Ts - Perfect two.
"Khushi you are coming with me to Lucknow. Pack your bags this instance!" -My mother screamed at me from the kitchen.
"Amma please don't do this to me. I am busy. There's college, the project and other crap. Please? Babujee ko le jao na?" -I tried to save my self from this trip.
"He has some business deal this time and he can't come to the wedding." - My mother came and stood by my room door and put her hands on her waist.
"Oh, so he lied good enough and saved himself from going there?" -I mumbled under my breath but my mother...she had sharp ears. VERY sharp ears I tell you.
"I heard that. Now pack your bags because we are going to Lucknow for the wedding this evening." -My mother said before storming out to the kitchen.
It was our old neighbor's son's wedding. I hate them. Aman, his name was Aman. He was a few years elder than me but I hated him so bad that I wanted to shove that street light pole that was opposite to our Lucknow Haveli up his ass. And my father, Shashi Gupta had obviously escaped from this. I don't know how but he had put me in this trap. I don't like him for this and I will tell Amma about the chocolates he has hidden behind the fridge. Just for Revenge because revenge is sweet. He had escaped from this because Mathur that is Aman's father was an I-will-hug-you-to-death type person and my father always ran away from him. My father was always the victim.
I was stuck, big time!

Later this evening I was being forced out of my lovely little room to the car which was outside. My father winked at me once I sat in the back seat. Now we had set of to Lucknow the wedding I didn't want to go to.

"Khushi once you are ready come down-stairs okay?" - My cousin Payal said as she typed on her phone.
"Yeah, okay." - I said as I tried to adjust my left ear's earring. As I had just been able to fix it when a wild kid, one of those who just run around weddings ruining everything and stepping on things and dresses, bumped into me and my left earring fell on the ground.
"Ugh... shit! Can't you see?" -I yelled to the now empty door way. I heard his laugh right after my comment.
I picked the earring up and inspected it closely to see if any bead had been gone missing when suddenly Payal came running to me and eventually scared the shit out of me.
"Khushiii!" -She screamed.
"What the hell? Payal, what is wrong? You scared me!" -I roared at her.
"I don't care. You know who is here? Arnav Singh Raizada!" -I ignored her I-don't-care comment and listened to her as she spoke between her heavy breaths.
"Who the hell is that?" -I asked squinting my eyes.
"OH MY GOD! You DID NOT just say that!" -Her eyes widened and she backed away a little. I made an annoyed face and started to look at my earring again. "Okay I'll ignore you said that and I'll cut the chase." -She sighed and came in front of me and continued. "You remember that guy when we lived here a few years ago who came here with his family to settle down here but later moved back to Delhi. Arnav? He had a crush on you and you hated him for that. Actually you hate all the guys. Um.. Let's not even go there. But now does it ring a bell?" -Payal said in a breathe. She talked more than me. Blabbered actually.
"Ughh- why did you remind me of him? He was ugly and I don't hate all the guys" -I said and sat down to put the earring on.
"UGLY? DUDE! HE SMILED AT ME AND I DIED! HE IS SO HOT!" -Payal screamed like an insane person. Actually nobody in Lucknow is sane.
"Don't care, never will, don't have to." - I sighed and continued to put my earring on. I never got these earrings right.
"Fine but you'll regret saying all that crap. Bye!" -Payal said and danced out of the room.
"Bye!" -I whispered and my earring had finally stuck to my ear and I hope it stayed.
I wore a purple and orange ghagra-choli. The choli, was purple with a silver bead work on it. The back was open, a little, with a dhori to hold it in place. And the orange ghagra reached just above my anklets and the duppatta I had adjusted just enough to hide my waist and my back. It was too exposed but I let it be after seeing others where the same thing.
I stepped out of the room and in to the corridor. I saw girls giggling and laughing looking at the guys. I don't know what was wrong with them.
I walked a few steps to go downstairs when my earring slipped out of my ear and I was expecting it to fall on the ground but it didn't. I had scrunched my eyes because I knew this time it would break into tiny pieces. But I felt some one turn me around hold my right fore-arm with warm manly hands. MANLY? I opened my eyes in shock to witness a tall guy with broad shoulder, with the most expressive eyes wearing plain black shalwar-kameez holding my earring with one hand and the other one holding my arm..
Part two to be posted by tomorrow hopefully!
