Arshi, putting myself to the danger of some tomatoes, Payal was the sanest and most mature among all the women folk of her age around there. Her simplicity combined with her inner strength to match up to that of her sister without ever going over board made her my most fav. She was always there at important moments for her sister initially. And imparted some much needed realism into her little sister's endless dreams "kahan se layegi aisa bewakoof"!! She NEVER gave into Akash's intrusions like you said here with her head firmly on her shoulders. And the way she put both Raizada brothers in place at Lotus cafe was truly praise worthy. Although, she was made foolish along with many later on with chameli oils and high heels, given proper treatment, she could have been THE pillar for Khushi in her hrs of distress!
Totally agreed with you but don't you felt it was the shift in the story for her same way as Anjali .Payal ended up with no dialogues so with all you said my point is it's the writers who changes these characters so drastically and the consistency of the story was kind a lost so the characters ownership which we adore from the beginning became like they are different than the original.No tomatoes you have a valid point here and those chamkili and chambaili things did not make sense.
This is THE telling moment for Khushi. The writers didn't at all do justice to her when she comes back with black magic the next day. Would have loved if she accepted yet deliberately pushed those feelings away. Would have been so womanly! In fact, we won't see any of those until she stas by that pool side during kidnapping.

Arshi, loved your analyses. And, thanks for sharing about your father's and hence your connection with numerology. But I must say, you have got your own interest and learned it as it is certainly not hereditary but should be adapted. Kudos to you for that. Thoroughly enjoyed the reads. My comments in blue.
