I had been in a relationship for some time. Gosh there was too much pressure! Don't do this, don't wear this, don't talk with guys! so many commands, so many commitment Good lord, it's my life, let me lead it in my way. And i can guess what a married couple goes through. So until i turn thirty I'll not think about my marriage. pakkaa.

What if you find some one who loves you pretty much in every thing you do before that...
in any cloths you wear... with a skewed plait or open hair...if you are dancing or crying...if you are making the most sumptious pakodas or making a mess of everything around...
that not talking to other guys.. I am not so sure!!
Good luck!

Sorry to be a drag but...I don't know about you but the Holiday time makes me a little melancholy. I posted this on Faiqa's November 30 thread. Dedicated to all of us who have lost loved ones or friends this year. Without you girls I am not sure how I would have gotten through this loss. Thanks all. Love you.

Faiqa, As you know my mom passed away this year and you came to see me at the memorial service with Sigrid, it meant the world to me. Anyway, it is because of IPK that I see my mom and dad as stars in the sky! I will never forget IPK and now when I look up in the sky I feel/see my parents presence close to me.
IPK will never die for me.

The first spider still fascinates me. I haven't saw any serial beginning with such a fantastic and interesting episode.
Arnav Singh Raizada, one of the top businessmen, dashingly make his entry on the grounds of sheesh mahal. This place twelve years back created storm in the life of an innocent boy called Arnav. Here his mother suicided and his coward father killed himself when he was caught cheated on his family during the celebration of their daughter marriage. He was orphaned, shattered of his mother death and shocked of his father cheat, his sister marriage was broken, then his irresponsible grandmother left them, later their greedy uncle threw them out of their home. That day an innocent boy was transformed into a responsible, selfless brother for his sister and the only man of his remaining family, having one goal in his life, money.
Now he is back as a restless soul with different identity to claim back the place. It's pay back time.
Arnav scenes in the whole episode describe his attributes. He is void of emotions and acted as a ruthless businessman. He treated his uncle the same way he did and spoke his language. "Asool sirf bewakoofoon ke lye hotay hain".
Arnav Singh Raizada never loses his target, money isn't my hobby it's my profession.
Twelve years back this place turned Arnav's life outside down and now in the following night the same place will going mark a new chapter of Arnav Singh Raizada which will bring back the Arnav who was lost twelve years back.

Javeria, fantastic!
Yes that first spider, first cold look, first words from him.. first peep into his head/ heart.. everything masterely... a man walked onto Indian screens like NEVER before.. spine chilling!
Those last lines.. brilliant.. you summed it up so well.. yes thats why one has to search for something where it is lost!!
Beautiful Javeria. Look forward to more from you.

@Sohara,

Marriage is a beautiful commitment made by two people. You take the good with the bad, as far as possessiveness, well that's another story.
Soul mates/ twin flames find each other always. Don't worry, take your time and don't settle.😉

This is all Arnav and finding a guy like him is like finding a needle in a mess, nearly impossible though I would love to have a guy like him as a partner, don't we all want, no need someone like him.
I am just twenty and a half n I am not interested in any relationship for now but in future if I date, even the prospective groom which my family will choose, I won't mind changing my style and taste if I found the guy serious, responsible and willing to commit. But if I get a feeling that he is trying to manipulating me, taking me for granted and making companionship hard then I will farewell him Bus, end of the chapter. My friends dates and they are in mess because they find guys very moody and double minded. I am happy that I am free from now 😃
I wish for loads of Good Luck.

Javeria, our youngest blaster...all you young girls truly have a head firmly placed on your shoulders! great.
Yes, changing for some one one loves comes naturally, automatically. It becomes the most natural course then. Just that it shouldn't be imposed upon.
Good luck to you as well, yes I was hinting at Arnav only... mushkil hai.. but hopefully NOT impossible.

I had written this poem long back, before the wedding night episodes were posted. Wanted to wait till I posted the parody. 😊

The Long Night

A night when he felt deceited again
A night when she was left orphaned again
A night that was to be of confession
Turned out to be one of forced possession

The gloomy night turned longer
When kith and kin vent their anger
Many questions, but not a single reply
Many sobs, but no one to pacify

An injured heart set to correct things
A stern demeanor to the forth he brings
A call out to the evil in strife
'Stay clear, for now she's my wife'

Durga 😊

First , I like your Dp Merry Christmas and Happy new year to you too.Nice poem but The last underlined is the key and he will stick to it , now and forever. In anger, in hate, in love, no matter where and when but he will stick to it...She is MINE

Just like Amma said ...you learn these things after living with it , that kind a story...

faiqa,
i really appreciated what amma said. it is somewhere true and there's a very contemporary ring to it. i wonder who thought of the content of that line. there's a philosophical ring to it yet it's one hundred percent mother's advice. and so so true.

Mother's advice are significant, but boring also. faiqa, I sure will ponder your advice. @Indi

There are certain things go by natural process and nature never deceives you as it has been created for your benefit...it's us who bring disaster by changing it. Time teaches you a lot.One thing, which I noticed it as early marriage of a boy has a lot of benefits , the moment he is on his feet as he mingles into this color very well. The mature man always have an experience of a lot of STUFF which goes against you...Amma's words don't have any meaning for the second type species.Trust me.

@Sohara

Boring of course, this bak bak is boring yet useful.Promise me one thing, stay the way you are and never settle for less. As mothers say always jhukti tehni ko phal lagta hai...[The bent branch gets the fruit]...That is crap as tehni jhukti hai phal ki wajha se..[The branch bends because of fruit]...Jhuko bas uss zaat keh samne jisne paida kya hai...[Only bend in front of Almighty God]...Period.
