You are right that, how cum the Raizada family couldn't suspect anything; where in a few days, NK could guess something is fishy between Arnav and Khushi.

Arnav who was noticing them, smiles at Khushi. Khushi also notices, he is watching and smiling at her. They both stare at each intently.😉 But he gradually changes his expression and becomes grumpy again and goes up. Because his Khushi stopped smiling once she saw him getting happy seeing her Happy. After all he thinks his Khushi loves him like ASR who does not know how to laugh.

that's quite an keen observation.

Great observation. Yes that green/ yellow combo dresses were quite special. I am sure our Arshi cam come up with some color symbolism.

Horizon, you gotta point. Though i can expect him to say about Dilli's auto rickshaw and moreover it happened in Khushi's dream. But the Nirupa Roy thinks surprised me. I never knew who is this Nirupa Roy is.I came to know about Nirupa Roy from this Forum.

Arshidiehardfan, CVs did so much ramanchi with us. Gussa! I wish i could kill them. Not only sheetal track the whole show became rubbish after the remarriage.

it would be awesome if they would do a yellow saree scene again in real after the remarriage.

And samin that is quite an observation. i was just so fed up with Khushi's innumerable times repeated gaudy suits. I would love to see her in sarees. whenever she wore saree she looked damn hot and sexy.

long time. 😳. you serious? that's dhakka start on the go? and heartless i thought it was some typical dilli madness. a thousand years ago when i lived in the city, got to say this creativity was not available. but while that is heart warming in a way, and a splendid example of jugaad, it still feels a bit ott on such busy roads. 😆 very khushi ji our auto wallahs, hyuk. asr would have possibly pushed his ailing vehicle to the side and given aman a call.

sardar patel and gandhi ji, in that particular hour, something almost elevating there. i am so intrigued by the man who put the country together along with the secretary to the ministry of states, v p menon.

dilli. what a city. have you read city of djinns? have almost stopped reading these days but that one had me hooked.

After Indi posted the delhi pics, everybody is talking about Khushi's auto rickshaw color saree and that cute imagination of Khushi, I can't resist myself to post these gifs of that scene. this is one of my favorite Arshi scene. It was so sensuous, how Arnav blew her on her face and Khushi shivers in anticipation.

Indi, if you ever doubted that Wheel Change ( tyre change) and maintainance of car is NOT a metaphor for life's journey and love then you have been away from Bengal far too long my dear friend! Clocks, Mirrors ( Arshi) , wheels and cars are main fodder for Baul songs ( folk songs) ! Here is my most favorite Baul song called "Gari Chole Na" ... "This car doesn't run well" for you. The singer says ... Mahajan ( owner of the car, meaning God) had given just enough gas ( petrol) to reach a destination...But the Mone (heart , dil ) Driver drove recklessly and turned him into a condemned car. His plan was go to Bondhur Bari ( his beloved's house) but since all parts are failing ( ? Mintainace anyone? ) he fears he will never reach there! (This particular song is metaphor for life's journey) . Apologies to the non Bengali friends, these kind of songs are hard to translate!

yay, you are here. thanks for reading and loving. so my bong soul should have got it pronto, right? anything to do with "path" (way) and "pathik" (wayfarer) is all about life, thanks for that baul gaan... so apt here. think there was a bangalee in the creative team? of course, anything to do with the road or a journey has come to stand for life, but here i must say the tyre change to the chamkili wrapped maintenance manual, and all that seatbelt talk, all of it felt terribly loaded and fun to decipher, even if i got it all wrong. 😆 a baul song on the thread, i love it. did you by any chance ever dance with a fake ektara to "gram chhara oi ranga maatir path"?

ufff sohara... this is hotwa attack. when we discussed this episode i think i wrote that khushi's state is most interesting here... this is her fantasy... and is happening at a time when she has just realised why she can't say yes to shyam. note her expressions, she is inviting his attention, the moment he touches her she goes into an aaa state, and she wants more and more of it.

none of that sweet, achhi bahu khushi here... all woman and wanting her man. niiice. of course, watching asr blow on her hair is very taxing on my heart and blood pressure. one of the hottest scenes in the show, i agree, sohara, even better than pakoda i feel. what made it ipk and can't breathe for me was the crazy humour attached to it.

so damn sexy... a male raucous laugh in it laced with extreme heat. and a sweet but fiery girl's desire wanting to leap out and show itself. what the.

and what's this with asr khushi and auto wallahs? she saw him as one, he called her an auto. oh oh, mind swirling spinning... so he is the driver ji, and she is his auto?!!! someone tell me this doesn't mean that. first tyres and manuals, then rough tough drivers and three wheelers (a hatke kind of chariot and charioteer). this was episode 105, so soon after nainital which was all about the road... could be just by chance. better be.

did this one for 105 analysis.

had to do the next now, because that return to reality of khushi's is priceless. kya, dilli ki auto... she was sooo expecting a hot compliment... haww.

like to thank horizon for this discussionwa, because she brought up the scene when delhi talk was on. and to the autowallah with "guiding" foot. looks like he really gave a dhakka start to the stalling thread 14. 😳

Me feels Lavanya's love was NOT encapsulated in ego, (lovely way to put it... yeah, she loved this man, and her ego was not involved in this emotion... she would and did do practically anything to have him in her life) hence, as you rightly said this so called shallow girl could hit the nail right in its head much ahead of any of the intense folks could! Some where, it felt, although she never really mentioned directly through out that entire day, as after all she is also human, she knew it was Khushi all along, hence the direct mention of nafrat. (thanks, that could be one reason for that sudden mention of nafrat, you are right 😳) it looked as if Lavanya perfectly understood ASR-Kh equation the BEST, how those two are fighting their own egos and denials and while doing so inflicting pain not only on themselves but for others around them as well. She looked almost like a messiah that minute, hence garnered all the love, adulation she rightly deserved! The biggest let down later on for me was, the writers who gave this brilliant exit to La, never made either of them recall what Lavanya said and let it go waste. (wasting opportunites became almost a fave pastime of creatives after a point, didn't it. a set up so rich in detail and full of possibilities, yet you let it all go. sometimes i wonder why. i often felt the creatives were being pushed too hard by the prod executives and channel... they sort of lost it as they went along... all that trp pressure everyu week, change this change that... hwo can remain centred and creative though it all. but still, i do wish the writers had held on somehow... that's what separates the greats from the goods i guess.)

As you mentioned about Anjali's blindness also, that I am in convo with Arshi recently, this is the major deference between La and Anjali, the former who accepted her denial immediately and the latter who held onto it even against all odds glaring in her face, that made one graceful and the other truly unbelievable. Not sure tho if we can compare La's love for ASR to that of Anjali's for Shyam. Another time may be.. again, well put. but true, the two loves were different, because the two lovers had different histories, another time, yes, we must.

Abs agree with Sanaya's comic timing, she is just bang on, a rarity for women truly. But that bathroom scene didn't gel well with me either. A girl, may be young, who was just almost kissed by a man and was dumped the next min, then gets engaged to another guy albeit reluctantly and finds him out to be a fraud, manages to be a school kid all the time! Is that called sense of humor, or fighting spirit? not sure.. but that is the very reason La managed to garner so much respect, the maturity she oozed after her life experiences, ofcourse Khushi is different, she is not lavanya, perhaps the very reason her man fell for her, but there is a fine line of humor/ wittiness that the writers made Khushi cross which is unfortunate!
about the line crossed by writers... no doubt about it. it was only thanks to sanaya that the whole thing didn't become unbearable. she was often so written by a man with no real understanding of a woman's feelings. and their prop to take the story forward or expolore the main character, asr. unfair. somehow the depth they brought to la's character felt natural. whereas with khushi she was a constant yo yo between ott humour and mahaanta acchhi beti/bahu. thankfully, khushi was portrayed with love and care in the beginning, her character felt good whole refreshing real and fun. that initial base is what kept her together, sort of.
the bathroom scene was set up very awkwardly... forced. there was a need to change the mood, writers grabbed at anything they could. let's make khushi go crazy... fine, but why would asr wander into her room, and start handing her towels, especially since she is sounding supremely corny with all the aap and stuff and not at all in dire need of any kind? the only way to explain this is he is gone cuckoo, super addle pated in love. 🤢
Metaphor in that manual.. sochni ki padegi!!!

Payesh Engagement'.PART 2

One side one couple couldn't wait for to be announced as one and other side was waiting to declare their separation .Khushi brings Payal downstairs and there is no doubt ,both gorgeous girls were grabbing everyone's attention especially Akash who couldn't resist holding his girl's hand.Shyam's filthy eyes were roaming around Khushi who was ignoring him completely to enjoy her sister's engagement.

A gentle hand on La's shoulder brings her to the realization table and she turns around by wiping her tears.But my grabber is she does not want Arnav to feel guilty and at the top Arnav's care and concerns for her is very much visible to her too but why? She wants him to feel guilty to change his mind or she s being selfless which she is not.They come down together holding arms but today La's gazes and gestures losing her love are not gone unnoticed by him which he was ignoring since from the beginning .That is my point she is grabbing his extra attention today because she really is Feeling the meaning of love who loves someone else.

Naniji teases her for her "character Dheela" dance and pushes her to the dance floor

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:La was doing her surprise dance of character Dheela on Anjali's wedding anniversary and Naniji was fuming over it.Today Naniji is laughing about it and she is holding her ears for seeking forgiveness and Naniji is embracing her.What a change?

That day Arnav and La came down together as a couple but the situation was different.

La's frustration over the dance was very visible for Arnav.She pulls Khushi on the dance floor.When Khushi dances ,it seems the whole environment fills with joy.Everbody joins her at this auspicious moment.Arnav couldn't resist admiring his Khushi which didn't go unnoticed either by Khushi or by La.Khushi gets uneasy with his piercing soft gazes while La couldn't stop her tears which made Khushi to go after her.

Arnav's convulsion is very much visible by looking at La and he decides to disclose the truth to the family,which makes everyone worried especially Guptas.

Two parallel scenes side by side'Khushi connects the dots very clearly for La's behavior and her distress.La tells her the truth and it drops a bomb shell on Khushi and the vey same way on the family when Arnav tells them,"Mein aur Lavanya engagement nahin kar rahe"[La and I are not getting engaged]

Naniji's words shakes him a bit but he doesn't stumble as he still needs time to understand the depth and meaning of these relations'..His past has indeed the main cause of this sternness."Jaldbazi mein liya huwa koi bhi faisla sirf aapki zindagi par nahin 'purey parivar peh asar kart hai..[ hasty decision does not effect only yourlife but also effect the family]Anjali's concerns about La shows her own past bitter experience which is reflecting here in her tears.She knows how a woman feels after a breakage of any commitment .Her own experience and her mother's both are speaking with volume here.

Pondering Connecting Dots: Arnav's hasty decision of forced marriage with Khushi is going to effect both families temporarily.

Love this man's forthright and candid nature"Di aaj yeh faisla nahin karta dair tum ho jati'tub aap log manzoor karte"[Di if I don't make this decision today'then it would be late and you won't accept it] He made it clear to Akash whatever happens in his life shouldn't effect your life but he is unaware of the future as it is going to effect all of them.He breaks all the Mami's plan flopped by declaring Akash's engagement and Naniji supports him but stumbles him with the question for which he has no answer"What happened in between you and La because of which you are breaking this engagement."

Arnav aversely ,Hum iss bare mein baad baat karain gey"[we will talk about this later]

He comes down alone by gathering himself together and the moment he sees La and Khushi,"His phone becomes his partner"

Khushi sees him and steps forward towards him in rage which stops by La "Chamkili thoda Chill karo na"..Khushi in acerbity,"how can I chill,you are not telling me anything'..but I know it will be his mistake whether you tell me or not"

La in aghast ,"it does not matter who is responsible as Truth will not change by that"La tells her not to tell anyone till Akash and Payal engagement.Meanwhile Arnav looks at both yet Khushi shares her concerns and questions in her frenzy way and takes La with her leaving him confounded.

Payesh engagemnt happens lavishly and the new couple takes blessings of elders yet Guptas do feel virulenceonver some issue in Raizadas faces.Arnav after taking permission from La[love him over here] announces the news of his broken engagement and invites everyone for dinner.

He feels for La today as a friend ,as a companion''.he really did hurt her'He moves to talk to her yet stopped by displeased Khushi.La stops her blaming him.Khushi is touched by her concerns for family "who parivaar keh bare mein itna sochti hai '..by gritting teeth "aur Arnavji.."[She is thinking about family so much and Arnavji']

'while Arnav is concerned with Khushi's behavior with him."Khushi tum aise behave kyuon kar rahi ho"[Khushi why are behaving like this]Khushi proceeds with acrimony,"aap hamesha humari nazron mein yeh sabat kar daite hain ke aap Arnav Singh Raizada hain"[You always prove in my eyes that you are ASR]

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS: After kidnapping when he stops her bringing contract on the table '.she says almost same'"Arnav Singh Raizada Khabi nahi badal Sakta" [AS can't change]and when she resigned "Arnav Singh Raizada khabi galat nahin ho sakta ya usse koi galat nahin bola sakta"[ASR can't be wrong or no one can call him wrong] and many more'

Her ill thinking of him irritates him as always and he drags her to their Eternal Heaven[pool side] by grabbing her arm

"Jiss situation ke bare mein tumhain pata nahin hai uske bare mein bolne ki koi zaroorat nahin hai"[Don't talk of something when you don't know about it]

Khushi non stop in an argument mode,"zaroorat hai''iss bar apne kya bahana bana kar Lavanyaji ka dil toda hai"[it's important '.what excuse do you have this time for breaking her heart]

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:She went to his office during the meeting to convince him for La to bring her back"kya apne khabi bhi La se pyar kya tha"[Did u ever love La] and he said"haan nahin hai dil ASR keh seene mein"[yes ASR don't have heart] is applying here he only difference is this time his heart has found its place right there where it supposed to be'

The string of the music is stringing his heart which beats is not matching up with her words'"Kya bahana"'[What excuse]

He grasps the moment to talk "mein jo keh raha hoon who suno'"[Listen what am I saying..]yet interrupted by her'"nahin sunni aapki baat..[I don't want to hear you]

Why do I feel here she is afraid what might he say as whenever she is convulsive with confused thoughts she talks too much'and that what she is doing here'She is not ready to hear it as she has feeling he might say something involving her'as their mehsoos is up to next level where they can understand each other without words'

Khushi didn't stop there,"theek kaha tha apne'aap bhavnaon ko samjhte hi nahin '.apko sirf paise aur taqat ki bhasha samjh aati hai'..[ you were right ,you only understand money and power language]..Arnav lowers his eyes down[though flaring nostrils with anger] today as this is what he showed her that this is what he is made of'despite the fact they both know the depth of their feelings but this mortal feeling is what it is at least for her'

Khushi continues,"Tou bataeye Mr Raizada..Lavanyaji ka Dil dukhane keh liye aur iss rishte ko todne mein aapka kya faeyda huwa"[so tell me what benefit you have after breaking up this relationship]

Arnav slowly brings his gazes up with uncertainty,with question'.like he is totally confounded with this thought ,how come she doesn't know that'..

Khushi who couldn't say a word today is opening her heart though it's through La

"Kya aapko pata hai..eik ladki ko kaisa lagta hai jab uska rishta toot jata hai'[Do u know how does it feel to a girl when her relationship breaks'] .Arnav's jerks up with that and there is concerned questions written on his face'.

Khush in her sobs with deep convusion without looking at him"Koi aisa ladka jisse aap apni zindagi and aur apne parivaar ka hissa banane wale hoon ..apni asliya ko apke samne rakhde tou kaisa mehssos hota hai'."Apke Vishwas ko choor choor karde tou hum kaise bharosa kar sakte hain kissi peh"

[ A boy ,who u want to make your life partner and a part of your family, opens up in front of you in such a way which u can't explain'.who breaks your trust then how you can trust any one after that]

Arnav's gulping down her pain with his tears'..as this is totally unbearable for him'Why do I feel it's also reflects double meaning'..One yes she is describing here what her fianc did to her and he can't do anything about that'..SECOND he did the same when he DECLARED his engagement with La and shattered her dreams and trust on Diwali'.He is feeling both [MY POV] 'He knows he broke her heart and now her fianc did something which he is not aware of'is breaking her apart and her each word is piercing his heart to bleed to bear that pain.

Khushi with her painful words with determination by looking at him in acerbity,"nahin samjhainge aap..jab kissi ka rishta toot ta hai tou dil peh kya bitti hai..jab Vishwas aur bharosa tooot ta hai tou kya bitti hai.."[you don't understand'how does it feel when relationship and trust breaks]

Thinkable moment:I wish she knew the reason of his backing down from this engagement which had no meaning in the first place. How ironic is that he declared "shadi kar rahe hain" [we are getting married ] because of Khushi and she pushed herself to the edge of getting engaged with that creep because of her father and family and Arnav was the main reason and today Khushi is the main reason he is breaking up with La and he is the reason she is quiet for his sister and her Jiji for not disclosing Shyam's truth.Arnav and Shyam will use this in future and she will suffer from both sides.

Arnav intervenes to find out the truth attacking Psychologially in the middle."aur tum samjh Sakti ho" [and u can understand]

Khushi on a roll blurts out the truth of her engagement'"haan hum samjh sakte hai'kyuonke humara rishta toota hai.humare dil ko thais ponchi hai"[yes I can understand because my relationship broke and my heart aches for that]

It freezes the moment for them and they both share an intense gaze with million questions and answers'her realization and his shock along with her relief of sharing her pain with him and his relief to know the reason of her convulsion was so visible here.

She can't say more as she has to quiet for his sake ,after he asks her in such a concerned and soft note by moving forward towards her "Khushi tum ne mujhe bataiya kyuon nahin'"[Khushi why didn't u tell me] same way when she told him about her engagement'..

She looks at him with question by stepping back,"humain iss bare mein koi baat nahin karni.."[I don't want to talk about it]

She leaves him trailing her with name "Khushi"'but with a soft smile on his face'.YES HE GOT HIS KHUSHI BACK''but she left him confounded with to look upon his actions to trail em down to reach her...

La's state is almost as if she knew this would happen at some point and made a mental note that day is the day to accept it as she was n't even willing to budge for his guilt. Enlightenment dawned on some one at least and she accepted to move on gracefully!

ASR's non melodramatic forthcoming is always a pleasure to watch! Khushi prying into ASR-La again was rather frustrating, would be nice if she gave some breathing space to relationships. In that pool side convo, agree with you that there was a reference to the heart break he gave her on Diwali, but it also came across as if she was truly heart broken for her broken engagement, not just a trust break. I don't think it is fair to put ASR and Shyam at the same stretch and that the former used her hiding Shyam's truth to his adv. ASR may have exploited her love for Payal for what he thought was she was truly a wrong doer and deserved a punishment unlike Shyam who is aware of all the truth and exploited every one only and only for his own selfish motives!

Even my mom noticed & asked me why she is repeating the same costumes... I wonder why it is only with Khushi's character? Anjali's costumes were pretty good. The richness they showed in the first half of the show were completely missing in the second half of the show
