It was very heartfelt. I always loved the tortured soul of Arnav Singh Raizada! It is what made me love him despite his faults. It is the same thing that made Khushi love him.

Those eyes that speak volumes. The literal window to his soul. The mouth that spouted harsh words to hide the soft heart it held within. ASR was a beautiful creation. I never get tired of reading about him.

Loved the OS! :)

Indi is this your closure to his entire past...his troubles ...his insecurity abt bein his dad nd losin mom??

i hope it is...it was well written...i honestly liked the end bit wher he lays on the poolside , she comes over nd he just asks her abt his darkest fear but her answer to his worry was really somethin...it was different nd new...he was no Arnav Malik...he is nd will forever be Arnav Singh Raizada lik you've said

their cute bed scene ...😳 nd Khushi prayin tht hopefully tomorrow will be better day...very nice 👏

thanks for reading. so glad you liked how khushi reacted to him.

about a closure to his ast... i personally feel it's part of his life it will never really go away... just that as he feels his own love and being loved, he will start looking at it a little differently, asking questions even where he'd bottled up before.. trying to let it just be there not hamper him, but will it end? i don't think so. there will always be dark days for asr. just fewer. let's hope.

Arnav- humara ocean- has so much depth it's amazing! We talk everyday, we swoon over him, engage in his every word, defend his every move, and we die just looking and looking...but we can never get enough of the man. You have him drive that SUV in the rain - you describe it so gorgeously - and I'm in!
I could go anywhere with this man but if you, my personal ocean 😆 of words and feeling make it happen, in the way you just did, that blue black road, a ribbon stretching on, and a car gleaming white against the rain drops, speeding...then I'm in hook, line, sinker!!

Beautifully described Indi! The 14 year old dashing past the stairs and corridors to that terrifying scream was so vivid... becoming Arnav Singh Raizada, the one who still has to run in the dark of the night past everything he knows...that was just something else. And I was in tears with him at the poolside agonizing over leaving his bride out in the cold. Heart was wrenched!!
I only wished it had lasted longer...just a wee bit...his teasing her about trespassing pala was adorable...and so were her thoughts. I wanted to stay with them in the moment...can i ever get enough? Hai.

awe so sweet ...starting from the begining the ambiance u have created was awesome...rain ,darkness ,his speeding drive,his inner turmoils...the way he broke down...wow

and then the relaxing part seeing khushi and a small smile appears on his face ...khushi giving him soothing words and in the end that pala ...:)...loved it dear

thank you, issk, i am thrilled to read, red is going where i take her with our man. you like that ribbon line... unconsciously perhaps i brought in aword from a rather lovely love poem about the outlaw and the innocent daughter of the innkeeper... highway man by alfred noyes.

starts:

the wind was a torrent of darkness among the gusty trees.

the moon was a ghostly galleon tossed upon cloudy seas.

the road was a ribbon of moonlight over the purple moor,

and the highwayman came riding—

riding—riding—

the highwayman came riding, up to the old inn-door.

there is a touch of asr khushi perhaps in that tale too. the idea of a dark but driven, passionate man and an innocent untouched woman with a crazy love for her dark man, something elementally exciting there.

and i so do agree with you, the tale should have lingered a bit longer or withdrawn a couple of lines sooner. thanks for sensing it so intuitively. muaaah.
