Just wanted to say that, doing it in public is very much illegal in almost all countries (except maybe in that one weird place in Florida), and you can get arrested for it. However, writing about it, isn't.

I propose calling it 'IT' should be illegal cos it presupposes that IT is a thing not to be talked about and something to be ashamed about leading to ill informed and even more curious kids who when trying to get answers to douse this curiosity are made to feel that IT is not something good kids ask and hence they resort to Google and who knows what they learn!

Sorry to butt in but a Coolbie can only sticky just their own updates in the forum,for which they have been promoted. They have no other moderating rights. They are promoted because they are appreciated for taking out their time and giving written updates daily.

After looking through all the links I have to admit this is down right wrong.😕 How can the runners of this site be so irresponsible when picking Moderators/coolbies.

I agree 100% with the topic maker and I'm very glad she's also made clear this is nothing against Appy either. It's her way of writing and we are not to judge but the Moderators present, BUT whoever decides to make members moderators/coolbies, more than anyone THEY should know themselves that to become a moderator/coolbie carries responsibilities and to follow the rules and if the moderator/coolbie isn't doing that themselves how are they allowed to make decisions for others!?!? It's head-shaking worthy!

Also, this post karna hain toh karo model has been tried and tested by a famous G. Hedge at one point of time. I am sorry to say, it is not a good enough answer. It gives off the vibe that we were good enough to post here, increase the number of post count and member count, which would undoubtedly be proportional to the profits received by it, but when we question a rule, it is something you do not want to get into and we can just leave if we don't like it?

If you want to make rules, explain the logic behind it. Is it because there are kids around? The minimum age for the website is 16, we have already dealt with that. If they are old enough to have sex, they are old enough to read about it. Any other reasons why "mature" content is banned here? If you don't wanna discuss it here, point to a thread where it has been discussed and I'll read it and get back to you.

Well, my take on this is that they have rules. We might not like those rules, but they exist. All I ask is that the rules be implemented fairly for everyone. .

I really have nothing to say about the mature content discussion and what's allowed and what's not. Like he's said- it's a policy decision and I'm willing to accept that. His website, his policy. Just make one rule and implement that for everyone- that will be enough for the moment. What's glaringly obvious is that some people get away with murder and others get no leeway. That's unfair.

I agree with what you said Maxine,the rules should be the same for everybody. But yes,regarding the posting of the content,I have to say that it is upto Vijay,whether to allow it or not because as you said,his website,his policy. Bold,I completely agree. Its unfair.

Thanks. I really appreciate your clarifying this. What's clear is that a Coolbie is over and above a regular member in terms of privileges. They've been promoted, so to speak. That implies they're a pretty stellar member- better than the regular members. I think it means they are liable to be held up to a higher standard than the rest of us.

And honestly, I can't say this enough number of times- this really isn't personal. I've got nothing against that girl. Absolutely nothing. I'm just making a point.

And if they choose to implement their rules better, I for one, am more than willing to be a model citizen.

Your welcome. Yes,what you say is completely right. Because they have been promoted,they are liable to be scrutinised more. No,I understand that you are just stating a general point and I do get what you mean ,it is just an example. I hope for the same too,that the mods make sure that the rules are followed by everybody. And also,I agree with your point that the mods can ask members to edit their posts instead of closing them immediately,it used to be done like that before..But Jot,moderator of FF forum is actually a very unbiased person,from what I have seen so I guess,if you take this up with her,she will deal accordingly.

wow I wake up to closed posts and questioning posts that the illusive Vijay (Bhai) has replied to. So I am guessing you ask Kostins that are worth answering...

At this point I'd like to appreciate one thing that this forum despite and in spite of its many discrepancies, weird rules and "moderators" who don't quite the meaning of "moderation" has been a place to meet and make good friends and enjoy some fantastic talent and humor.

Even after a year of a Show being dead the forum being in the archives it still being stringently moderated!!!!! wow now I don't know how to react to that...and in a reunion where ppl are catching up with what they are up to...post a show that united them...they are still supposed to talk about the show...errr and not come up with stuff that is "funny"...(is in quotes if you get my meaning or do I have to spell it out..er Moderator)

Max I was amused with choices for the dev team but I have been amused for a long time...

This is a private organisation and as such they are allowed to set up rules and conduct in the way they please...but VIJAY (as I guess the buck stops with you) would appreciate some transparency bro and also some more constructive dialogue not just this is what it is take it or leave it kind of thing...

So I guess there is so much I want to say and am just rambling I will close off by saying...as much as "moderation" has been questionable o this forum ...there have been Moderators that have more than fulfilled their duties and have been as diplomatic as ever with a sense of humor of their own.

I appreciate that this is done by volunteers (Vijay I have to congratulate you on this formula ...Business idea of the century) So Mods out there this is a conversation open to you

Hopefully we see dialogue between all of us..after all we all come here of our own free will and want to have a enjoyable time...
