Rabba vey's sad tone makes the ambiance heavy. Khushi looks at him with teary eyes. there is lot of question in there. but she lost all her right to ask him anything. Khushi's pain knows no bound. the night of diwali should be the happiest night, but khushi is drowning in the ocean of grief. She is shredding lonesome tears. How it goes unnoticed by Arnav! He is also reeling under the effects of a complex melange of emotions that are making him deranged. he is also crying, breaking into pieces from inside. When their eyes meet Khushi gets more vulnerable. people's incessant congratulations are piercing her heart with severe pain. She runs to get out from the place. she is feeling suffocated. But a friendly pull makes her stop. "are you crying? why are you looking so upset? aren't you happy for me?"La is skeptical to see her teary eyes. Khushi controls herself immediately, "this is tear of happiness. I'm so happy for you." But La looks incredulous, "but you still look upset" Khushi tries to divert her, "I'm sad cause you will not need me any more. You learnt everything." two friends hug each other. La shows her gratitude," it's possible just because of you.I'll miss you" Khushi congratulates her, "you are so lucky that got the person you love." Arnav is bidding the guests bye, when his sight catches Khushi hugging La with teary eyes. He keeps starring at Khushi. He is scrutinizing her keenly. when Khushi tells La that she is happy for her, he gulps as if he is trying to absorb her pain. both their eyes meet intently. Khushi breaks the hug and wish to leave. But la is not ready to let her go. she drags her inside. They passes and again both Arnav and Khsuhi exchange look. after the moment that they shared, her indifference has summed almost sacrileges in his eyes.
Nani is delectable as her wish finally came true. she feeds her first sweet to Khushi, congratulates her ,"it's possible just because of you." Khushi pretends to be happy. she is acting extra jovial. she congratulates everybody by feeding them sweets. when she comes near mami, as usual she denies and reminds her that there is no need of her in RM any more. Arnav looks agitated to hear that. She is so busy in her acting that didn't notice that when she came in front of Arnav. She is still holding the plate of sweet. She gives him a fake pleasing smile. La reminds her that ASR can't have sweet. Anjali intervenes and gets sugar free sweets for him and tells him that khushi made it for him. Arnav is studying her with a distinctively calculative glances. He is trying to see the depth of her pain. Khushi can't look in his eyes any more, she needs to go out from the place as soon as possible. she bids bye to Anjali. but Anjali doesn't want to let her go alone, "today is the night of diwali, there should be fire crackers everywhere, or moreover, you don't know what kind of people will be around in the street."Arnav looks tensed too. He also doesn't want to let go khushi alone. But Khushi doesn't need any one right now.she needs isolation from everybody.
Shyam is pacing in tension in his room, thinking what to do. Anjali enters with a big smile on her face. she hugs him and gives him the good news that Arnav agreed for marriage and nani also accepted La. Shyam gets happy, "That means that girl taught her everything and she doesn't need to come to RM any more." Anjali nods yes and tells him to go downstairs to congratulate Arnav. but shyam hesitates as he is scared to face khushi. He gives the excuse of his health and tells that he is not supposed to go in front of the guests. Anjali assures her that all the guests are gone and drags him out.
Nani is asking la to call her parents. they need to fix the date as soon as possible. Anjali drags Shyam to the hall. But she is still precarious. he asks whether Khushi is gone or not. anjali tells him that she is also gone but gets surprised at the same time why did he ask about khushi. Sly shyam twists his words, "you always wanted to meet her with me. so I asked. may be next time.
Shyam congratulates Arnav "congratulation Mr. Arnav singh Raizada." La comes and leans her head on his shoulder, "Mr. and Mrs. Arnav singh raizada." Mami gets so happy to see them together and suggests them to do the engagement on the next day and then the marriage on day after. Arnav was mum, veneering for a long time, when he heard everybody is planning for the marriage he breaks his silence, "enough, I just agreed to marry, never said that gonna marry tonight. so plz stop looking for the date and stop booking the ticket for the honeymon.' He huddles fast from the place. all the family members get shocked to see his out burst. their happiness turn to sadness in a moment. la gets terribly upset and runs to her room. can't the Raizadas see how upset Arnav is!
pause: Arnav said to marry la at the spur of the moment. he actually didn't want to marry La. he just told it to hurt Khushi. when he found that He can not control his feelings for Khushi and Khsuhi also came to know his weakness, he took a drastic decision to get engaged with la. he thought, this is how he will forget khushi and she also will hate him. but Khushiko bhulna to na mumkin hai. Arnav wants to petrify himself again, but his love is so strong that won't allow him to do it.
Khushi is forlorn, sauntering slowly in the street recollecting today's event, how Arnav puts the ankle on her foot, how he intended to kiss her, then his announcement to marry La. She is terribly pensive, tears are rolling down on her beautiful cheek.
Arnav is driving the car, Khushi's questions are reverberating in his mind,"why did you keep my anklet? what is the meaning of that?' he screeches the car in a halt in front of khushi. She turns in a jolt and sees him. he gets down and tells her to get in. Khushi pretends to be happy to see him. when he asks her to get in the car she refuses, "I'll go by myself." Arnav opens the door and says her in imperative tone "shut up and get in." khushi doesn't find any way but gets in his car, she breaks the silence,' i forgot to congratulate you. a big congratulation for you and Lavanyaji." I'm so happy for you two."
Arnav's anger is pulsating, -so you are happy
Khushi- yeah, why shouldn't I? I also wanted this.
Arnav- you also wanted this? really?
Khushi- yes i'm very happy. it's good that you are dropping me home. you have to meet my parents. they will be happy to hear that.
Arnav- you were asking something a while ago
Khushi tries to hide her pain as much as possible, "hum me! no I don't need to know anything."
Arnav- you asked about your payal
Khushi- it's nothing important. I'm happy that you and Lavanyaji are getting married. Finally nani accepted Lavanyaji.
Arnav- so you don't need to know about the anklet.
Khushi is still trying to avoid to talk about it
Khsuhi- nani was telling there will be engagement soon and after that marriage. you and Lavanyaji look so good together.
Khushi's pretense exasperated Arnav so much that makes him screeches the car in a halt.

Khushi is stunned, tears are welling up in her eyes.
Arnav- what are you watching? I say get out.
she looks outside and finds that he parked the car in front of her house. She gets down but her pallu as usual sticks in his car. when she tries hard to pull it, her wallet falls down on the car seat. Finally when she manages to extricate it, she runs to her house, but don't forget to look back for the last time. rabba vey in piano intensifies her sadness more. Arnav drives back fast. when he stops the car in a halt he sees Khushi's wallet near his feet. he picks it, thinks something for a moment and throws it in anger.
Nani is very upset. She is confusedabout Arnav's decision, "he made me happy by agreeing to marry la and at the next moment made me sad by denying for marriage. God knows what's happening in his mind?" Shyam tries to make her understand that he is disturbed as everything is happening so fast. He suggest her to give him some time. Anjali aslo agrees him "we should be happy that chote at least agrees for engagement. soon he will agree for marriage too. " Nani consoles herself, "fine let's make the arrangement for engagement, after that hopefully chote will agree for marriage too."
In GH buaji is forcing khushi to marry Shyam, "tell me any valid reason to refuse Shyam." Khushi is silent. she is already in convulsion, buaji's words making her more perturbed. Babuji wants to say something. but poor man unable to express a single word. Suddenly the door bell rings. Khushi opens the door and sees Arnav is standing there.
