samin ,everything will be fine...Does she have fever with it...If she does not have infection or fever then it's OK some kids grow these lymph nodes while they are growing and these go away eventually...because my younger one had it as he is growing fast about his age..he s 14 and more than 6 feet so he has those growing pains along with these but he started these nodes when he was 9 and now these are gone...so don't panic everything will be fine as you are giving good news she does not have infection.

^Samin, I could relate with your concerns! I'm taking my little one to his pediatrician tomorrow to check on his nodes behind his neck! A couple months ago, he had a swollen node under his jaw! That was due to infection because he had a cold thereafter! My boy has always been underweight and skinny so his nodes are more prominent! I'm getting him check out just to safe and for my peace of mind as well as all the grandparents!

Hang in there Samin and take care! 🤗

Kat This is the one who has Asthma..then don't worry at all ,under jaws these nodes are due to those stupid Asthma meds...Trust me as I told you my older one has improved much after turning 14...now he is 18...so until 14 I have these under his jaws more than 5 times...one time he was quarantined because of the fear of tetanus .yeap...I have seen all...

You and samin I totally relate with you both ...hang in there ..right words Kat and samin..everything will be fine...

Oh my dear friend you always bring tears to my eyes! It seems like I am home when you talk/ write. I don't know it seems so crazy yet so familiar. Weird, Yar? I hope you danced your heart out and enjoyed. So happy you are sharing this with your daughter too! we miss you here although your presence is still with us. Cherish those memories, the good, the bad and the ugly too! Although it sounds like there are only good looking Delhi boys there! I am dreaming of India.🤗

hello, mere yaars, and i don't get yaara so shall stick to '70s school lingo. on 12 july, without realising it is my mom's death anni, i had this terrific desire to see the first home i ever lived in... my grandparents' place in the heart of govt dilli... tughlak road, and also go to the place just a road away (most accessible through the back gate, and alley behind, tiny sweet shop on the way where you got light green blue pink d-shaped lozenges, lethally delicious), birla house, where gandhiji fell to godse's bullet with that "he ram" on his lips. during the couple of month long annual jaunts to dilli from assam when i was a kid, we'd often go there to play... the green lawn, the little memorial with the prominent "he ram," the red stone covered pavilion with gandhi ji's story on the walls, what happy memories there and always that sense of drama and moment in the air.

had to show my daughter that. so i did, and she seemed moved, now there's a museum and stuff there... in my memories a simple birla house. today, 15 july, i meet the boy who used to often be a part of the gang of kids invading holy ground... raju, the peon's son who made super good and is now a successful business man. he's 55, i'm 53, yet we both sort of felt like kids of 6 and 8. i said, wouldn't you be part of the group that went to birla house. he said, there was that back gate... and the shop, now there are so many... it was such a great place...

that's what delhi has for me.

and so many people who are no longer there, yet still are. this includes the boy i had a secret crush on in school and changed my bus stop for. he married my best friend's sister (but naturally)... two days back i had lunch with my friend, her sister, and mom. this lovely boy has passed away many years now... in the middle of lunch we chatted about my little passion... we all loved and missed him, yesterday i took a quick look at the tree by the masjid off pandara road, where the bus came every morning, and i'd silently adored a young delhi boy... so so hep and mills and boon.

delhi has become another planet, now i go to ramprasth across jamuna for weddings. or gurgaon (which was a gaon/village) to meet a friend. yet somehow that city of mine is here. i dislike so much of it at a rational place, yet i can't help but love it, despite the chaotic "guest house" in the ncr i had a little rendezvous with.

a stiff whisky down, i ramble. but it's hot and july, and all the ice cream vendors are out in india gate, i need an orange bar and a choc bar. tomorrow shopping for my daughter in connaught place. many things may have changed, but you still get the best clothes here, and the best looking boys too.

thanks for letting me go on. it's been so long.

i was part of baraat/bride groom's side last night... wore shiny sari, loads of jewellry, and danced on the the road with raju or shamsher or whatever band playing the raucous, out of tune, hindi film music played by such bands at most weddings. i am usually found laughing at this whole shenanigan; last night, i was the one laughed at... yet i was in happy land, shaking shoulder, flailing arms, being really loud, a natural street dancer i tell ya.

Indi my rambler...how can I thank you ...in your writing I can feel and see with brimming tears everything what I have been missing...don't care what how it has been changed because the essence is always there...

Reminding me my sis wedding...exactly street dancers and mehndi functions all night with loud music and all heavy dresses...seriously have fun Indi...Can you bring some pics...random of Delhi spots...

Arshi, sorry for that misinterpretation. Not sure why I thought you were referring to Khushi. But yes Anjali has been shown to contemplate over it very well here and also much during that Shyam engagement ring buying lies to her. She was indeed a different character from who she was initially and I am sure CVs had some thing else in mind that time or rather they kept their options open about her character. Unfortunately later on they have settled down for the weakest/ dumbest possibility of all. We all craved to see a strong Anjali, she finally did emerge that way but not before killing her initial character.

Post kidnapping track, Anjali's viewpoint didn't make sense at all. You were right that from a POV of she making every one dance to her tunes Khushi bringing back may make some sense but if she was unsure of Shyam's duplicity or was rather in denial of it deliberately she shouldn't be fine Khuhsi living under the same roof. You know it would have been rather convincing , if she had asked ASR to leave Khushi. How she was shown post kidnap, she simply was NOT the lady who initially was very concerned and had hard time settling things between nani and ASR when he brought La into RM.

Yes, remember that Khushi/ buaji dragging box scene and thanks for giving some symbolism to it and yes there are many like that with every one including Khushi involved. I thought almost all the scenes where ASR was there, at least up until their first marriage were intense and always carried deep meaning unlike that gift scene here. thanks for the meaning you poured from that scene.
I know you are quite busy lately, hope you are enjoying your time with your sister. If and when you get a few min, can you write about the ASR intro scene?

In black Horizon absolutely it would make sense but that was her game...when Arnav tells her he loves Khushi ,did u see her happiness...it's not because of her Chote happiness,..it was because her brother would do anything to keep Khushi and now she can get back her Shyam and right next day she was calling him...She wants Khushi righi next to Arnav so Khushi will be the reason Shyam will be in this house but next to her ,and that shows how weak and ill thoughts she has in this love of that creep...Arnav was right later Pyar kissi ko itna andha kar daita hai...yes she was ...Anjali opens her eyes when her transformation occurs from a lover to a mother and then Bang...because now it doesn't matter who the heck he is ..all Love and affection for that guy diminished away instantly...

OK in that scene Arnav..hmmm what I got during that gaze he feels her uneasiness when she can't say apki sagai hai then she adds mera matlab hai aap dono ki...and he knows her feelings exactly ..the very same way when she says near poolside aapki sagai ho na ho mujhe koi fadak nahin padta...and he was measuring her expecting her to admit...over here again he is doing the same yet this time he wants to say somehting but Khushi is being called but seconds before...when he holds the gift and she rambles how he has changed blah blah ,he is in deep thinking and then just give intense gaze...two reasons for not saying anything to her...1st acc to him she is engaged...2nd regardless she is he knows she has feelings for her but not sure how far she can go with it and that's why when Anjali and Nani asks him later he turns his face and says ..bata daita agar...I can't Di and he also mentions jiss feeling keh bare mein mein khud assure nahin usse kaise itni badi commitment de daita..he referring La yet explaining his state completely for Khushi as always...

Then he trails her while looking at gift and did you see a spark on his face like he wants to hold on it and has determination to do something to bring those feelings out of her as he knows he is reason to suppress these on Diwali night and after regardless he said sorry...or the care and concerns in between em...AND that's what reflects when she tells him later about her broken engagement and there is a small smile and then fades away as he is not sure about her feelings because he gulps down the pain when she describes all her condition about koi aisa ladka ...he can see how badly he has hurt her on Diwali night and broke her trust...OK I hope my Blah Blah made sense to you. This all my POV no offense to any one...

Thank you ARSHI and Kat. I was so worried since I palpated that node on her hand. I had absolutely forgotten that this was also sometimes part of development. Silly me. I think when the issue comes to our own children all medical knowledge bids goodbye. Thanks I think I will relax a little. Hope it gets smaller by next week's ultrasound. It is on her elbow and nodes in neck and around that area actually can get bigger due to tonsilitis AStma and a lot of things however on the elbow there are only four choices- infection, lymphoma, sarcoidosis and tularemia. I am thinking between tularemia and lymphoma and that was why I am very much concerned.

Hi All,
For those of you whom I don't PM or may not know, I am writing a SS although it is turning into a FF. So...if you would like to read it, it is for mature audiences but this one isn't at all explicit.
Here it is. This one is a flashback. Hope you enjoy. Please like and spread the word if you do!
