Considering ma'am that you opnened a thread that had several screenshots of my comments, I hope you are not too offended that I took screenshots of your and other individual's posts. I had to pass them on to higher sources so they could deal with them and take the proper steps

Okay well clearly we need a solution in all this, and settling scores with people (or complaining) is not the way. I do not have any precedence over this forum, but as a member I will voice my opinion on a possible consensus.

IMHO, these people have little chance at reformation - once a basher, always a basher. And in this never-ending cycle of hate, one of the two parties needs to be mature. Clearly, it's not going to be them so I ask, why CAN'T it be us? I see people here saying they have a right to be just as condescending as those folks. Like do you guys hear yourselves? Regardless of the gravity of their insults, catering to that same hate does not reflect well on our part. It's wrong, no matter how much they have hurt you.there are mods who will take care of such incidents, pm with proof.

Now dealing with the bashing posts is a different issue. MODs have made it clear that they have certain limitations when it comes to punishments. And in a way, they're right. Even if we permanently ban the member, IF has no restrictions on the number of accounts you can make. Bashing cannot possibly be eradicated, but it can be controlled. So I humbly suggest every IPK fan to make full use of the report button instead. Please don't feel the urge to type rude remarks to "stick it to them", It's just not worth it. In fact, by doing this you actually put yourself in the way of being personally attacked -which yes, has definitely happened. (And it is disturbing what nonsense they are capable of spewing)

Like I said before, PM-ing is always more effective if you find mods aren't prompt with the report button. Sometimes, people report perfectly good topics just to be funny. So mods don't know which ones are urgent and which ones aren't.

I'll give an example.

^^ After reporting this topic three times in the span of an hour with no response, I decided to PM a mod. Within minutes I got a reply, and Saara closed the topic at page 23.

^^Now this is the recent one. Same thing happened, except this time I decided not to PM (I did report though). This topic went on for 105 pages before it was closed.

So clearly, it's not that the MODs don't care. They work extremely hard to keep this place clean, but to make their jobs easier, we can always make the extra effort. And if each one of these topics end before they even begin, surely the bashers should get tired of it one day, right? But if you entertain them with your responses, then they will want nothing more than to keep coming back.

And of course, the PM option doesn't work if the mods are not online at that time. But I've already asked about the time-zone issue and I hope someone can tell me whether we have active moderators for each time of day. If not, we really need that.

So yes there are solutions. Instead of focusing on what has been done, I would like to remain positive and discuss what can be done to improve this place. I have given my take (which is probably just a conglomeration of a lot of opinions here and what I've previously said!).
