I always thought that scene had something raw, animal like passion about it and for some strange reason, this is my favourite scene ever. Funnily there is nothing in it that you can classify under the formulae for hot scenes, yet, as you say it is the hottest scene on earth ! What a heart stopping, knee weakening scene, every single time I feel my cheeks unashamedly heating up 😳. Whoever conceived the idea of this scene needs a standing ovation. I'm not even going to start talking about the actor. More than the looks, the sexiness, the hotness, the genuine goodness of the person that is reflected in Barun's eyes, I think that's what gave the edge to Barun while playing ASR.

I so agree with you on angry love. Though the sweet, calm, lovable kind of love is why people want to fall in love, somehow I can never relate to it. Anger, fire, passion, hurt, tears, arising from deep feeling of need, care and responsibility that is never expressed but felt in abundance is mera wala love, the ASR-Khushi kind of love. For me, it always felt right.

Mazaa agaya aur mera hogaya ! Kya hogaya? Patha nahin kya par kuch tho hua 😉

i'm so sorry you went through such a time in your life where you took such a drastic step at such a tender age, and i'm so glad that you txted your sis. Look life is hard, and harder on some of us than others,but it is oh so precious. I'm glad that you see that now. should things feel so endless again, please remember how loved you are and how special you are. I try not to presume how a person i never met, but i seem to always get strong vibes about people and the vibe i always got about you is that you are a very smart, a very mature for you age (amongst a bunch of us here that refuse to act their age)...and a very talented young woman. and the way we always get an honest feedbacks for our writings speaks volumes about the strong head you have on your shoulders...also every task that you have taken on for the thread you do with full responsibility...I remember when you decided to do collages of each episode, it was just out of appreciation for those of us who had started writing...so selfless and so so sweet...honey you are much too valuable and not just b/c of what you do for this thread and us but dare i presume... it must give us a glimpse of how invaluable you are to thos around you. we love you dear, if you ever need to talk, you know where to find me.

meri suaten...har baat mein compete karn zaroori hai kya? (must you compete with me with everthing?) aap ko bhi ASR wala sugar bimari? (you've got the ASR desease?)...WHAT THE! you really could've left me alone with him on that one...no really! well i could really lecture you but lately i have been really bad at managing.. .though when i go check its much better than it was during pregnancy. do take care of yourself, i see lots of pointers from others, so got some advise myself 😉...keep away from jilebis and other fried sweets...sadly i'm like Barun and not a big fan of sweets but still got the ASR bimari..thanks togenes. low carb high protien seemed to be the mantra from my dietician...for a vegetarian foodie, its a prison sentence but hope its easier for you. wlll check in here and there...lets beat this thing, hum hongey kamiyaab just like our man said with a little will power, its now big deal

so agree with your pov on the angry love... and the actor.

i wrote to sohara i think, the writing was inventive, the direction was carefully conceived, but uff the acting. and exactly as you mention... nothing about anything felt sleazy or dirty... the sheer goodness of the character/actor shone through each time. both actors were so expressive of something sensual in these moments yet in the purest and best way, as though reaching out and tugging at our positive sexual instincts rather than the darker side of it... it was really intriguing...

and yes even now, when i watch, my heart, my ears, upper arms, sides of shin, pit of stomach, everything registers the asr khushi saga. 😆 i am still going awww or feeling heat creep up... hogaya mera bhi...🤣

hey ami,

you still here? how goes? waiting to put up the drools... about diabetes... i have too little knowledge, though my mother did have it and constantly ignored all signs, called it "sugar" so i thought yeah, must be. till much later. the repercussion on ones system is bad. i believe a huge diff between type 2 and the genetic one. well... i wonder why it's on the rise... signs of a destryed food system likely... while we are all blaming ourselves and going nuts. and a disappeared sense of being anchored to something other than the purely material... oh that's a really bad one i feel.

then the stress.

everyone is so tense. everywhere.

wasn't this supposed to be the better world?

i am frankly, as they say, done with all of this tamasha. to me the most important thing is, will asr kiss khushi or not... and if he does will it reach my ears in a shot of heat or my shin in goosebumps.

i know i sound insane.

this is what oi wrote earlier in a reply...

best of all, it was always an elevating feeling... as though the the most wonderful parts of our own sensual nature, our own cravings and fantasies had been touched, not the darker bits, which i am sure we all have to some extent, consciously or subconsciously. which is why when there's talk of fifty shades and asr khushi in the same breath, sort of bothers me... haven't read it, but instinct says, they are in no way the same things

even now we are discussing a scene from 21 september last year... most of us here exposed to much more sexually obvious stuff in our lives. says something about that "mother of the hottest scenes" assertion huh? 😆. that vision of them i my head, drives me crazy at times. i hope some day we will acknowledge this was art... albeit tucked away in a murky tv serial.

oh and i am so dying to write a piece on what happened after the dori was opened... if i ever express it to my satisfaction, with intimacy in words that are asr khushi truly, will pm all of you.

I love what you say about IPK appealing to the positive side of our sensual feelings, very true. In a world where we are constantly exposed to "bold" scenes in the name of progressive cinema, the scenes in IPK were far, far more sensual and boiling hot ! Film makers should learn a thing or two from IPK. It might sound ridiculous but the scenes of those days when two flowers were shown together to indicate that a kiss had happened seemed more interesting because it left a lot to imagination ! I would still prefer those scenes to the ones we get to see in movies/serials today and that's not because I think talking about sex is a taboo, there was something more respectful to the intimacy between two people in those scenes. IPK hit the right note there, we could see and feel the sexual tension all the time without them showing even a single scene showing the obvious !

IPK and Fifty Shades? No way !! I just read a few pages and threw the stuff away. Can't even imagine taking ASR's and Grey's name together.

It definitely was art, why would we lose ourselves in scenes where the leads just kept looking into each other's eyes for 2 minutes !

Would love to read what happened after the dori was untied, do write ! Having said that, the way the hand moved up to the dori and the way the dori was silently untied, it spoke volumes, we really didn't need anything more to know what happened, did we?

speaking of the two flowers days... they did teach us to read signs well... seems whole forum was unsure if they'd done it or not... no question in my mind though. just a happy sigh.

so lovely that acceptance.
