What do I say!!!
Such a brilliant story- truly touched my heart- I read this story a couple of weeks ago and cried through it - a good crying, mind you - much needed catharsis of sorts. I am stunned at the way you took this one scene which was never shown - and given it the kind of treatment I know the makers could never have. Just for that, I am so glad they did not go ahead with it - I doubt they could have done justice to it, but you, my friend, have totally aced it! Sensitive and mature and still so much our IPK, our Arnav and Khushi... I am sincerely sorry I did not comment earlier but I had been wanting to write something that befit it - seeing your PM tonight (yesI am one of those crazy women who stayed up past midnight to see this show when it ran) I read chapter ten and could not stop myself from commenting.
I loved it - loved the little flashbacks in between - loved the beautiful depiction of Anjali's childhood and her relationship with her brother - loved the beauty and sanctity shown here - loved the fact that ASR is smart and still thinking clearly. Loved Khushi's flare of jealousy - so real - and really so Khushi.
As for your note, I agree with it entirely
Arnav Singh Raizada is a man - who loves his family and his sister is very important- to me, an ASR without these connections is not really ASR - and the Khushi I understood would never have wanted it otherwise- I loved how you showed that here - Khushi giving the siblings their space, understanding what they mean to each other, loved how Arnav reacts to NK hugging Khushi - Khushi is only his - loved how Anjali sees it and understands it - loved your depiction of the family scene, a really sensitive portrayal of Mami. I honestly would like to believe that the makers did want to show exactly this in the show - unfortunately matters went a bit haywire. Thank you for writing this story -
Your story telling touches my heart and warms it. Fills up some little gaps - fulfills little dreams!! 😆
Hugs!!!
