Hey! Thank You so much for your comment and also for the information. I will not even pretend to know about such laws but what I wanted to portray here (and what the doctor resounds) is that due to some complications, the child has a better chance at survival than the mother and hence the doctors would work according to that. Hope it is clearer now but once again thank you :)

By 'funny' I did not mean 'humorous', not at all. I meant a mood which I cannot describe exactly...a strange mood, a weird one.

Ok. I was wondering if you write such heart-wrenching and tough one-shots in funny mood, what would you write if you're actually in a serious mood. 😛
After reading this OS I remembered 'Papa Raizada' and the happily ever-after to overcome this. 😊
