It seems like it's getting arduous for Khushi to keep her promise.She has become a zany, a complete buffoon in front of arnav to keep her silence. Arnav once said her in nainital that she talks when it's not necessary and stays quiet when it's needed. We know how childish Khushi is and she proved it again. In this fiasco we witnessed a light hearted fun episode with Sanaya's brilliant acting and my sexy boy's priceless expressions.

Payal a loving big sis can't see her ever cheerful and happy baby sis sad. She knows how upset she is at her suddenly fixed marriage. When she asked about it, khushi evades the real reason of her sadness and gives the excuse of Payal's marriage and her dad's illness. Her reasons are practical though, but who will make buaji understand! 😡Both sisters try to lighten up their mood by playing their childhood naughty act by tickling each other. really loved this beautiful showcase of sibling love in IPK.😆

In RM shyam doesn't find his ring and gets frightened. So he rushes to the living room to check, where Anjali is giving his cloth to HP for laundry. HP tells her to check the pocket carefully. Anjali rummages Shyam's pant's pockets and she finds a jeweler's receipt. Shyam snatches it immediately from her and tells her that it's the receipt of the ring what he gave for polishing. Anjali notices his tension and asks him if he is hiding anything from her or not! "are you doing anything furtively?"

Shyam tells her the truth that he is marrying secretly. How Anjali can believe this confession, cause she trusts him unconditionally.But Shyam is kind of incorrigible, "I'm telling you the truth, but why don't you trust me?"

pause: So shyam is getting prepared for the upcoming circumstances. Smart fellow. he knows, if the marriage thing leaks out he can defend himself.

Anjali is really upset, "don't ever mock with such thing. I'm telling you, I'll die if it happens."

Poor woman love that devil blindly. Felt sorry for her, she didn't get her deserving love. Anjali immediately takes him in embrace as if never wants to let him go. Shyam begs an apology to her.Anjali requests him to stay back for 5 minutes as she called him from behind.

I can't believe being Arnav's sister, anjali is so superstitious.

La is delighted as ASR is working from home. There is a renovation going on in his office. But La why are you so happy girl? he doesn't even look at you, always roams around with his gussa. Anyway Anjali is also happy and wishes that her bro remains at home till the engagement. She still is skeptical with her bro's decision i guess. Anjali is feeling guilty as they are lying to Khushi and compelling her to come to RM, 'Hum safed jhooth bolrahi hai" Mami hears them and gets suspicious, "what safed Jhoot?' La intends to clarify her, but Anjali pinches her not to talk, cause she knows mami doesn't like Khushi. Anjali twists her words "safed jhoote" to "safed joothe" . Nincompoop La almost told mami the truth when the door bell rings. La gets happy, "chamkili is here." Nani gets annoyed that she called her chamkili, "her name is Khushi." La gets sad, "why are you scolding me, as chamkili is not here yet." Mami is smart. she suspects something is fishy. That was a nice name you gave La😆

Aranv opens the door and sees Khushi. But khushi is bravado, she is trying to act reluctant and confident. Both of them are incorrigible and not ready to give them passage to go. They do a round of moving left-right. My sexy boy gets irritated and gives her a bump with his shoulder and passer her. hmm, choone ka achcha bahana hai grumpy sexy boy! 👏 Give them a break. He was just engaged a couple of days back to Khushi and so far could not even get her alone. Only had her in arms once- of course as a newly engaged couple would want a bahana to touch her.

When khushi enters the house she hears nani's yelp at La, "why didn't you learn ramcharitmanas yet?" La is emulating her, "if it took long time to write the book, how can i learn everything in one day?" so she is indicating that khushi needs to come more days to teach her the religious book. Mami is perplexed at their promiscuity.

"hum to good girl ki jesan dal ke bare mein soch rahat thi, lekin yaha to pure ke pure menu cardva changia gawa, jhoot ke joothe ban gaye. gabbar aur thakur to best friend forever ban gayi, humko to doubt hobath hai, hello hi, bye bye"

translation: like a good girl i was thinking of daal, but here the whole menu card has been changed. lies has become shoes. Gabbar and Thakur has become best friends forever. I'm really doubtful, hello hi, bye bye.

When in their house mandir Khushi was teaching La to read the holly book, the phone rings. La requests khushi to receive the call, as her concentration may break. she actually needs some time to make new plan to refrain Khushi .Poor La I guess she never used that much of brain in her studies how she is using it in this matter.

It's Aman who called at the house phone as Arnav's phone is not reachable.He tells her that ASR's meeting is preponed and will hold at 12. Khushi sees the time is 10 minutes to 12. She thinks what to do as she can't talk to him. Right then she sees Arnav is coming. She rushes and stands right in front him. In order to maintain her taciturnity she tries to illustrate in sign language.She does all kinds of gestures to convey the message. Sanaya was looking absolutely adorable while doing this act. Such a brilliant actor she is! 👏👏👏My sexy boy is stupefied at her zany act. He makes a what the expression and leaves the place. I was also repeating what the. Even when I am very sad I just need to remember her face when she was bringing her hands down here, and her swami episodes were really awesomely hillarious.

pause: I wonder why Khushi didn't give the message to La or any other family member. The Raizada house is full of people. she easily could conveyed the message through anybody.I think she was yearning to see her Arnavji.😉

When La comes to give the geeta khushi sees, it's only 5 minutes left for his meeting. Khushi finds no other option but writes a note and keeps it on the table.La insists her to go with her, so she keeps the geeta beside the note on the table. When HP comes she points to the table ant tells him to give the note to Arnav to read it properly. Unfortunately the notes flies away with a wind. HP thought she told about the book. he takes the book and gives it to Arnav and tells him that khushi told him to read it properly. Aranv gets irritated with khushi, "is she crazy!" he already witnessed her zany act. 😆so it's exasperated him even more. But this new Prakash brother seems a little foolish. He tells him whether he should confirm it or not. Aranv gets more frantic, tells him to shut up and go.

Mami asks Anjali what is the matter, why phatti saree is still coming to RM as her work to teach La is completed. Anjali avoids her query and tells her that nani needs to talk to her about Akash's wedding. Mami gets happy and runs to her MIL.

La comes to the Kitchen to discuss about their next plan. La makes a plan to make nani mad with the food what she prepared. But Anjali is skeptical that the plan will not work as the food was good.

In the dining area Khushi asks HP that he gave Arnav the note or not. The foolish servant assures her that he gave it to him, but tells her that he was very angry. khushi can't find the reason of his anger, cause she doesn't know what HP gave it to him!

The food is served on the table and Khushi tells nani that La made it all and it smells delicious. But nani is inexorable, she is not ready to accept that the food is good, 'it's not necessary that if the smell is good the food has to be good." Mami is always there for La's support. so she affirms that the food is very tasty. she tastes all the dishes one by one and gives her thumbs up. khushi is also happy that La can cook well. Mami gets the chance to throw the arrow, "what i wanted to say that phatti saree doesn't need to come here anymore."

So true, real meaning of life only reaches to some. Payal is one of them ,in her bitter experience of broken marriage and then humiliation by Mamiji she can't cross the limits.Akash has no experience of that life as he can't see the true picture of her heart.Of coarse its easy for him to say that "pyar yeh sab dekh keh to nahin kya jata..pyar tou bas ho jata hai"[Love does not know any boundaries..it just happens] His thinking that he can seek forgiveness and love by giving gifts might work in some cases but not for practical Payal.Love the way he recreated every spending moment with her"All these things are linking me with you and these are very precious to me"..love seeing a teenage lover but his lover in more mature than him"Akashji aap aur mein khabi hum nahin ban sakte ..humare darmiyan koi rishta ho yeh aapke ghar walon ko khabi manzoor nahin hoga"[We can't be one because your family will not accept it.]'hmmm..kind a filmy dialogue to me but conveyed the message.Payal's pain is too much but true to reality just like Khushi "sapno ki duniya mein rehna hi aacha hai"[its good to be in Dram world] Ok didn't like wind thing with these either just like the other day with Shyam CVs is slacking here.This mehsoos is only for ARSHI'Period..

Ram Charitra Maanas [Krishna] is in the picture as during Janmashtami, Krishna did his games with "Makhan"[butter] and Jai Parakash and today again is playing with everyone and wants everyone to be a part of it.Naniji along with Anjali enjoying the game of bringing Khushi back to RM regardless feeling bad telling a lie to Khushi.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:during kindnapping when Arnav leaves for London and Khushi gets scared with her dream.Naniji discloses Arnav's naughtiness of his childhood with her .She also played tricks with Anjali mind before for briging Khushi back to RM[Epi 65]To her goat"tou kya aise hi hum ka sab Nani bulawat hain"[Ppl don't just call me Nani for no reason ..I keep some tricks under my sleeves] She likes Khushi because she sees herself in her'..Very Naughty Nani who knows how to dance too'.

good catch. she is naughty. of course a very good dancer. there is lot of similarities between nani and Khushi.

On dining tale La,"aap itna overacting I mean overreact kyuon kar rahi hain"[Why are you overacting 'I mean over reacting} I agree with La ,she was overacting'but again she wants to become a kid just like Khushi as she was becoming Arnav's playmate in the game of "No talky talky"[No talking]😆😆😆

Mamiji and her 007 detective skills were awesome .She did her research and finally got some solid prrofs against Nanijiand Anjali along with "note" with time 12:00 on it for ASR.Mamiji,""jaise humare tongue peh daragon tandav karat hai..."[ seems like a dragon is doing a mad dance on my tongue.]What a dialogue she got.

she always gets the good and significant dialogue.

House ladies are getting prepared for the engagement and that small piece of paper carrying time 12:00 is playing game around 'without anyone's intension''.But it served the purpose Anjali sent it to Arnav and he got his Khushi back under twinkling hearts.

Khushi makes Anjali calm,"woh ab theek hain"[He is fine now]Khushi leaves making ladies happy that she will be back''.

One more person is relaxed as a big burden got removed from him.Arnav after chatting with twinkling hearts he turns and gets tangled with one circle [chakarvyue is playing here as Khushi has entered]] the ring'

Arnav,"Whose ring is this?" After La's lala wish of her ring ,Anjali declares it looks like Shyamji's choice'She sure knows her hubby choice very well'La first time uses her brain,"it must be a surprise for you Di"..Anjali connects the dots of his weirdness about the receipt and thinks it is all about her..awww'Indeed Anjali it is surprise for you''

Khushi gets back home and Buaji's hawking eyes 😆😆😆are playing only one game these days"keeping an eye on THE RING"..She scolds at Khushi which seens less bothered about it as it has no value for her.Buaji you are right in this sense she is giving you vibes Nandkishore samjhio zara''as Khushi can accept your snoring but scolding 'DM is playing here Khushi along with Makhanchore in RM.

it seems like buaji's affection for the ring is more than Khushi. she is unbelievable. she is clearly seening Khushi's reluctance for the marriage, but still keeps pushing her. How relentless!

manipulative devil's mind is skilled in dirty games.

Look at his face how happy he is while she is scolding at him'..He was missing her anger so much just like she misses his'.love him here'.

Oh God what an observation! But loved the scene. Khushi is really valiant.

heat percolated the episode. there was fun and games, scenes provoking laughter, great timing and blocking seen often on the comic stage. yet there was that sense of hotness rising within. and it was not just to do with the chillies in the daal. what mami had said was true, the whole menu had been changed.

two people behaved like kids. won't talk to you. hah, gave him an important message, but instead of thank you, i get only gussa (of course, khushi has no idea that the ram charit manas and not the chit has reached him)... won't tell you there's loads of chilli in the daal, will act it out instead. and since i can't help but be concerned about you, let me try to get someone else to tell you.

oh, so she has made this daal, and la this one? then of course, i'll have the one made by la... but... but... "jaisa bhi hai. main yehi khaaoonga" however it is, this is the one i am going to eat.

while she watches horrified, he goes for the super hot daal. one spoonful and the heat hits. the man is evaporating almost at this temperature but nevertheless munching slowly... not giving up... she turns away... hiccc... up.

ah, she knows what's up, turns back with that see, i knew it look. well if he was even remotely considering desisting from the next spoon, that did it. the jawline is set.😆

"itna ghamand ki woh mirchi wali daal khalenge..." so arrogant, he'll eat the chilli daal but won't admit he's wrong. this is what should happen to such people... she is seething as she walks away.

silly though this game may seem, it is intimate. two people caught in their own little circle, a separate enclosure within a larger space. there only she exists for him and he for her. albeit now only in irritation, anger, yet only the two. as the ire rises, so does the blaze. never occurs to either of these fairly intelligent people that this is childish, they can walk away from it. I was laughing and thinking so our hotwa was enjoying watching Khushi's concern for his pain. So to watch her concern of course he can endure anything even eat some hot hot daal. That is nothing. Remembering how to see her concern for him he even hurt his leg- because he knew instinctively that she can not watch him in pain.

he's by the pool, yelling at someone on the phone, mad at missing the conference call. but some girl had been told that the time had been changed. immediately, memories of khushi leaping around in frantic dumb charade trying to tell him something. but he's had it with her, he turns away from the memory, only to find her standing right before him, trayful of things in hands.

they can't talk. all he can do is make a face. but she can't leave, because his mouth is burning and she has to do something about it.

why khushi? Because she loves him more then her own ego. I was wondering about Arnav's mom and thinking if she had been alive and if they were a couple of course his mom would have sent her to Arnav. So she had to go as she already had thought of herself as his wife and had to listen as a dutiful wife to MIL.

this man is rude to you. has done what he has that diwali night, told you categorically you mean nothing, koi matlab nahin, then after making sure your finger was secure, not bleeding any more, also told you he never wants to see your face or talk to you, now this ridiculous no speech condition is on. why do you care whether his mouth sizzles and goes up in flame or not?

he can't not hold you. you can't not care for him.👏 Loved this lines

but why get in so deep, let's play instead. sometimes it's just nice to be like kids. let it all out.

before she can help it, a tiny smile flickers... not good. he turns away. khushi clears throat, shows chilli, does the whole act, he is still burning, his expression reveals extreme discomfort and he just stands there watching her again... all that miming. why doesn't he leave? would he tolerate this from anyone else?🤔No Indi he would not.

she offers the glass of milk to soothe the burning... can't bear to watch this arrogant mean awful terrible laad governor kahin ke suffer.

he is perhaps ready to take a sip. advances slowly, accepts the glass, looks at her and... again that i'll show you confrontation, the to hell with you accent in it. splash! into the pool goes milk. 👏

and yet he will save her and feel things he has no idea what to do with... so will she.

and if everything were so funny and nothing else, would he approach her in their classic advance retreat movement again? and why would she walk backward, not turn away, and almost fall and he catch her and jerk her forward, close? still seething, still hurting but somehow wanting her even in that intense moment of physical pain and anger. 😉

later when khushi hears that he has asked hp for some milk, usually anathema to him, she is enraged, doesn't occur to her he has accepted her solution, just that he's rejected it from her hand. "pata nahin kahan ka laad governor samajhte hain apne aap ko," don't know he thinks he's the lg of which place. why was i feeling bad for him... he's getting milk... "uss lg ke na bahut nakhre hain..." that lg has too many hassles, what's wrong with my hands, are there worms on them that he wouldn't accept the milk i gave him?

oh she's mad at him. this is now personal. and she will retaliate. but again like a tween. he is talking on the phone. oh yeah? she brings out the metal pestle and mortar and starts banging loudly. disturbing him with joy. to emphasise her intent she looks at him, smiles sweetly, turns back and starts going at it with greater gusto.

he's furious. but helpless. his condition. no talking. now suffer.

only recourse, yell out to di. now how little boy is this. "di... di... i couldn't even hear myself..." so get this person to stop making noise. what noise, which person? she's disappeared, he's confused. who is 8 who is 14 and isn't di's comment terribly mother like? i was working, you disturbed me for nothing.

something about the whole episode takes us back to childhood and creates a space for mother to enter. and she is waiting right there, in those kangans nani reminds anjali of.

but that pesky girl is hiding behind the platform... and then she's caught. gotcha.

the walls adults build are usually too high. they hem us in, don't let us feel, stop the flow, the qi. for the beautiful moments ahead, i guess they had to feel the uncomplicated innocence of children in themselves. it's been so so long since asr has felt this simplicity. only khushi could reduce the mighty tycoon to endless khela... play. he makes her feel all woman, she helps him get back in touch with his inner child.

the importance of play in love can never be over emphasized. what was krishna doing but playing with his radha and the gopis all the time.

the chit made an interesting comeback and moved from hand to hand till anjali finally got what it meant.

my favourite from la today, "naniji aap itna overact... i mean aap itna overreact kyun kar rahi hain..." naniji why are you overacting so much, i mean over reacting today. got to agree, nani was overdoing a bit, la sensed it, so much is not needed. but of course, she makes enough hindi related mistakes to come out looking silly... poor la. but chilli idea was hers, so...

mami inshpektar did some don istyle talking and got to work. did a fantastic inspector clouseau-esque disclosing all to her nemesis nani, instead of phatti saree. she thought she'd been stumped, but the writers had given her the best lines as always. this episode, her gorgeous, "jaise humre tongue pe daragon tandav karat hai..." as though a dragon is doing a mad dance on my tongue. a tandav is about to begin and a fierce, practically mythical, creature it is that shall do it. dance begins this evening, 8pm.

natkhat nani... playful nani came up. in fact, the episode started with nani and anjali discussing all this mazak masti and tricks reminding them of being kids again and then averring all was for a good cause. but towards the end, a beautiful connection. nani and asr share another trait... playfulness... i read: child like innocence and intelligence (natkhat is always a krishna word somehow, thanks to epics, movies, songs, the works). he was a lively kid full of tricks and things once, a trait grandma proudly claims to be passed to him from her, "tabhi toh hum chhotey ke nani hain," that's why i'm chhotey's nani.

"Maanwan Thandiyan chawan" [mothers are like cool shades of trees].It is saying mothers hold kids hands for a while but their hearts forever.She is blessing on us from heaven on Earth and whose blessings always follow her child ,ALWAYS! As Emily Dickson says ,"A mother is the one to whom you hurry when you are troubled'".and that is so true in Arnav's case.He always seeks solace in his mother's lap in the GARDEN after her but still looking for love like her as mom's hug lasts long after she lets go and he's been missing that since he was 14.

A brother and a sister shared their moments of spending time with her and talked over her "Nishani" [mark] her kangan left for them.The noise of which was so peaceful for them as Mom's Lori[song to make kid's sleep].The peace holding such a piece in hands gets broken when Anjali triggered a scorching pain of ocean in him.

Khushi reaches to poolside and reads his pain written on her face as she can't take her eyes off of him.But she wants to leave him alone by obeying his wish his DEAL for not talking to him."Tou kya woh sach mein tare ban jante hain"'.....["so do they really become stars?"] He did not need to even look back to know it was Khushi and without even knowing that Anjali had told her about Mama's Kangan- he knew that she would know he meant their parents when he said- woh.

These innocent words just grab her heart,"Baat sach ya jhoot ki nahin hai baat yaqeen ki hai"[ Its all about Faith not truth or lie] .She comes close to him and they both look at the stars,twinkling hearts, their parents . Remembering the time when she repeated it during the telepathy conversation.

Pause here:Is he the same ASR who threw her out by saying :tum samjh sakti ho keh mein kya mehsoos kar sakta hoon"[You know how do I feel]on his parents' anniversary. Nice connection. He at that time did not know about Khushi's parents. However then a nice bond seemed to have formed as he learned and asked sorry from her.

Their connection with these twinkling hearts is since from the beginning,from Sheesh Mahal to Delhi night [1^st tu hi bata mere Maula]...Where his sis told him "eik din woh larki ayegi...[One day a girl will come in your life...] till Tota huwa tara night after she left him and he wishes for her to come back and Di asks his wish in her prayer ,"aisa jeevan saathi mile jo inke sab dukh door karde.."[a life partner who can relieve him from all the pains] ...journey of Di's wish becomes that partner's heartbeat who makes him realize these twinkling tiny bodies have heart of someone who thinks her deceased parents are shining on her in between there and not just a silly romantic nonsense which became a sizzling romantic moment during Diwali night under the stars..These silent communication tools brought them together and provided them strength when they needed each other the most.These silent night riders got their heartbeat during telepathy of their confession .There are many many moments of their silent communication through these twinkling hearts but the most amazing was when he smiles upon her command as if she says "look Arnavji your Mom wants you to just SMILE."👏 Very beautifully said. During this emotional roller coaster ride,it does not seem these two who share every rhythm of their heart beat, were playing hide and seek with each others in this game of "who will get tagged first in this Deal of no talking".

He was just like a kid if you are not talking with me I am eating this'...in his Zid [stubbornness] Khushi,"mirch wali dal kha laingay par apni galati nahi manengey" [In his ego he will eat spicy food but will not accept his mistakes]''...hmmm''...Why do you care Khushi'.."Kyuon fadak padta hai"[Why matters to you] and what mistake the one he did breaking your heart announcing his engagement with La'...hmmm..isn't it'...and you are feeling bad for him while he told you "mere liye uss baat ka koi matlab nahin hai"[that thing doesn't matter to me.]'...but he cares for me and he indeed bound me with the bandage'...and that's all makes a difference for her'...

She got the message from Aman and delivered to him in Khushi style but his amusement behind fake anger was amazing.He gets the message late and it frustrates him for her not talking to him regardless the proposal of this DEAL was his'...hmmm.interesting'..as this deal of his the most LOUSY one ever'...👏

It does matter to Khushi'...She brings milk for her Akhroo ,gets her attention through "mirchi".seee'...and shows him a real kid in him while mimicking his way of eating Mirchi wali Dal[eating spicy dal] in his childish style.But one thing sure she is enjoying his "chup" as even in anger he can't shout at her and its not gone unnoticed by him either.👏

He still have that "seee" sensation and taste around his lips and wants to throw that burning sensation at her for every gesture she makes but stops at her sweetness with which is holding milk for him ,yes she cares'...but her not talking with him is not settling with this seee'...and at the top how can I lose his own DEAL ,no way.its a war till his last seee breath'... and with those burning eyes he moves forward and threw the milk in the pool in the most stylish way.She stunned at his act but he is not done yet'...moving forward to intimidate her, she as usual moves backward till stumbles upon the edge of the pool but he wouldn't let her fall would he..He grabs her hand and pulls her towards him till she hits his hard core.Both share fatal intensity [as he is asking why don't you break the deal and talk and she is saying I won't until you break it ] till she pulls her hands off and leaves him following her trail'..Still not talking'...but he made her feel his intensity for her'..

I must say Barun and Sanaya are superb here..Barun's expressions eating Dal are too good.

Symbolisms and connection: #12 is playing its role'...Milk represents purity meaning Khushi and Arnav throws milk in the pool as he will be pointing fingure at her purity,her innocence during forced marriage'...but he saved her following in the dirty pool as he will save her from Shyam.👏

The milk in the pool,"Humare haat mein keede lagain hain kya"[are there worms in my hand]but he asks HP to bring milk to just bug her up [as well show his care what she does'..]so she would start her blabbering with anger and he has a chance to punish her in his DEAL style but She stops at "iss LG keh na bohat Nakhre hain"[LG is too egoistic].Ok what happened to the part couple of minutes ago,"pata nahin kahan keh LG samjhte hain apne aapko"[I don't what the heck he thinks of himself]. Seriously she looks adorable saying that both times as she is missing this burning talking with him too just like He knows she can't be quiet for long.The war is getting personal with each move and getting heated too and now needs some weapons'..

Weapons have been chosen yes mortar and pestle instead of sword and gun'..She takes her revenge by irritating him with "tha tha" banging noise in dhamakadar side looks at him and his helplessness and suffering is too cute'even Di couldn't help him.Khushi and her [madness]"bewaqoofian" gives him chance to grab her again.She tries to leave but he pins her down against the wall from one end and then ready to snap but DEAL seals his lips perfectly and poor wall gets the stamp of this deal as a smack.

Khushi and her smirk did not go unnoticed and to adore that smile he gives her his signature turn look by keeping his grouchiness and leaves by flaring his nostrils'..She is so happy and he lets her to be'how sweet'..Only Khushi can get away with mighty ASR wrath and why not she is the one who awakes his inner child and he is the one who brings her internal femininity . 😃 Yes and was wondering SARUN can create a chemistry in between when they are not even speaking with each other or touching each other. That is the beauty of IPK.

His grouchiness ,his gussa, his ego melts away with tears in the memory of his Mother which in return melts away the DEAL in between them and Arnav,"Kya woh humain dekh keh khush hain"[are they happy to see us?] Bingo '..He wants her to say yes as he wants that confirmation that her parents are happy to see them together from her and then "kya meri maa mujhe dekh kar khush hai.."[Is my mother happy to see me?] He knows she believes in these twinkling hearts and he wants her to say YES'.

And she confirms it all and much more by mingling her teary hearts with him'.till she couldn't take it any more.Her concern is always Arnav's welfare just his is hers.,"aap theek tou hain na"[are u sure u ok] .. Life plays hide and seek all the time and its an art to learn when to hide and when to seek or in other words how to seek hidden parts of life to stay in this spinning game.Life is not a game and as Oscar wild says

So true, real meaning of life only reaches to some. Payal is one of them ,in her bitter experience of broken marriage and then humiliation by Mamiji she can't cross the limits.Akash has no experience of that life as he can't see the true picture of her heart.Of coarse its easy for him to say that "pyar yeh sab dekh keh to nahin kya jata..pyar tou bas ho jata hai"[Love does not know any boundaries..it just happens] His thinking that he can seek forgiveness and love by giving gifts might work in some cases but not for practical Payal.Love the way he recreated every spending moment with her"All these things are linking me with you and these are very precious to me"..love seeing a teenage lover but his lover in more mature than him"Akashji aap aur mein khabi hum nahin ban sakte ..humare darmiyan koi rishta ho yeh aapke ghar walon ko khabi manzoor nahin hoga"[We can't be one because your family will not accept it.]'hmmm..kind a filmy dialogue to me but conveyed the message.Payal's pain is too much but true to reality just like Khushi "sapno ki duniya mein rehna hi aacha hai"[its good to be in Dram world] Ok didn't like wind thing with these either just like the other day with Shyam CVs is slacking here.This mehsoos is only for ARSHI'Period..

Ram Charitra Maanas [Krishna] is in the picture as during Janmashtami, Krishna did his games with "Makhan"[butter] and Jai Parakash and today again is playing with everyone and wants everyone to be a part of it.Naniji along with Anjali enjoying the game of bringing Khushi back to RM regardless feeling bad telling a lie to Khushi.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:during kindnapping when Arnav leaves for London and Khushi gets scared with her dream.Naniji discloses Arnav's naughtiness of his childhood with her .She also played tricks with Anjali mind before for briging Khushi back to RM[Epi 65]To her goat"tou kya aise hi hum ka sab Nani bulawat hain"[Ppl don't just call me Nani for no reason ..I keep some tricks under my sleeves] She likes Khushi because she sees herself in her'..Very Naughty Nani who knows how to dance too'.😆

Mamiji and her 007 detective skills were awesome .She did her research and finally got some solid prrofs against Nanijiand Anjali along with "note" with time 12:00 on it for ASR.Mamiji,""jaise humare tongue peh daragon tandav karat hai..."[ seems like a dragon is doing a mad dance on my tongue.]What a dialogue she got.

House ladies are getting prepared for the engagement and that small piece of paper carrying time 12:00 is playing game around 'without anyone's intension''.But it served the purpose Anjali sent it to Arnav and he got his Khushi back under twinkling hearts.

Khushi makes Anjali calm,"woh ab theek hain"[He is fine now]Khushi leaves making ladies happy that she will be back''.

One more person is relaxed as a big burden got removed from him.Arnav after chatting with twinkling hearts he turns and gets tangled with one circle [chakarvyue is playing here as Khushi has entered]] the ring'Just a thought. So the ring was left near Arnav after Khushi introduced him to her parents and of course his mother was a witness- maybe the ring was for him to give her.

Arnav,"Whose ring is this?" After La's lala wish of her ring ,Anjali declares it looks like Shyamji's choice'She sure knows her hubby choice very well'La first time uses her brain,"it must be a surprise for you Di"..Anjali connects the dots of his weirdness about the receipt and thinks it is all about her..awww'Indeed Anjali it is surprise for you''😕

part one

for the first time perhaps, ever since that night at sheeshmahal, he made eye contact with someone and allowed them into his world of maa.

he could never tell anyone what it did to him. he possibly never told himself too much about it. just a searing unscalable pain in his heart, his head, his being, trapped in a nightmare, unuttered in a scream. there it stayed. him its prisoner, in solitary confinement.

even with di, he remained closed about this. classic body language as di spoke of their mother, and his eyes fixed a bit away from all, struggling with agony. he had never thought her kangan, gold bangles she wore all the time, would become a part of the conversation around lavanya and engagement. and now, suddenly, on the back of a simple request by di to check for something in the locker, they were right here, before his eyes. di could talk about it, reminisce, cry at least. all he could do was remember what these meant to him.

the sound of kangan that felt like lullaby. now lost forever.

"unki khanak mein itna sukoon tha, lagta tha jaise saare din ki thakawat utar gayi ho..." in their clinking there was so much peace (sukoon suggests a sense of the sweetest peace in the heart to me), you felt the day's tiredness melt away. the words came out of his mouth as memory swamped him. and then their attendant hurt pain madness. he was not ready to go into it before anyone.

"agar maa tumhe aaj dekhti toh..." if maa saw you today, di starts to say as she finishes reading the letter written in fun but with astute advice by a mother to her son's future wife, he doesn't let her finish her sentence. "pehchaan bhi nahin paati mujhe..." she wouldn't even recognise me, he completes her sentence. cool, dead voice, a giving up and ending in it. nothing functions within, his life detaches, his pulse goes down, this is a territory he doesn't want to enter. maa.

he leaves the room.

she saw him as he strode out. red rimmed, tear filled eyes. the boy who was banging the pillar near her head just minutes ago, snarling because he couldn't shout at her. not talking to each other, part of their current deal proposed by him. and she'd been banging the mortar and pestle as hard as possible to disturb him while he spoke on the phone to take revenge for his meanness. in an instant everything changed. a man in pain, and a girl shocked to see him thus.

mirchi and its heat entered the scene again as in previous episodes, there were chillies drying outside that needed to be collected, and no, khushi would not take those kangans of maa meant for her daughter in law from anjali, she'd rather get the chillies in. chillies had taken them to the poolside before. he'd insisted on not listening to her and wolfed down fiery hot daal. and she'd come with something to soothe his burning mouth: cold, calming milk.

but this time chillies would take us to a soothing of the heart. to a reaching out for sukoon. the one he lost. the one he sometimes feels around him. and yet he doesn't know how to stretch out for it. tonight someone seemed to show him the way.

"toh kya woh sach mein taare ban jaate hain..." so do they really become stars. on an evening when he'd gone seeking forgiveness for hurting someone terribly and been tongue tied, not knowing how to say the word, he'd felt the touch of a heart that felt like his. an empathy. no one understands how it feels to cremate both parents and come home, no one understands the nature, the blow of this passing. but she did. for she had been there. and she believed her parents were always there, in those faraway sparkling stars. in another dimension, but always there.

that evening, he had finally found the word he'd looked for desperately. sorry, he'd said. and with that perhaps a door had opened, a letting in of someone into a space kept tightly shut for so long.

tonight, the door seemed to open a bit more.

no rancour... no challenge... no arrogance... no deal... just a simple question to the one who his heart says might have the answer. he seemed to hear his heart after a long time, and listened to it.

curiously, no sexual tension, just a need, a reaching out for assurance. a trust in him, almost childlike... as though certain her answer can make make the difference.

maa ke kangan had its khanak, perhaps khushi's presence, her clear eyed beliefs, her cleanness unmarked by anything worldly, her unsophisticated but pristine sincere words has that sukoon in it.

"baat sach ya jhoot ki nahin hai... baat yakin ki hai." she sensed his need instantly, she felt for him, two people connected by traumatic loss, by tragedy. she had found a way and it was built on faith. we split our world into true and false, black and white, good and bad, but can we ever know the whole truth or the whole false for that matter? how far does sensory perception and validation of "fact" based on the gathering of physical evidence really take us? is that all there is to life? how do you prove stars are not the twinkle of parents looking back at you? how do you prove love?👏 Nicely said

she tells him the heart of her knowledge... it's not about whether it's true or false, it's about belief. later she will say the next word in that family... vishwaas... faith.

"humara dil humse kahta hai ki woh tara humari ma hain, aur uske saath wala, humare babuji... hamesha hume dekhte rahte hain..." my heart tells me that that star is my mother, and the one next to it is my father... they look at me always... hamesha.👏 Really a very epic way of introducing the person you love to your parents.

another secret of life she gives back to him, one his sister has mentioned before but he wasn't paying heed.

this time he doesn't laugh it off or deride the sentiment.

he has a question. he wants so much to believe, and almost like one looking to be led, he looks at her who shows him the path back to life and living. 👏 I think I almost felt his parents and hers witnessing her introducing him to her her parents. It seemed at the very moment both set of parents gave the ring as a present to Arnav to put in her finger.

"kya woh humey dekhkar khush hain... kya meri maa mujhe dekhkar khush hai?" are they happy to see us? then his real question... is my mother... the slightest hesitation on maa, as though unable to say, unable to share, and then it comes out... is my mother happy to see me? He asked as if sure the answer was no when he asked are our parents happy seeing us like this not speaking with each other, with huge egos and not expressing our love.

the only woman he ever felt so loved by, the only one he so loved, can she see him, is she proud of him, is he doing right? he isn't lost, is he? she will recognise him, won't she? he hasn't changed that much, has he?

how many questions did his heart ask? why did i feel his fear? why did i feel his hope. was that just an actor? or was he the voice of all of us who had lost and were looking for our stars? Probably. I do not of course believe in dead people becoming stars, but I do have feel that when we really are upset and remember them they come near us and listen to us.

and then he turned and looked at her. letting her right in. no one till now had been allowed this access.

it felt like shubhadrishti, a quaint custom in the bengali wedding, when under a canopy, usually made of a linen towel (quaintness extreme aha) beneath the sky and the stars, the bride and the bridegroom look at each other for the very first time. a custom from the days when you never met the one you'd marry before that moment, and if you were a girl you were so young, you had to be carried on a "piri," a little flat wooden stool.

perhaps khushi couldn't trust herself to linger there anymore, perhaps her heart was telling her to show him things she was too shy to show, she sounded a bit awkward, unsure as she mumbled something, then went back to the chillies... but before she left, she did look back and asked him what usually he asked her... aap theek toh hai na. you're okay, aren't you.

somewhere along the way, without much ado, he had become her concern... always.

perhaps khushi didn't need to read that letter from maa. she already knew what was in it.

"dhyaan rakhiyega aur savdhaan rahiyega... humare chhotey ke naak pe bahut saara gussa rahata hai aur dil me bahut saara pyaar.gussa bardash karna ... aur pyaar, pyaar sood samet lautana."

pay attention and be careful... our chhotey has tonnes of anger on his nose and a tonnes of love in his heart. tolerate the anger... and the love, return that love with interest . I think those are lines which were some of the epic lines in IPKKND. I also believe Khushi did not need the letter to tell her what was the content. She was probably pushed by his mom's soul to come and witness that he was in distress and only Khushi can heal all his pain.

i watched barun's reactions as theletter was read and somehow i could almost see his mother there in his delineation through turned away face, still body, glazing eyes, ever so slightly trembling lips and an endlessness in his gaze. 👏
