ASR did many unpardonable things to Khushi. Thankfully, slaps and hardcore physical violence was not shown in IPK. That would have been disgusting. I may not be here, discussing IPK today.

Having said that, no amount of man-handling - be it a simple shove, a forceful handhold or a full fledged is acceptable. It is wrong on every level, and the producers, channels (especially a certain one ironically advertising 'Nayi Soch') etc, should know that better than us.

The worst part of all this is that these cruel acts are romanticized. I haven't seen the show you are referring to but I remember in IPK.. Khushi was shown many a times looking fondly at ASR's finger marks left on her shoulders, hands etc with Rabba Ve playing in the background.

If only, our opinion could make a difference. 🥱

physical abuse is anytime not pardonable !!

but seeing the characters written today who just slap the female leads, makes me think ASR was anytime a better version

No thrice 😆 But ASR has manhandled Khushi & verbally abused many times, which is not acceptable... Still the pain in his eyes when he does such actions, made me love him despite all... And the way Khushi stood again him, made me love her...
