IssK, even I was not ok with those combined names for couples. But after Arshi, I am more used to it now. SaHan was too good. Really a test of patience. 😆 Did not hear that before though. And also, Barkila. Can't imagine why they had to give them a name too. 😆

Horizon, loved your backstory for your name. For me, this is a perfect name for this thread. It is a place where skd and ad seem to meet. A place where we from our ad dwell in this skd. I think I mentioned this earlier too.

Arshi is right, it was Indi who gave the meaning in one of the threads. Arshi was missing on the thread those days due to heavy work and also being unwell. We were missing her and Indi was referring to her work, how her name meant mirror and her work reflected the deep meaning of the story in the show.

Yes, Arshi as an individual name is beautiful. I was thinking about whether I should give a name to the child or not, when suddenly I thought of Arshi and that it meant the mirror and decided to use it right away. It's My Party!

NK starts telling Nanav that he loves India, the food, the girls, the ahem'ahem' people. Kushi is in the background behind the door giving him hints. They're shaking their waists! ASR asks him what the hell is he saying? NK say the party should be a desi party. Wine and lassi!

He says to her that her ideas are as stupid as she is and advises NK to stay away from her. She is crazy! Insulted she leaves and NK follows.

She is leaving mumbling about her Laad Govenor and Akash stops her and asks her to give a note to Payal. She teases him calling him Jijuji. A love letter. She teases him that she I going to read it but then promises she won't, she will give it to her sister. He tells her that he will pick up Payal for the party at 6.

Kushi is teasing Payal with the letter. She won't give it to her and then she threatens to read it. She says Akash is like his mom when she reads out loud, Hello hi, bye, bye. She says the letter is not from Akash but his mother. Kushi makes up something so Payal will get nervous. Payal after many tries takes the letter from Kushi and finally reads Akash's words. He said he was trying to meet with her before the wedding and now they will be able to meet at the cocktail party.

Buaji hears party and asks about it. Payal tells her and she says they should dress up. Kushi tells her it is only for the youngsters and Buaji chases her around the room for calling her old. Buaji calls them spoiled. Payal isn't sure what to wear she doesn't want to be a misfit and Kushi says to herself that was what she was trying to say to Arnav. She has to make her sister comfortable and a desi party would have done that. She must do something so she calls Arnav.

Kushi is home cooking some desi food and the best is yet to come. NK calls and the plans are put into action. Kushi says to herself now watch ASR what KKG does to make your sister in law happy!

NK is introduced to Payal. After blundering over some Hindi/Punjabi words again he keeps looking at his watch. Payal asks if he is waiting for someone and he says yes, his date. He reminds Arnav that he said he could bring a guest, a date.

Kushi runs in to the party looking ravishing in a royal blue sari. Can't wait for him to see her and NK together!

He will regret telling her , "It's my party!"
