push him far enough for him to walk to la and say, "shadi kar raha hai."

kkg never looked weak in those days.

i will stop rambling.

when it really bothers me, i see kkg through asr's eyes. i see how she makes him feel, how she lights up his life, how he adores her and wants her no matter what, her sanka makes him free up inside and float, and i find myself letting go, not judging her too much, just taking her as she is.

i think sanaya irani is a pretty fine actor... i wish they had given her a truer woman to enact. today i'd be writing long rambles on the beauty of kkg then.

Dupatta is one of the elements which played an important role in their love story. These scenes are magical and like a fairy tale.

Gusts of winds flow away the duppata, blocking away the vision of lover and then he saw the most ethereal beauty, giving away his heart to her and stealing her as well.

Beautiful description of Khushi's awareness.indeed this is the only Episode where Khushi has been shown a mature in her thinking.She is verbalizing her feelings for him by realizing and retracing her steps in this process.Her mother's words are making sense for her because she knows even he is demon like in nature and attitude but he is and was there for her in trouble time ALWAYS.Now with the help of Anjali she will get back to his heart which has been covered with demonic dust and will be getting her promise into shape which she dreamed of while holding her mangalsutre.

in this whole episode ,this scene stands out for me.His restlessness speaks for itself that how much he has missed her.At this point 6 months are out of the picture.He is liking every goofy things she does or even puts him through because he never complains seriously specially after this.

Otherside she is missing him badly too."Kamal hai so gaye ," says a lot.She was expecting him to be waiting for.Both of them are looking for each other is another reason.

la was in away like asr... she was what she was... no hiding and wearing many faces. and she was not all "good" but she never bothered to camouflage that.

the first time i saw her, i thought, ah one of those typical hindi serial "bad " girls... flat and uninteresting. off the shoulder dress, sashaying walk, openly chasing her quarry... asr 😆. so baaad.

i did like that last bit though, as i never quite agree with typical stereotypical mating norms and games. i like women who are happy to go out there and try to get what they want. and take whatever comes with the territory.

then a few episodes later, after she had been blatantly nasty to khushi and called her chamkili, etc., she casually paid for the pizza khushi was in a tizzy about, pam and sim having put her in a spot.

that's when i sort of said, huh, there seems to be shades to this girl.

as the days went by, i have to say i warmed to this character. i did not agree with her being willing to change for asr's fam... even he didn't want it... but somewhere i could understand why she'd try to do that.

that asr did not feel the "thing" with her... happens, and that's fine. but she sensed him... pretty accurately most times. never judged him. the one time she got really mad at him, she left and refused to return., he did have to go and get her back...

nice.

asr had a lot of affection and respect for her.

and she got drunk and made a mess of things, waking up all apologetic and cringing... ha ha ha, she was a bit like me too.

a little shallow, pretty deep, happy, confident, generous, smart, what you see is what you get, nasty and territorial at times, completely flakepot at others, with lots of potential, and sharp at understanding her man (di might have taken some lessons from her...), she was interesting and real.

oh and i liked her saying she'd give kkg a dress like hers since she'd learbned to wear stuff like kkg. really, there were things la could have taught kkg too... but then she's the baaad girl, na? 😆

i have a feeling, since she was not the lead, and the "good" girl, writers felt no "pressure" while creating her and so ended up writing a pretty believable girl.

I love La for the real n sweet person she is. Maybe since I started watching IPK after Diwali when she had completely assimilated with the family and watched the earlier episodes much later, I found her meanness towards K unconvincing. Also her acting had evolved over that period. I may be trying to be too brave when I say that BS and Sana did make a pretty good pair. Despite of A's impassiveness towards La's advances, I could sense certain degree of chemistry. Now I apologize for any hurt or offense I might have caused.

However I find it hard to compare his relationship with these two women at equal terms as one was much more complex than the other. Its also difficult to keep a measure of who changed for whom and how much. By the time their Diwali romance peaked, K was aware of both his prince and beast side. During Payaash wedding she falls all over again for the beast and not exclusively the prince. Regarding A changing for K, it was not a big deal for him as he had already achieved the biggest deal of his life, KKG. I am not making any sense, sorry!

me like brave... every time i am, gets me flack but somehow i am happy i just did it any way.

yes, i too think asr and la made a good pair. asr certainly did not feel for her the things she felt for him. she knew it too, and was kind of chilled out about it. funnily, till khushi made her go push for more. i had serious reservations about that. needs a different chat.

asr's relationships with the two women were completely different really and i too never did compare... i also found the falling for kkg, getting completely attracted to her while he was still in a relationship... most human. and sort of beautiful. sucker for love me... i do believe this crazy emotion can happen and yes it catches you unawares and overrides almost everything. she was his biggest deal as you say. 😆

khushi was a believable and fairly individualistic character when we started out, smart, gutsy, rule breaker in her own way, willing to go out there and see the world for herself, take risks... she sensed him well, knew that the horrible man she'd met had also a beauty in him and she was attracted to him as he was... the whole jalebi feeding, nainital, post nainital, her running to him, his hand on her head... everything spoke of the two sensing each other at another level all the time, and then the pre diwali tender mad moments, fairy lights, coins, dust in the eye, jadoo tona, the intense almost physically present attraction of diwali... ohhh i am dying... they were both in it.

okay i am rambling... thing is, yeah, khushi had a real side to her and that made it all beautiful... even her overly interfering nature or her not telling him about shyam i could take, actually right up to 1 august and their inestimably wondrous fight i could empathise and feel her... then came dadi and a complete change in kkg... the night she rejected him by saying she was not his wife really, five minutes after saying she was and got ballistic looking at the radha krishna idol, the famously never officially married representatives of true love, that's when i think kkgsr was officially done in by her creators.

they made her mouth things like she didn't care that he had relations with other women before they met and things, but really, i hardly could feel her after that, except for the night at the farmhouse.

the khushi i knew would not have handled that night he'd set up the suhag raat like that. not after all that had happened between them. she was used to make way for the dadi factor and to work in a so called trp getting remarriage...i never felt ok with things after that, though i continued to watch and be happy with whatever i could get out of those 22 minutes. ipk had started mattering too much by then to just switch off.

i was a bit like la with asr... would take whatever i could get and be happy. 😆
