Blasters, Congratulations to all on the success of this special anniversary thread. Wow, look at the number of likes!
Thank you each and everyone who have liked and appreciated our posts.
@Indi
What a blasting opening you've given. It is stupendous. Took us right into the epic 1st episode. Thank you for opening this thread. Your unique writing has made this thread really special. Thanks for including the Malayalam translation. But, where's the Mandarin one you mentioned about?
@Wiwy
The collage is so enchanting. Loved the way you've assembled them. 😳
I loved your story. And I want to mention it here too, as I wrote in the pm, it was like Superman landing on the balcony, making a lasting effect on the lady and going away dressed like Clark Kent. 😆 Who else would land on the balconies on high rise buildings? 😆 Still waiting for your next one. 😉
Hey, but I loved your next surprise. Because it was actually a surprise for me. Thank you so so much for dedicating such a beautiful poem to me and Supriya. 🤗 I must tell you, this is your best one so far. 😃 I loved your choice of words, got the feeling of the moment so well. And the answer to all those questions in the poem is a huge Yes. 😉
@Ami
Amazing collage of first caps of the man who blew everyone's hearts over with his landmark entry. Aapka nishana, to get the best caps from the scenes, bhi nahi chookta. 😉
@Kate
You are our knight in hiding armour. 😉 What would we be without you? Perhaps something like a silent movie. You are blast's audio and video technician. Your music players have been appeasing our hearts for sometime now. Thank you so much for the chopper entry and first meet gifs and that music you've put together is mindblowing. You've made the anniversary a great one!
@Chalhov
Lovely parody. Har dil jo pyaar karega - what a choice of song. And you've covered all our feelings for the show through this parody. Good one! 👏
@lolly143
Thank you so much for those amazing off-screen pics. The whole unit has been such a lovely family. Not only them, we too cherished those memories.
@Arshi
Loved the post. You've given the poora ka poora story of IPK in one single post. That is a great feat! Ah, that collage with all the important scenes of IPK, love it a lot. Thank you for this journey through IPK. 😃
This is an amazing first page, so beautiful. Full of wonderful writings, pictures, gifs and music. Thank you all. 😳

It came .. it conquered and it remained etched hard in our memories for ever...the saga of Arnav and Khushi..our IPK turned 2 years!

Iss pyar ko kya naam doon, a name,... that resonates with the intense love tale of a hot headed business tycoon and simple, silly and crazy yet strong girl.. that showcased impeccable on screen chemistry as never seen before coupled with stellar performances and mesmerizing looks... that filled our ears and hearts with many melodious tunes.. that condenses me to a mere mass of emotions!

As many, oblivious to the world of daily soaps, until I IPK knocked on my door the fine day after Teej, the first Arshi scene i watched live was the one where Khushi stuffs Samosa in her mouth and the hot headed guy yells "enough".. and as they say the rest was history! What ensued later was this memorable journey which I never thought would become an inseparable part of me. After finishing watching the previous episodes in a week, a fervent need to know and share more made me a hesitant first time blogger.. and there was NO looking back! For a 20 min airing, there were hours of discussions, debates every day.. of the rights and the wrongs, of the objectivity and the fallibility.. ..there were conference calls made across continents to discuss a supposedly fictional show (how we could all retain our jobs and respective spouses amidst all is still a mystery!).. people of varied ethnicities, faiths and languages.. only thing common to everyone was the love and longing for this magical show and couple!

While the telling tale of passions running high between Arnav and Khushi touched us like nothing before, a moment to applaud their rather unconventional households. The Raizadas, a grand mother who gave all the support to her grandchildren suddenly orphaned by the cruelty of asli duniya, and an aunt, who otherwise loved the ostensible exhibition of wealth didn't think twice when her much hard working and smart nephew was in need. Ofcourse that young man never forgot her benevolence either and supported even all her whimsies unconditionally there after. The Gupta parents, who raised two strong girls, ironically neither born out of their own wedlock but from their respective previous affiliations, which never hindered them from giving these two girls, all the love, care, freedom and instilling the right values! Take a bow.

It is impossible to imagine that Arnav and Khushi never walked on planet earth.. or have they??!!! Kudos to Barun and Sanaya for making these two rather seemingly unrealistic individuals larger than life images and endearingly lovable. The entire cast and technical crew.. special mention to Gul, Nissar, LM, Arshad Khan, Hitesh Kewalya, Gautam Hegde, Megha S Kumar, and ofcourse Raju Singh..including the spot boys who brought all those energizing tiffin packets onto the sets!

Now, when I look back...has IPK ended??.Will eternal things ever end?? NO.. it is still very much alive in all our hearts and memories!

Near.. far ..where ever you are.. you are safe in my heart and my heart will go on and on... with that ever enchanting melody...Rabba ve... all the way!

Happy 2nd Anniversary IPKKND and all Arshians! May God bless Arnav and Khushi in that parallel world.. Hamesha!

horizon,

that was so heartfelt and ipk love filled. really what makes a mark in our hearts and dreams, and fantasies and imagination, do such things ever end? i am so glad we all found thsi show in our own always remarkable ways, and then we all met up... it's been wonderful sharing all that's ipk with all of you... no judgment, no pseudo talk, and no limit to drooling. thanks again for that post.

The Mehsoos...the pull

It was there always, since June 6th 2011, the magnetic pull to each other, the mehsoos of each other. the attraction, the need to stay attached...yes the first collar grab happened on their first meeting, long before the guest house incident.

He had closed his eyes unable cope with memories of his surroundings at Sheesh Mahel, and his painful past he refuses to move on from. She had been pushed on to the stage by accident (or was it?). It was then that a strong unknown feeling prompted him to open his eyes, a feeling that causes him to pause and think for a moment, before his eyes went to her. She had also closed her eyes after calling out of her beloved Devi Maiyaa but as she opened, the feeling may have reached her too...perhaps not as strongly as him. After all he would be the first to recognize this incredible feeling that would draw him to her.

Devi Maiya had decided it was finally time Khushi Kumaari Gupta met her destiny and Arnav Singh Raizada met the biggest deal of his life. She had a beautiful fall and fell into the arms of her destiny and he caught the biggest deal of his life. They stared at each other, certainly not the "love at first sight" look but confused by this pull, but still got lost in each other, the attraction on fire... His eyes moved to her lips, while her hands found his collar...then there were fireworks, nice touch CVs!!

"Phir aap ke rajkumaar kahaan hai?"(then where is your Prince?)

an inquizitive boy had asked Khushi earlier after she had showed herself a rajkumari(princess) for a school function. Right then she knew to look up at a chopper that made noise announcing his arrival. The rajkumar's. but She was on a scooty grounded, he was flying in the sky. She believes and in usuls (value) while he thinks they are for fools. She is all about "zameer" (concious), while life has taught him from early on to kill it even if it's there. Seemingly different as night and day, but it's this pull that will always remain as their biggest friend and enemy and take us on an unforgettable journey.

There was another pull in this first episode that sucked all of us right in, and no sight of letting go anytime soon, or ever. The show truly deserves a grand celebration, for it has actually changed lives, bought people together and most of all continues to feed the soul even after its ending.

Happy 2nd Anniversary IPK!!!!!!!!!!!!

the first collar grab... to that a long glass of laphroig. cheers, ami this is a lovely tribute to something utterly asr khushi. and you are right, that first time was the time, in fact the moment when he opened his eyes, seemed to pause and sense something, then slowly turned his gaze, that was it. he was never going to be able to get away after that. and what was that slow perusal, top to bottom of her face, then the pause on her quivering lips. and she not struggling, nor protesting, just sitting there in his arms, shivering in anticipation, as if unable to take her eyes off his face.

what mehsoos.

beautiful piece, sir. to mehsoos, without which life would be just plain colourless. to asr khushi mehsoos... may it live long and prosper.

the bus came out of nowhere. it hurtled down the narrow lane at reckless speed, weaving from side to side, a storm of dry afternoon dust in its wake, a frenzied behemoth on a rampage.

he saw it before her. there was no time to lose.

"khushi!"

why did her name always sound so different on his tongue, a need in it, an excitement, a feeling like no other, that "kh" as he exhaled and carried her name on his breath.

swiftly he moved, arm slicing the air, pushing her out of the way. she fell backward startled, winded by the force of his push. what was...

and a silence fell across the world.

before her eyes a large metal monster in blue and white raced straight toward arnav singh raizada and no, it didn't stop. it made contact with his supple, intense body and continued to move. the impact threw him up and out. she watched as his body flew, was she really seeing this, but there he was still moving in an arc through the air, the hot, blazing afternoon glare of delhi's 3 o'clock sun in june wrapping around his arched frame, unable to stop the flight.

then he fell on the hard charcoal gray asphalt, where steam rose from the surface, a shimmery layer
about six inches high, floating endlessly just above the ground... time for mirages, this heat before the rains.

but that was no mirage.

arnavji... yes, arnavji was lying there. still. he wasn't moving at all. and something dark red had just begun to flow on to the bitumen gray.

"arnavji," her breath shivered on his name, a chill she'd not known before grasping her hands, clutching her heart, freezing her thoughts. she stood up without realising she had and started to run toward him, she must reach him, she must, but what was happening, why were her legs not carrying her forward? and what was that dark red thing?

was it time for holi? and who were these people running toward her... reaching him. no no, leave him alone, she wanted to scream, i am coming, i know what he needs. he doesn't like to be touched by strangers. he is going to get very angry if he he sees this. you can't handle his gussa...

the sun grew more orange and hot white.

a desire stalked the air, what did it want. and why was he so still? and where was all sound, she couldn't hear a thing.

without you
as second anniversary approached, a series of disturbing shots of the "death" scene were suddenly all over the net. of course, it all rattled the h out of me like everyone else. and yet, a sudden desire to enter that moment i so feared... to see what was there, got me. i have started this story, no idea what you all will make of it. hope to update this weekend, fingers crossed. i haven't written much fiction, but it is anniversary time and i'd like to give it a try. your honest opinion always looked forward to.

OMG Indi, the picture itself made my heart dropped and it was pounding with trepidation!! Also the title struck me with this uneasiness and unwanted fear for this is the direction we all never wanted to explore. My heart quivered and tears were breeming in my eyes as I continue to read! smiley-face-cry.gif Because we are all attach to the characters and show, it is hard to bear the unthinkable.
Finally you've started a FF. clap3.gif Remember how we all encouraged you? Indi, you are an exceptional writer and I am always drawn to your style of writing. ⭐️ heart_beat1.gif Hats off to you for being so brave in exploring this realm. 👏 We all need to be just as brave too. In addition, my curiosity is working overtime because I'm eager to know what direction your creative juices will flow. I'm hoping for a silver lining somewhere. I'm looking forward to the next part! Please do continue soon. Thank you so much, Indi, for this very special gift. 🤗 *Hands over my heart* I'm so very proud of you and you know you have my support!
Note: Will copy and post this on your main story thread too!! I hope you don't mind!

Indi, opened my inbox and super excited to this story from you, when opened there was that nightmarish picture...could n't read past "and a silence fell across a world" .. did Ami say she couldn't read past that too??? But this is Indi, some one I trust for her generous love for this man both and on and off screen.. so brought myself to read it all trying to view it .. well only as a "fiction".. the show what Ami rightly points to meant to be watched only once! Looking forward to some positivity filled literary treat as always found in your works!

Indi: Wonderful opening as always .. this pictures just pitch perfect (OK, I came to know recently that Barun said in an interview that his and Sanaya's on screen partnership is like the "Great Australian opening pair (Matthew) Hayden- (Adam) Gilchrist - Dhamakedar", Can say the same for you and Durga for our BFT. Thanks both of you.)
raizada group ka saal ka sabse bada show. buland."
I missed that buland part .. thanks for bringing it up here.. that makes me happy that there are still things un explored for me, as you vented your fear that we may exhaust everything related to all the 398 very soon.:)
Durga: loved that poem (you have been on a poetic spree for this anniversary indeed) and thanks for all the effort in compiling that list of IPK in various languages. And your discovery of significance of number 2 around lately. how apt.. and loved the way you donned our beloved ArshiHamesha's avatar in explaining that number to us!
Wiwy: "Dhamakedar" surprise for the thread.. .haven't read that OS in full yet , will do over the weekend. but those pictures and the title already grabbed my heart.. can't wait to read.. and that brilliant ever thoughtful verse.. after 398 epis .. can we safely say "YES" to all those? You indeed brought this huge surprise chocolate cake for this thread my friend! Thank you!
Katelyn: what brilliant gifs and that music.. that will resonate in our hearts for a long time to some.. may bug you some day to learn this craft of incorporating music.. loved all the pics and your words..
Chalhov: thoroughly entertaining parody for this special thread.."Har dil jo pyaar karega, voh Arnav Khushi ki kahani dekega, IPK2 magega" .. love your optimism! You watched from 250th? Your user name looked so familiar as if from the start.. well .. that "divine intervention"!
Arshihamesha: What a narrative to summarize this emotional roller coaster my dear... brilliant.. "fairytale ends but its pyar,janoon,ishq[love] will remain with us for eternity, for Hamesha. For life time.".. how true! Loved all the pics esp, their marriage one with reflection ( I remember what Ami said about this kind earlier)
Supriya: Floored by that collage with that caption that you rightly dedicated to Indi.
Sohara: the two top things, Jalebi and Chocolate cake.. reminded immediately of sweet Khushi and sauve ASR.. what a way to start the post my dear. Loved all the pictures.
Barundiwani: Ami, you bowled me over with your writing again.. mehsoos..what an touchy theme for this auspicious occasion..reminded me of those famous AB words.. "magar ye dil hai ke keh raha hai ke tum yahi ho, yahin kahin ho "isn't that what we feel for IPK and Arshi?? "There was another pull in this first episode that sucked all of us right in, and no sight of letting go anytime soon, or ever"..truly ami!
lolly143: Loved the way you said it all with pictures, surely brought back some fond memories!
