how many times he turned to look at her with eyes full of a pain that seemed to have no clear dimensions, it was just vast and it enveloped him, and a complaint maybe, how could you.
she couldn't look away. some part of her always knew things.
kya kar rahi ho tum, in that shaken voice. a man feeling ripped, shredded. a girl shattered by his rejection, his engagement... who somehow managed to survive it all and got engaged for the sake of her family, herself hurting so bad inside, yet chin up she carries on, doing her life, her duties.
and in a serial where attention to detail went missing after a point... in 124, there's still a remnant of her cut on the ring finger... as he tries to slip on the ring he must not.
a suggestion, that finger is already taken, long before any ring could get there.
and again, asr had taken things too far, whoever asks someone to hold there ears and say sorry? he was crossing the line as he often did with her, maybe because she broke through too many carefully constructed barriers of his. maybe because his way of loving was to show this right to do as he pleased. not politically correct but strangely exciting.
and again, the acting made sure i forgot his excesses and remembered only his love his feelings his desperate need.
above all, in these interaction a complexity... an understanding of the human mind and heart that is beautiful and thrilling.
just before the kya kar rahi ho tum, after the sudden spin to anger, his best defence, and "khushi!" there was a rousing, almost threatening, background music... a few notes on a sonorous instrument, a horn? strings? reminded me of star wars somehow though it most likely wasn't... but oh it all pointed to the volcano erupting.
a long episode, it had oo la la in it too... from the finer days of ipk. just doesn't wane.
