I know I am missing these two badly these days but I can't watch anything else as it has no charm for me.Never did before and until something comes at this or more at the rate of caliber I set in my mind ,may be then.Chan Chan sometimes on YT just because Sanaya as I adore her just like him ,but there is nothing and wondering why the heck she took that role ,may be she wants to come out of that "sehar" of IPK .What ever I am stuck to this till next journey God knows when.Madubalah ,hmmm...not a fan of Darashti ,never liked Geet no offense to any onePLZ .and yes the wooden guy again No offense to anyone as I am very peculiar about certain things.Faces don't charm me until they have some virtues .

Ok ladies, just a thought in my head. One of those "What if" questions.
In the episodes after the revelation of Khushi's engagement, Arnav asks Khushi:

"Khushi, meri sagaai ho ya na ho. Aaj ho ya ek saal baad...tumhe is se kya farak padta hai?"

What if instead of what Khushi actually said...she said something on the below lines:

"Haan Arnav ji, aapki sagai ho ya na ho, humein farak nahi padna chhaiye...lekin farak padta hai. Us diwali ki raat bhi humein farak padaa tha jab aapne kaha tha...us sab ka koi matlab nahi...phir bataiye humein farak pade bhi toh uska kya fayeda?"

What do you think Arnav would have said/done?

I feel, by saying what she actually did, Khushi not only shielded her heart but also saved ASR, because, even though he wanted to see that Khushi ko farak padta hai...he was in no way prepared to deal with it...if indeed she said so. Not at that moment...not till much later!

But what would be interesting is to know what you all think, different insights to this much intriguing character!

I like your thought on La, its possible she did things on purpose here, but then she asked her to hold his hand while she put the badage on...maybe i'm the possessive type but i wouldn't let a girl i know BF has some feelings for do that. anyway, one of those things just have swallow and move on. 😆 thanks again!

That year apart thing indeed is indeed a holy (or was it unholy??)connection. And that depression unforgettable. How could anyone from the team, who have conceived and created this amazing "journey towards love" of a man EVER thought of killing ASR?? I would have been for ever depressed rest of my life had that happened. Yes so very glad that there are so many kindred souls and it was after all a happy Arshi ending!

I am sure, they would done the same if Sanaya were to be leaving too... after all its ONLY a business proposition for them.. where as for us Arshi were the inseparable couple of the parallel world! Huh.. A a separate book can be written on the closing fiasco!

what is this life if full of care... beautiful poem from college or late school days, thanks so much 😳.

i have no issues with asli duniya... it is what it is. since the eighties our world has taken a resolute turn toward material things, mainly money, in a way i never witnessed growing up. but that is fine... change is a given of life. no crib... it's a phase.

but in this, i noticed the idea of love as i understood it, getting lost. always grateful to ipk for bringing that back and putting it centre stage.

yes, samin, we all here are also part of asli duniya, and thank the eternal for that. 😳

wow, arshi. what a great read... and all the connections with episodes before and after. you felt he was angry with all the parents for the madness of the moment... yeah, maybe he was, fabulous insight. oh the cutting of those flowers, how much anger, sadness, pain in that. and the pain later

"Khushi jerks up along with him when La puts meds on him'and that isn't gone unnoticed by him either' La asks Khushi to help but he declares his intensions in a negative answer to make Khushi feel guilty and bad'..but La forces her.Khushi takes his hand and wrist in her two hands 'such a beautiful assurance from her side as if she is saying if you let me I will hold you '.He is at peace with her touch as "meelon ki thakan door ho gye eik lamas bhare haath se"

she was his source of sukoon, we both felt earlier during the bangle episode... and now he can't take it, this long searched for peace, for granted... she's someone else's... intolerable. he gets mad bad angry. some day as you say she will understand and accept him for exactly who he is... right now both are burning in the same heat, the same tumoil tosses both.

loved you exploring chakravyuh further. the rings of relationships closing in. many unknown to the players. great analysis. 👏 👏 👏 thanks so much.

Thnx Indi for your kind words yes that bangle scene fits here too.Nice reminder and connection.She is understanding it as if you are going to notice when she comes to talk to him"humare hone na hone se aapko koi fadak nahin padta"...She figured out I can mold him with sweet and gentle words and he realized when she leaves and I am sorry again so understanding is changing shapes here and I wrote to sohara too This is good if they are mad and frustrates because this is the only way they will get to each other's POV and that's what we are a heading to and this understanding which is penetrating slowly into their skin makes it impossible for them to stay away from each other even in their hate period

was watching a bit of madhubala as i lunched. stilted lines, wooden acting, major shenanigans around a shaadi... how i missed our two... how i knew they'd turn that wood into pure molten gold. i could practically see sanaya and barun take those dull moments and make them hot, seething, tempestuous, beautiful.

I watched Madhubala for a bit on YT. It was after i first realized my obsesssion with IPK. I was in denial...and wanted to stop it (Like ASR!) and thought if i moved to something else I would be fine. I was wrong, ofcourse.
Even though that character RK was darker...(we know how IPK PH initially had a draker ASR in mind) but still i don't know this character (RK) lacked integrity, soul. I was never drawn to him. I think an important reason being, the eyes, the facial expressions that have to be top notch when you are dealing with such a complex character. I fell for ASR, despite his roughness in dealing with Khushi, even when i did not know his past...those subtle expressions, that pain in those eyes...All that is missing here..all you see is wooden face, blank eyes...and still you have major fan following for the soap. Funny how i make note of such things now...

Whenever i hear of a non saas bahu soap doing well...i cant help but imagine what it would be if these 2 were there...They would simply rock ANYTHING.

I cant explain it...i have this need to patronize people related to IPK. I watched Qubool Hai for sometime becos the PH was the same...watched Madhubala for a bit becos same writer was involved!Even watched a couple of episodes of Chhan Chhan becos i somehow felt i had to do something for Sanaya...but sorry..the girl is wasted there...feel bad for her...feel angry when people say barun is the only one she can create chemistry with. Disagree here..!
I also watched Qubool Hai for a while on YT and there was an obvious attempt to copy/emulate something. I felt practically nauseous when i heard that they used the same song - Teri Meri Prem kahani...How dare they!
But still got to give it where it is due...the story (at least at the time i watched) was interesting. The characters were good...but i hate the female lead...(dont think much for the male lead too but female was annoying!) and i could help but wonder...how sanaya would totally totally rock it. This is the difference.
we had such amazing actors in IPK...you realize that after they are gone and u see the crap around and feel...Whoa...they were something.
I just wish the best for all of them. Sanaya, Barun, Daljeet, Akshay, all of them!
I truly feel Sanaya deserves much much better than whats going on right now. I so wish she particpated in Jhalak dikhlaa jaa...I would have voted for her day in and out...without even seeing her dance performances...Thats how much i feel for her! :(

ina211 in bold I am with you as i was saying the same kind of things to Indi in another post never watch and can't stand these ppl and these Sas Bahu crap.I tried but couldn't drawn my attention to anything else and Sanaya is the only reason I popped up in Chan Chan but there is nothing to watch...????? I Think the same she deserves the best but wondering Why she took this show and I just read somewhere Abhass is quitting the Zee Show Dastan...Is something cooking as Indi has very positive hopes which I am skeptical about Season 2

The mayhem went on and off screen post Feb was unfathomable. But clearly interest weaned at many levels from many parties. I am not sure if the sapping story line was becos Barun wanted to leave, instead of offering a luring story line for him to stay they have let it down for a free fall nose dive. Who ever is to blame but its totally a fans/ viewer's loss.

And, yes Arshi deserved a much better ending, when ever I read about any grand exits for any mediocre shows, or see a title pic of any couple happy where as the last title track pic Arshi had was from the hate marriage track with her mangalsutra stuck in his blazer, my wounds get greener.. they deserved much better for all the love and emotions poured!

I do hope we can go to Supreme court as you suggested for our spiritual rights denied and do get that season-2 before we exhaust all the fine bits to feel and write and talk about!
