Nainital Trip continued...

It's the repetition of affirmations that leads to belief. And once that belief becomes a deep conviction, things begin to happen.The world we see that seems so insane is the result of a belief system that is not working and to perceive the world differently, we must be willing to change our belief system, let the past slip away, expand our sense of now, and dissolve the fear in our minds.Somewhat this message is screaming through these two epis.😊

Babuji's belief becomes more stronger about Scorpion's evilness after hearing his talk with RaniSahiba---as he promises to go for her.He follows Shyam and finds him in Mandir with Anjali which puts him for making assumptions with unanswered questions,Who is this woman---if she is client then why is he here with her...what is her relationship with him?????

His belief gets reality ,all of his assumptions and questions get answers today and Babuji finds out the biggest Truth of Scorpion"He is married "...His bracelet is so visible...Today a father's belief "Vishwas" shook off one more time but worse than first time ...What will be going on in his mind and heart only he knows or his God knows... I literally hated this guy for putting a father with this immense pain and agony----😡

Akash with bearing politeness calls Payal to seek apology for what his mother did whose assumptions and disbelief about Payal gives him courage to tell his mother that "you are impossible" and money does not determine respect or character of anyone as his belief and assumptions are based on true real facts and not on false assumptions or I should say assumptions of her own experience as she did the same with Mamaji as a gold digger.

Naniji really takes this Fox down properly as she knows how Mamiji entered her son's life.So proud of Naniji."Truth is always bitter but always right"

Arnav keenly observes her each move while she gives her winner look.The amazing thing is he smiles each time when she smiles,her happiness and childish innocent moves give him relief [as"Tumhare saath bitaye huwey moments yaad rehne lag gaye"] as it takes him away from his bitterness.He hides his smile right away when she notices it -----uhhh Akhroo! and here comes Arnav's naughty brain into action as "aagar Shadi aaj hui hai tou Suhag raat bhi aaj hi ho gi...kyun theek kaha na mein ne"[If we married today then our SR will be today]-------Khushi's fears are at the peak and he enjoys every bit of it.---Tit for tat-" You started this drama ,I'll finish it" He grabs her hand as this is his right and she does not stop him either...He picks her up and Khushi's plea goes down in the noise-----

PONDERING Connecting Dots:Arnav always smile when Khushi smiles as he was happy seeing her dancing and the same is during Payesh wedding and same is during their Roca ceremony.

PONDERING MOMENTO:This is Raizadas's tradition to pick up their bride to bring em in the bedroom and he is doing this right now so officially this is their SR#1 incomplete though but who cares when they were married they had incomplete that is our IPK tradition .SR is improperly placed before SR. ahem ahem------

He slams her on the sofa---Khushi,"yeh kya badtamizi hai"

ASR "Shhh"[Why this shhh is so sweet]with loud BG score,"Chup...bilkul Chup--------waise tou tum hamesha se itni badtameez ho par aaj tum ne hud kar di ...

Translation: quiet..you have no manners at all but today you've crossed all the limits..

I never thought that after pulling that cheap stunt you will have guts to tell me that I'm "Badtameez"-He intimidates her by moving forward and she steps backward..waise tou mein tum se phele bhi keh chuca hoon ...par tumhari bhalai keh liyeh dobara keh deta hoon---Badtameezi par tou mein utra nahin-aur jis din-----[Itold you this before and now telling you again I never crossed my limit but if I do-----]

Khushi did not let him finish his sentence ,"par hum ne yeh sab.."[I did all this ---]

ASR,"Shut up! Who told you that I want to listen to you-I don't want to see you, or hear you...just go away before I woke up ...I don't care where you go and what you do-I don't give a damn

Connecting Dots: He intimidated her the same way he did in Sheesh Mahal, at Dugha, but this dialogue will come back when he will jump out from the closet to re live the moments with her. Love that momento...

He slams the door without listening her.Lights go off and Khushi curls her up on the sofa by wrapping her fears in the dark, alone room with no stars just with her pure pearls, her tears and her DM----"Raksha karna DM"

PONDERING Connecting Dots: This is the beginning of her worse Suhaag Raat as today she is sitting abandoned by him outside the room without blanket ,in the dark, without his presence visibly--------During forced marriage she will be dragged outside the room without blanket(first) and will be curled up and this moment will urge him to throw the blanket at her and he will be visible with lights on so she won't be scared .The connection after sharing her insecurities the other night with him only piles up and remains always fresh in his head even in his hate state.

Day starts by refreshing Arnav's memory with one name "Khushi" and last night words make him mortifies with his own actions .He gets relief seeing her in the room but His perturbation and perplexity increases by finding out she spent the cold night alone in the dark and reverberation of her painful words increase his distress .He steps forward to wake her up "Khushi" but her unconscious hot head falls on his hand and his strife goes to uneasiness after finding she has fever.RabaVe rubs in with his pain

He picks her up and brings her to the bed but her hand as always holds on to him ."Hey Hey Raba Ve intimates their moment now with piano tone[my fav]as This does not go unnoticed by him .He removes her hand gently by looking at her regretfully and lovingly at the same time.

PONDERING Connecting Dots:She held his collar in guest house incident and now again-----this shows her dependence on him consciously or unconsciously and today he knows that ...it will be biggest realization for him after kidnapping while saving her at the cliff that she is not holding his collar even in her unconscious state which makes his belief shakes that day--

Auntiji increases his vexation by telling him her fever is due to cold which puts him in agony as because of his anger she has to suffer.Now you know Akhroo she was right"in anger your brain does not work"...He wakes her up for meds and she calls for her parents-he gulps down this pain as he truly knows what is she be going through...He helps her getting up and taking her meds with the immense concerns and care while holding her milk[just like a father takes care of his child] did not go unnoticed by her either-------

Symbolism and connection:Milk is a food and gift of God and it also symbolizes leaning towards someone and it also represents beloved life.Its white color represents purity

Connection:Khushi is Arnav's beloved life as "Khushi mein tumhare bina nahin jee paoonga" Khushi's and Arnav's love is pure and as Arnav is giving her milk HE IS LEANING towards her but slowly...Koi Shaq

Welcome to yet another edition of Reflections, don't u just love the dhabba' episodes .. Poona & Arshi thanx for bringing them to life for us with ur incredible writing. So it's Q & A again today ... yea looks like I am writing thru the week these days ... J

Do you think, Arnav's was softer to Khushi after the Holi Confession that her heart bear runs faster when she is closer to him. I think this was one of the FB's he gets at the airport when he decided to go back to Khushi.

My Take ...

Arnav's marrying Khushi was his knee jerk reaction ... as soon as she fell in front of him in their room & said I am once again an ORPHAN ... he melts ... he realizes THE MAGNITUDE of HURT he has caused ...

Now lets look at the marriage ... the entire family even the mousy Payal is miffed & pissed with them .. but Khushi being the more easy target she is the one who is facing the wrath ... Khushi with the soft heart is bravely facing the blows ... specially the ones coming from NANI ...

Now lets just rewind to a bit ... Arnav brings La home ... connect the dots isn't this exactly the same .. without the consent of the family he THRUSTS la on them ... BUT he does not lift a finger to help her adjust nor does he fight with NANI .. for her ...

Now lets look at the marriage .. he FORCES KHUSHI on them as his BRIDE ... but he MAKES THEM FORCEFULLY ACCEPT HER AS HIS BRIDE as well ... he says U ACCEPT OR I WALK ...

Now lets look the first night ... the night after grih pravesh ... & when he throws her out of the room .. (cause he sees SHyam lewdly eyeing Khushi .. which ups the anger quotient) he struggles with himself ... & finally offers her his own blanket ...

BUT BUT BUT .. the most telling scene is .. HE DOES NOT SLEEP ON THEIR BED TO ...

She rejects the blanket & is suffering in COLD .. he too does not use the BLANKET .. so while he makes her suffer .. he does SUFFERS RIGHT ALONG WITH HER ...

The moment she fell on her knees in front of him crying about being an ORPHAN yet again he has softened ...

Now u will ask why the elaborate ruse .. why the rudeness ... my ques is .. WHEN WAS HE NOT RUDE to her??? ... lets look at the new year sequence .. after he nearly caresses her on the bed .. he starts firing her .. & being downright obnoxious with her .. COZ that's his shield ... its that .. or run after her begging for a kiss ... 😉

But The HOLI SEQUENCE ... humari dhadkane ek ho jaati hai" ... that is the time their feelings are out in the open .. they both accept they AFFECT each other ... .. it was the balm to his soul .. that she was AFFECTED BY HIM too ...

Now lets reconstruct this scene .. u have KHUSHI ask the question .. why is it that when u r close by ... my heart beats go haywire my breath runs a marathon ???

Now note once again it is KHUSHI who takes the step to PUSH him in the courtship ... she takes the relation to the next realm ...

BUT she just asks the questions & says she is affected by him ...

BUT .. Arnav actually says I LOVE YOU ... when he says its cause our heartbeats mesh & we become one soul ...

The reason this FB was shown ... is cause this is a moment of pause for him .. their closeness .. not just in opening their hearts ... but in the pool side tender moments ... is something which makes him doubt what he had seen ... if he believed that their heart beats accelerated when they came close .. since they were one in soul .. then what he saw on the terrace belies that .. this is the conundrum he is fighting with ... this is his inner struggle ... He was sure she loved him .. but then he saw her in the arms of Shyam .. asking for a divorce ... But then she goes saying he affects her ... something Arnav pre marriage completely believed in ... BUT BUT BUT ... there was a flicker of doubt in HOLI ...

She melted in his arms that day ... but the doubt of inebriation clouded the issue .. .was she speaking from the heart or was it the bhaang' .

Its his one shining beacon in the darkness that was their marriage that all was not LOST .. hence the FB of the same when he is in his darkest moment ...

I have another silly question ...what if Arnav never told Khushi his reason of marrying her before the 6 months contract period was over. Would he have just continued to live with her? Would Khushi have left him? After the Shyam debacle, why no one tried to confirm it with the Guptas? Why were they kept out of this loop?

Ok for the first bit ... Why Arnav never told Khushi about the reason he married her ...

Well have discussed this at various points over here ... SINCE he believed KHUSHI was in LOVE / AFFAIR with SHYAM ... which was ratified by SHYAM ... he never confronted her ...

Have often enuf said .. the problem for Arnav was not that he did not CARE .. but that he cared too DEEPLY ... the man loved with full abandon ... the fact that he loved Khushi ... she had become his life ... was rudely snatched out from under him .. when he saw the terrace fiasco .. How does such a man ... who has a MONUMENTAL EGO .. walk up to the person he LOVES .. just to hear .. THAT SHE LOVES SOMEONE ELSE ... ITs his fear of ABANDONMENT .. which makes him shut his mouth ... the fact that REALITY would shatter his heart once again .. once again he would be left on the wayside ...

Well his EGO & HEART had taken a huge enuf beating that day already ... he was NO WAY GOING TO ASK HER to confess ... he would not be able to handle that reality ...

Have u noticed how many times he tells her .. I know who you want to be with ... What about the hurt u have caused me .. U wont be able to stay with him ... & so on ...

Its the jealous ... egotist ... heartbroken man .. who could not face up to his worst fears ...

Would he have continued to live with her ... ? OFCOURSE !!!...

Isnt that what the promise in GH is all about .. when after Preeto Shaadi & he witnesses the Garima Khushi scene ... he gets up in the night ... relives what he has done .. relives each one of her dialogs to her mom ... & then finally goes to bed .. HOLDS HER HANDS ... ITS HIS PROMISE of forever ...

Now go back to the scene in GH when those ladies of the neighbourhood come over .. they bless the couple of a forever ... U see Khushi blanch at first .. then when she & Arnav walk away .. stop & look at each other .. There is a question .. a plead ... an accusation ... an entreaty .. all in KHUSHI's eyes ... she wants him to agree that this marriage did not have an end date hanging on its head ...

The entire GH stay was an awakening for Arnav ... he realizes what he has done .. cannot be undone .. whatsmore he does not want to undo ... their lives were meshed .. they were for whatever reason ONE ...

Now just to play devils advocate .. lets imagine the truth did not come out in the middle of the road ... how would Arnav keep her with him ?? .. he would orchestrate another contract .. slightly more long term this time ... till such time that she willingly stays with him ...😉 😛

Now about Khushi .. well she did her nautanki routine' of leaving him ... but deep down .. she was committed to the man ... for her the sindoor & mangal sutra tied her to him forever .. so even if she made drama's to go .. she would inadvertently come back to him

BUT Yes KHUSHI would've left him till such time that Arnav would not orchestrate another contract with her .. KHUSHI had to leave ... coz that's the only way she could prove that she was NOT A GOLD DIGGER .. the one BLAME he LOVED apportioning on her ...

Only her strength of her feelings would tie him to her .. not money ..

Lets look at the Shyam debacle ...

The only 3 people who knew of the Gupta involvement were KHUSHI , PAYAL, ARNAV ...

Then they brought in Nani ...

PAYAL then brought in Akash ...

Mami & ANji still remained clueless to the extent of Shyam's betrayal ...

Mami was inconsequential in the scheme of things ...

ANJALI ... after the showdown .. the woman went to the rails ... she tried to kill her own child .. she went thru severe depression .. was it not just enuf that SHYAM was out of her life ... by raking in the whole sordid past .. was it doing anyone any favors ... that's the thot of Arnav ...

NOTE they still don't know the extent of EVILNESS in SHYAM ...for them his crime was ADULTERY & GREED till then ...

What if in the whole scheme of things .. the family turned against Gupta's .. they were part of the betrayal to right .. if KHUSHI was the culprit so were the GUPTA's more so since they did not want her to OPEN up about SHyam ... they were equally to blame ..

What would happen .. 2 families would disintegrate ... the girls would be forced to take sides .. mami would be even more acerbic .. Anjali could even further go off the rails by the magnitude of deception ...

wasn't this a simple CONTAINING THE DAMAGE ...

The other main reason for the GUPTA's not to in the loop was ...

The moment the GUPTA's would be added to the mix .. the reason for ARNAV & KHUSHI's marriage would be out ... that day would have to be reconstructed ...

Both Arnav & Khushi went thru personal hell for 6 months to HIDE & to obliterate this from their family .. they set up an elaborate ruse .. they built the happy sandcastle ... would that not break ????..

Personally .. for me this was the best way ... cause the moment Gupta's would be involved .. KHUSHI's MONUMENTAL SACRIFISE would be out as well ...

WHAT IS A SACRIFISE if u have to SPEAK ABOUT IT ... it then sounds like A FAVOR ...

Now just for a bit .. go to the second show down with Shyam .. when he is finally exposed for all his bad deeds ...

Not for a moment is Khushi's father brought in ... nor is there a mention of SHYAM's lust & obessession with KHUSHI ... can u imagine an entire family ... has to sit & listen about their favored BAHU ... as an object of LUST of a man ... thats beyond sordid ... it would cheapen the script to a normal saas bahu saga ... ewww

That would cheapen the story .. that would cheapen the love .. that would cheapen the characters called ... ARNAV & KHUSHI

Its for this reason .. that the makers never used Khushi's babuji .. in their reveal ...

But Khushi did get her vindication ... it is one of the best scenes of IPK ... when Anji comes to Khushi after she burns Shyam's relics down ... & apologises ... & embraces her ... & whats more Thanx her for protecting her ... there was absolutely no more need for anything .. this was giving dignity ... giving the respect .. whatsmore giving the LOVE to the one person who suffered nearly as much as Anjali ...

That day she once again became the elder sister she was .. just like she was when she confronted Khushi on her engagement ... that was ANJALI travelling the full circle ...

During the second marriage Anjali accepted Khushi as her sister in law ... but that day she hugged Khushi like a sister ... & the scene is complete when u see Arnav standing by .. with a smile on his lips .. a tear in his eyes ... ALL Was FINALLY WELL IN HIS WORLD ...

The pain and deep convulsion is right there...she was just proving him his point that it's not money she is with him which he accused her of all the time ...

He would have a new clause in the contract or what ever ...and have his biggest deal with him for forever
