Ego is when a writer decides to stop writing here (here means IF) as there are no enough comments when compared to the earlier chapters. Reasons for lesser comments may be due to the story losing its plot or the writers' high- handed behavior.
Ego is when 2 people don't agree to disagree.
That way ego is both ways. When an author shows her egoistic side, a reader becomes silent. When a reader is egoistic, he/she is silent. So both ways well they are silent! It doesn't matter. Their wish :)
Recently, through the TM, I came to know that stories which gets more than 20 pages of comments are considered popularThis thread isn't for discussing the benchmarks for popularity. May be this can be discussed elsewhere.
