Episode 116

Separate Ways

She's actually leaving he will not see her ever again. Lavanya asks Di why she has left so early and Di tells her she is going to the temple. He hears. He looks at the table and she has left something for him on the table, his key and her blood. He wants to throw the damn key away but remembers when and where it came from and how she held it for him. He sees her blood and whispers her name, Kushi. He is reminded how he forcefully held on to her and let her go with that same force. She must have hurt herself on the glass when leaving the key and when he let go.

Kushi goes to the temple and asks DM to help her forget the past and help her think about the future. She is not going back to the house to see that LG face. They have gone separate ways she will not think about him even accidentally. She asks for her blessings and she knows she has got something good in store for her. Oh yes she does! The conch sounds, affirmation that the auspicious time for Kushi's engagement has begun. A gust of wind, a speeding SUV, a man with a mission all dressed in his suit as if going to a party'an engagement party?

As she is leaving the mandir, she becomes entangled in her dupatta; the winds has blown it covering her face and as she detangles herself her veil comes down to see him in front of her. Sunglasses slowly taken off, he stands before her.

In the GH Shyam is serving Buaji and Garima tea and Buaji tells him they went to the priest and the auspicious time is 6 PM that evening but it looks like Kushi isn't home so it can't occur.

He softly calls her name, "Kushi."

She walks away and he now more forcefully calls her, "Kushi! I need to talk to you! You can not just leave."

"Why can't I go it is my own life," she says and she can go anywhere she likes. She doesn't work for him anymore. He has no right to give her orders.

This strikes a cord with him, of course he has every right, ah but no he gave that up when he said he was going to marry Lavanya. Poor boy, so confused. She challenges him by arguing what he is going to do. She turns to leave and he grabs hold of her, in frontof everyone, in front of the mandir. She asks him what is he doing and to let her go but she is saved by him when he finally realizes and releases her. He slides his hand down her arm and reaches her bandaged hand that is wrapped lovingly by her dupatta. He unwraps it and sees her wounded finger.

Buaji is telling Shyam that engagement should occur today at 6PM but it looks like Kushi isn't home so it can't occur.

He says quietly that she is hurt. She steps back, so, what do you care? He tells her to stop fussing and reaches for her hand. Shje tells him he doesn't have to worry about her and to leave she doesn't want to talk to him. He tells her through gritted teeth to stop making a scene and she throws those words right back at him. You are making a scene! When I said' he grabs her hand. He came prepared; he reaches in his pocket, "leave my hand", sternly looking at her he, takes out his hanky and gently wipes her bloody wound. All the while in between ouches and oohs she looks at him stunned. Why is he doing this? They have gone separate ways.

He is quiet, serious, taking care of her wound gently, it is what he must do, he needs to take care of this girl at any cost. It doesn't matter if they have "officially" gone separate ways.

Back at the GH Buaji is complaining about having to wait for the engagement. Shyam asks himself, "Kushi where are you?"

She is getting engaged to another and not in the usual way! DM has plans for Arnav and Kushi and it began a long time ago but is now officially beginning, even though not in the obvious way, their relationship is now on the path to be enjoined. It IS the auspicious time, it is her left finger, it is at the mandir, pooja and chanting is happening and the conch has sounded, the bells are ringing and the offering has been taken, atleast by one of them.

Why do you come to the temple to disregards God, she says. He doesn't believe in God he says. She says she forgot the great Arnav Singh Raizada doesn't believe in God oh yes that is right he is a god. He tells her to remember he alone writes his destiny. She says to him to keep in mind that everything he thinks he wrote in his destiny was because he held her hand, which was encouraged by the Goddess; her hand was in it. By the time he realizes this she will be gone. Why wait he says to her. She hit a cord with him now he has to push her away again. He doesn't want to see her or speak to her. "I want you out of my life. And this is certainly my hand, Kushi Kumari Guipta!"

She is hurt but she won't show him; not anymore and she repeats his words, she doesn't want to see him or speak to him, Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada.

And they part and go separate ways.

Tell me Lord, Tell me Lord,

'..show them the way to be together'.

Meanwhile a spider is till weaving his web. He tells Babuji he will find a way to engage Kushi today. He throws his real medication away and proceeds to give him something to make him sick.

Buaji tells Kushi they fixed the engagement date and she looks shocked she is definitely not ready for this. It is happening way to fast.

Shyam screams Buaji, Uncle! They all run in and Babuji is having a difficult time. Kushi goes to call the doctor. Buaji asks what happened and Shyam says he just told him about the engagement not happening. That was all it took for Buaji to go off. Kushi comes back with his medicine and says doctor says to give it again. He never took it in the first place Kushi. Damn that smurky Shyam!

I wish they would go separate ways!

Khushi's Engagement PART -3

Continue from Part -2

Tu Hi Bata Mere Maula-5th time

Egoistic and narcissistic ways of Arnav and Shyam are making a rose, a pearl , and a pure soul muddled and crushed but the only thing is making a difference is Shyam's covetous and avaricious acts over Arnav's altruistic ,benevolent, timid ,caring and bleeding heart acts in this process.Arnav's discontent ,anxiety , and tizzy dither over hers during engagement was unbearable and that's make a BIG difference.

very well said. Both Arnav and Shyam oppressed Khushi.

Tu Hi Bata Mere Maula-5th time

Gar pyar inn ko keenche takrar inn ko roke'Raba

Symbolisms and connection:Khushi and Arnav walking away with the promise for not seeing each other under the SUN , but parents know how to make things work along with DM who is watching every move to turn it around and above all Krishna is joining the team to bring this atheist at one voice "Hari" as other meaning of Hari is "SUN "[Indi and Rebecca that's why Hari Prakash is coming which I've been pointing out all along] and above all one of Hari's meaning is "ISHQ" as Arnav's eye of love is going to see things in that flame which is going to burn him to make him realize "What is he doing?" in his jealousy where he is at the verge of losing her and that fear just like "Hamesha keh Liye" is too unbearable for him.Hari is the name of Krishna and Vishnu who takes away all the distress and anxieties and he will be releasing his and hers distress all along.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:The payesh wedding is one of the biggest distress will be solved in this way after realization "tou who sach keh rahi thi"[She was telling the truth] which started in epi 1st.[TRUST is sneaking in]

Yuon to bade hain. inke kadam inhain rashta tuhi dikha..Rabba

Walking in the same direction parallel meaning they will be together in hate or love

Shyam's plan is bringing fruit to him as Buaji ,his biggest pawn is declaring he does not need any Mahuraat ...announcing the same as Arnav thinks he is God and he writes other people's destiny along with him and Shyam too as he can play around with people's destiny to make his own .During and after engagement his bracelet was so much visible as always.

The part which I loved was this parallel scene, side by side.Khushi is forced to put engagement ring on him for Babuji's sake.Buaji's love for his brother is understandable but her illogical theory of making a pure soul going through all without her consent can't justify anything.Poor father is warning her child and but just like the other night her "Theek hai" when Arnav left her with this "koi matlab nahin"[doesn't mean anything] ,it is still reflecting here but not with that intensity as she is doing it for the time being and will take care of later. She did not touch him while putting ring on him as she is not allowing herself to touch him and will not do so as only one man can cast this right and she gave him this right unintentionally.

good observation. Khushi carefully avoided his touch. It proved that she still thinks she belongs to Arnav only.

Her hesitant in this matter starts when he tries to put her ring .She does not want to raise her hand .

Buaji,"khushi, haath aage badhao bitiya... apne babuji ki khatir haath age badhao..." [khushi, hold out your hand for your father's sake,] and an orphan looks at her father who gave her everything and taught her to be a fighter as she is like his son and commander in chief after him but couldn't get his sense of directions today in this delusional paying off day.

how the poor girl would see. Buaji was coercing her so hard, made her perplexed.

She is echoing each and every moment which she spent with her Arnavji in her each breath which is saying his name right now. His concerns in that tiffin box,his attachment through her Dupatta, his patience for her blabbering during Nainital where he became her protector, His concerns while pulling her off from the ditch right next to his heart to be safe, his tenderness while taking off fairy lights and arousing her desires in her,his closeness during blowing dust in her eyes with passionate touch, His care while crossing diyas looking in her eyes to show her his presence with compassion ,his kneeling down for putting payal on her with respect and above all his tenderheartedness in his each and every action is raising her heartbeat to kiss her...Yes she wants to kiss him not this stranger...

beautiful description. Arnav's memory is too overpowering, how can she forget him so easily.

who is ready to put the ring on her and she just lets him for the sake of her father. She is definitely having all the moments in front of her eyes where this father did whatever in his command to make her life happy and full of zing. This is paying off time...but..here he is again in front of her eyes THE man who just wrapped his tenderness around her hand in front of God and parents ,who just took oath to be with her through thick and thin ,The man she loved and he loved her no matter what..its impossible to forget as he is the reason of her breathing"Hum saans hi nahi le payenge"[I wouldn't be able to breath]

'Buaji snaps her out,"What is this ...its ok give your other hand "...Ring in a wrong hand meaning engagement did not occur ...

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:Shyam during his revelation points out that there is no one witness for this engagement and no pics.He thought here really well but how he supposed to hide the wedding ...just a thought!

the devil certainly would make some plans what is beyond our imagination. A man who can attempt to murder his angel like wife for several times, he can do anything.

Khushi is sitting under the moon to seek answers from her parents thinking about two incidents which happened in one day with flowing tears. She did not give any attention to Scorpy who declared today why did he marry Anjali...Good job my girl...

Just wondering is this the same gift wrapper Arnav finds during Prreto wedding...

could be. Gosh i was so annoyed at cvs that time. their never ending MU was killing us and moreover more MU fueled the fire. That was such a frustrating period!

Her heart beat which does not need to cover any distance and is raising its inundation in his heart with arising storm .His foreboding ,premonition and apprehension is not making him rest either .The BG music is adding fuel to the fire .Walking back and forth in his room..They both are going through turbulent moments at this moment which was rising each moment while ring was slipping in her finger.Standing bsides Eternal Heaven[poolside] in gripping heartfelt pain.

Arnav was vulnerable. Khushi was silent, but was ebbing in billow of pain.

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:When Khushi told him leaving "hamesha keh Liye" he was standing with waving curtains going through with pain but intensity has been raged now since then...

A drop of blood makes him wonder about how he wipes off her blood in Mandir and then fight.."Aaj se abhi se meri zindagi se nikal jao"[from this very moment get out of my life]

Rage runs through his veins and he takes tissue to wipe that "MARK" off of him as she does not want to keep any relation with him as they just had fight and promises for not seeing each others

PONDERING CONNECTED DOTS:Coming after Bersarai he was wiping Sindoor off as she did not talk to him.But today the intensity bar is way higher to bring it down to forget her.

The intensity of whirling emotions in him in this scene is unbearable..I said Leave Dammit, about flashbacks of her falling into his arms in Sheesh Mahal, his taking her in his arms for safety during rain without thinking of his own,...

Erasing her MARK by wiping vigorously

Her closeness during rain hug under the pouring emotions within and from the sky ,dropping her from his office in rage which she initiated, pushing her against the wall in guest house wher he touched her very first time and touched her tenderness ,for bringing her home by carrying her in his arms first time and got Marked by her bangles

More tissues as "Her Mark" is not leaving ,

They banged together by splashing Sindoor all over, holding on to her teej too close to him ,their encounter in store room where he realized she is leaving him forever..

tissues after tissues for making this "Mark"out of his life

Her closeness while her earing got stuck with her,his twisting her too close to show her his command when she calls him a man without character,Her sharing her secrets under the stars with tears, her hugging him in hospital for his protection and her dependence ,falling on Rangoli splashing all colors...and DIWALI he is ready to kiss her...

lovely cognitive thoughts.

you said it all.

flinging the tissue box,Arnav swearing "nahi karoonga usse yaad, aaj ke baad kabhi usske baare mein nahin sochunga..."[ with pain After today I will not remember her or think of her again.] Same way she made in the Mandir .."Bhool keh bhi unhan yaad nahin karainge"[I will never remember him ]

A scoundrel had just won his first round but did he?

The promises have been made as "they will not see or remember each other" {na tumhari shakal nahin dekhni hai aur na tumhari baat sunni hai...aur yeh definitely mere haath mein hai KKG...Aaj keh baad humain bhi aapse nahin milna hai Mr ASR] hmmm/..

but can they ? Lets proceed ...shall we?

Episode 114-115: mat jao...don't go

As one of the longest night of their lives winds down, two broken souls stand under the open sky, in the moon light, under the stars, quietly emoting and sharing their sorrows that resulted from events that unfolded. It only took an instant for things to go from heaven to hell, but this suffering feels eternal, never ending to both. As he looks up, as she looks on, words from an initial promo of the show comes to mind

"Kaash mein turmse nafrat kar paati"

"I wish i could hate you"

She is hurt and wounded badly tonight, but still not an ounce of hatred for him. Maybe if she could hate him, it was ease the pain a bit, but its not to be. When her amma told her to go see him off, she ran after him and thanked him. She never could really hate him, even when he is at his worst with her. After the forced marriage, only once in the heat of the moment she used the word nafrat (Hate)...it was after he used it first. soon his "manna ki chabi" will resurface, something she has kept with her since the day after their first meeting at sheesh mahel, when she had every reason to hate him and throw it away...but for some reason unknown she kept it.Like he will always be her protector, she will always be his savior as she holds his key. always have some understanding of him that allows her to forgive all of his harshness.

"Kaash mein tummse muhobbat kar paata"

"I wish i could love you"

He hated himself for hurting her, for wanting her so bad but at the same time for wanting to stay in control of his feelings, his promise to himself... How much easier would it be for him if he could free himself tojust love? the way he looks up at the sky here, felling her, i feel that's what he's trying to convey.

Both have made a decision tonight to bind themselves to people they refused to before, spreading happiness all around them while they suffered internally in center, thankfully it didn't go unnoticed by their sisters. Both Anjali and Payal are afraid they made the decision in "jaldbaazi"(in haste).

Though Anjali wants so bad for her brother to settle down with his love, but she can't ignore his eyes and like she says, they never lie to her.

"Kahin yeh faisla tumne jaldbaazi mein to nahi liya na?" at the very thought of "jaldbaazi" Di's question has him thinking about his haste decision, for a moment his face even reads "what have i done?" and when Anjali point blank asks him THE HASTE IS THERE ONE TO ESCAPE FROM LOVE AND THE OTHER TO ESCAPE FROM HATE

"Chhotey, bataao hamme.tum khush to ho na?"

"Chhote, tell me, you're happy right?"

Normally an honest person, he can never lie facing someone ( also those expressive chocolate beauties always give everything away) he turns his back to his sister. "of course Di, mein khushi hoon (i'm happy)" but his flat voice, and eyes tell a different story. After all, he pushed happiness, his khushi away tonight. lovely collage

There is more talk of dil vs. dimaag, Anjali wants to confirm that he made the decision with his heart not mind, to which he had no answer, as he mostly made the decision with neither dil or his dimaag. He did what he had to do, in the process breaking two hears, his included.

Payal also pushes Khushi for answers, also wanting to be sure that her sister is happy with her decision. She aks if Shyam is the man she can spend her whole life with and Khushi replies with "jiji, ab hamne faisla le liya hai na (jiji, i've made the decision na)? didn't you see how happy buaji, amma, babuji were?"

Payal didn't let her dodge the question "Aur tu? (and you?)"

If Khushi was facing her, Payal would have no need to ask such a question since its in her character to always shows what's in heart is on her face, she would see pure sorrow on it. Her eyes close trying to gather her broken self, then she tries hard to force that deceptive smile, it wasn't convincing enough for Payal today. She know the decision has been made in "bahut jaldbaazi" "sooch to liya hai na tune?"..."are you sure you thought about it?" she asks lovely expressive collage

Khushi looks down at those payals on her ankles, him putting it on her with every right. how special she must've felt then, 'kucchh cheezein bas yun hi ho jaati hai, bina soche, bina samjhe (some things just happen, without thinking, without understanding)" Payal is of course confused ... then thoughts of his sharp words cut across Khushi's heart again and says something to confuse Payal even more "jo bhi hua, i'm ready to forget it...and anyway, i don't have to go there anymore" ...in the end she leaves it up to her DM, "woh sab sambhaal legi"

DM obviously not ready to let her forget, she wastes no time in in waving the key in Khushi's face the next morning. The last time she looked at it was after she given him a piece of her mind and later felt bad about it, she had no idea what to make of the feeling she had when she held it that day. Today however its all too clear, how she sensed his essence through it, and how it adds to her pain. The same way he felt her through her pearls and payal, his mehsoos seems to be trapped in this key.

Arnav threw the pearls away in hope to get rid of her, and after last night, Khushi also doesn't know how to live with a part of him to always remind her of what may have been or the words that left her wounded. The only things is, unlike Arnav, Khushi wouldn't dare throw away his mannat ki chabi. Buaji snaches the key from her and asks "Konu khazane ki chabi hai jo itna sambhaal ke rakhi hai (does this key open some big treasure that you're taking care of it so well?)?...no buaji, its a key to a man and when she finally unlocks him completely, it will be better and any treasure she could ever acquire.

"kuchh khaas nahi hai (its nothing special)" Khushi had to close her eyes to gather some courage to get that answer...but when buaji throws it down, it was as if her heart was being tossed.

Soon after, at the request of her amma she calls Anjali, as she didn't want to risk talking to him, to let them know she won't be coming anymore but Anjali and Nani insist on her coming one more time... she tells Buaji and Garima that she won't go there..."Why should i go? so he can be rude to me again...I- i won't go"...def not convincing enough, she know she would cave and go.

At the RM Arnav freezes on the stairs at hearing the word jilebi from Anajli who wants to make it for Khushi. He keenly listens as talks of how much shs did for the family and how truly wonderful she is. Somthing about how his family loves her does make him feel good. Nani brings out a gold chain with DM pendent wanting to make this day special "aaj unka aakhri din hai na?"...

POW! it hits him, its her last day.

When he announced his engagement, he didn't take this tiny bit into account did he? Back in his room furiously typing away, another one of his traits when he's got something on his mind, the key strokes keep halting as his mind keeps detouring to flashbacks of a heartbroken Khushi, then Nani's words ring in this ears '"aaj unka aakhri din hai na?" her last day, a brutal reminder of how he felt when he thought she would leave "hamesha ke liye...He closes his eyes to this unfathomable thought, when La interrupts and once again mentions her last day. he slams the laptop and leaves...a major proof of farq padta hai.

On his way downstairs, perhaps to his precious garden getaway, on again he stops at the same steps as earlier when there are more talks of Khushi. Nani asks if there is a way to keep her coming back, then La asks if there is anyway to convince her (he seem intrigued with that thought, wouldn't he love to "manaav" Khushi? pacify her? admit his mistake deep down inside? ) but when Anjali mentions that, it would be tough to get her back as she had to be convinced to come even today , something snaps. Maybe he couldn't take all this "farq padta hai." or he is just angry that she dared to refuse to come back to the RM...to him. He is dealing with so many emotions and inner turmoil...there is only way to express them: anger.

"Di kya zarurat this usse yahan bulane ki? uska kaam yahan khatam ho chuka hai na? woh iss ghar se ja chucki hai aur hamaari zindagi se bhi, phir kyu bulaaya usse? "

"Di, what was the need to call her here? her work is done here, she's gone from this house and our life too, then why did you invite her back?

How much in pain is he in? She is gone from our house and "hamaari zindagi" ...our life, my life. Kushi's first day at the RM, he screamed at the top of his lungs, "GET OUT!...iss ghar mein jaga banane nahi doonga"...today only devastation under his anger as it sinks in she is really out. judging by how Nani, Anjali and La conspire to bring her back, it's safe to say she's made her place hasn't she? and judging by just how much farq padta hai now, she's certainly made her place in him...perhaps infuriating him further, he makes a few more inferiorating remarks

"waapis aa ke kahi ek din ke extrea paise maangne na lage (make sure she doesn't ask extra money for one day )" and when Nani or Anjalir try to get a word in, they don't stand a chance.

"Haan Di, mein bhi yeh ho kehe raha hoon, kyu ki mein bhi pareshaan ho chuka hoon, Khushi yeh, KHushi woh, BAS kijiye..."

"Yes Di, , that what i'm saying because i'm getting frustrated too, Khushi this Khushi that, ENOUCH..."He may as well be tell this to a mirror, fed up with himself as his kamzori (weakness)remains even after shunning her out.

He turns to go back to his room, but a familiar breeze halts him, regardless of how much he wants to forget her, he is forever longing for this breeze that brings her mehsoos. He feels it as if life depends on it. He can never ignore it, and must turn to look...there she stood with tears. He realizes he broke her heart again...what's interesting is no sign of all that anger

Khushi turns to leave but Nani stops her (gotta love that Nani), he looks on as Anjali and La cheer her up and bring her in. One look from Khushi and he briskly walk up a few steps, only to stop and turn again, she also has to look and notices his face speaks a differ language than what his lips were just speaking when she walked in. In maamiji's words "sab d-rama hai"

Nani, Anjali and La present their special gifts to Khushi and a cheap cruel joke by mamiji just ended when they her Arnav's loud yelling

"JUST SHUT UP!! I asked for coffee not juice!" Poor OP tries to defend him self, and provide proof, but he also didn't stand a chance in Arnave's state of mind. "just get out" and whn OP tries to pick up the pieces of the glass that Arnav broke, He screams some more, teeth clenched "I said just leave dammit!!"

Downstairs, Nani makes a comment about Chotey's anger of recent. Khushi seems to have a clue or she may even fully understand that hightened pain = hightened anger with her laad governor.

Panditji comes for La, but Khushi makes an excuse...she can see him from downstairs, even catches him looking at her, before quickly looking away . She tries to walk away but, she just can't. Imagine, the person that says terrible things to you, hurts you to no end, you promis yourself never to see him again, but you're helpless when the heart wants to reach out to him.

Maybe it was the best time to return the key, like the payal, its purpose also done, she had unlocked parts of him that he didn't know he had. If it wasn't for his fear of losing control, this love story may have been ready for a happy ending. But, its not to be the case right now. He closes the doors back, but IMO won't be able to lock her out completely. In her mind, she is just returning whats his, just doesn't want it around her anymore. Having said all of that, i strongly feel she goes up to check up on him. She is worried about his hightened gussa and knows it has to do with them.

By the poolside, the gust of wind blows and he savors her ehsaas again, and he must turn once again, they have a moment before his eyes turn on her

"chali jaao yahaan se." "go away from here"

Her "akhri din", last day is eating him up inside. she takes a few steps. He continues with his harsh words.

"na tumse baat karni hai, na tumhari shakkal dekhni hai, just say bye to everyone and leave" His goto line these days, sounds like a rootha hua small child.

"hame bhi aapse baat karne ka koi man nahi ha...hamto si"" i have no desire to talk to you also, i just-"

"maine kaha na mujh tumse koi baat nahi karni hai Khushi kumaari Gupta! Ek baar kahi huyee baat tumh samajh nahi aati? " I told you , i don't want to talk to you about anything KKG, don't you get it when i say it the first time?"

"par aap.." "But you"

He furiously grabs a hold of her shoulders, pulls her towards him yet he yells "I said LEAVE dammit!!." In this instant, it would've either been a hard passionate kiss or a vigorous shoving away..

His will power must be strong, he chose to vigorously push her away, her hand lands on the broken pieces of glass, but he is looking the other way hiding in his own pain

He opens his eyes, still to her mehsoos, Tum ab bhi yehi ho?...i siad" he turns around to noone. Did she leave her essence in that key?? why else would he feel her presence when she leaves?

Khushi hides another "chot" given by him, wrapping her dupatta around her hand. She Insists on leaving and when she tells them she has to stop by the temple, noone pressures her to stay. A heartfelt goodbye from Anjali, Nani and La...Not so much by mamiji. She really had become a part of this family, later on, after forced marriage, when she goes to GH, she leaves really sadly .

As she takes steps towards the door, he rushes to see in secret.

If anyone saw, they would say his heart is sinking. Khushi leaves with a heavy heart like she leaving a huge part of her behind. A sad melody takes over, these 46 seconds are so moving. eventhough we know kabootri will be back the next day, Sobti/Sanaya and gang make us live in the moment and feel the impact of her last day.

DROOL CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!

can't get over this look, seeing her for the first time after he hurt her❤️❤️ so many emotions but remorse is also there.

Ami loved your take my comments in blue beautiful emotional creations and drools what a sentimental take loved reading it

Arshi thanks for the song link 'Aey mere pyaare watan..'from 'Kabuliwallah'. I don't remember the Hindi movie but have seen the Bengali one. As a kid, I remember I cried for days after watching it. It is so touching.Yes Indi Chhobi Biswas was too good in the Bengali 'kabuliwallah'.
Sohara, since you understand bong, you must see it. Also visit Shantiniketan if you can. you will feel Tagore's presence there.
Indi,I think, you owe much of your thoughts, words and style of writing to your bong genes. I also think the bong genes in your daughter invited robi thakur to her bat mitzvah.
BD also has a pocheeshey boisakh connection! I read her sweet sweet PM on 'What IPK means to me' on that day and she liked that.
Arshi keeps her optimism level high with Tagore's quotes.
Cynthia was always an Indian and now she is a bong Indian.
And the icing on the cake is that our Barun is now bong too😆
This is for all of you, non-bongs like me, who want more Tagore. Its alright if you can't read the bong version.

Thou hast made me endless, such is thy pleasure. This frail vessel thou emptiest again and again, and fillest it ever with fresh life.

This little flute of a reed thou hast carried over hills and dales, and hast breathed through it melodies eternally new.

At the immortal touch of thy hands my little heart loses its limits in joy and gives birth to utterance ineffable.

Thy infinite gifts come to me only on these very small hands of mine. Ages pass, and still thou pourest, and still there is room to fill.

Hi Arshi, very very nice!👏 Gread symbolisms and conntions in the begining. also great edits. my fave.

This line is just gorgeous

the gripping hold turns into a gentle touch trailing down her arm making her lose her anger anticipating along with that, He brings up the injured hand exposing the wound

I agree with you on most parts, of course my thoughts differ in the red underline, but i see your POV 😊 i think many ppl felt like you did, i just feel he did so much since the GH incident, but he didn't show that side like he showed his other side. he tried so many times to talk to her but she would defy him each time and push him to his anger..we all know that didn't take long. anyway, like i said i see why you feel that way, but i feel he suffered more and did more for her since the GH incident.

😊Thnx Ami for all the purple of cognitive thoughts and edits along with symbolisms
I totally agreed with you and as I mentioned so many times I feel both of their pain and agony but if we just put ourselves in her shoes she has no fault, she 's been suffering since 8 and the day he realized that ,he never let anyone harm her verbally or physically but until then he can't justify his actions because he has MU or his past or his anger management bipolar nature. He needs to amend and he did as we know and at this point it seems necessary.

She does not fall for a cow either. She is in Lion's Den and she is happy for that as she sees his actions which trails her to the tranquility but the day she gets to know he's been through a lot since 14 she stands by him no matter what others say or do to her but until then a girl that age ,I must say Naniji is right she is way sensible about her age ,suffered a lot and he isn't fair either. If she is fiery ,I'am with her as if someone speaks with me or do something like that oh I would be ripping him apart that's for sure. But as I said I love both and feel both of them from my heart and definitely can't see anyone crying because I cry bitterly.😭

The Decision

She has made the decision; she has agreed to marry Shyam. He has woven a web so large that has entrapped the entire Gupta family. Unfortunately, Babuji is ill, he knows his true face; but Kushi and everyone else is unaware and the pressure is too much, so she has agreed. Buaji tells them to come and thank God. Payal and Amma are aware of the distraught Kushi but no one can do anything about it. Babuji has tears in his eyes unable to communicate his feelings. They take his blessings and Shyam has a snide smile on his face. Oh, how frustrated I am right now!!! Buaji tells Garima they will go to the priest tomorrow and make all the arrangements for the auspicious day. This decision has been made.😭

In the RM, Di is doing some ritual with Arnav. He asks her what is all this drama and she says he is the one with the drama, his eyes can't deceive her. She tells him she knows it was his decision to marry Lavanya but why does she get the feeling he isn't really happy about it. Good perception, Di. She tells him not to take her wrong, she is the happiest about his decision but she hopes he didn't take the decision in too much of a hurry'he thinks about his almost kiss with Kushi, his momentary lapse of consciousness, his weakness for her'she asks him if he is happy. His back goes to her again, he can't lie to Di, and he says he is happy. She tells him nervousness is usual she was too when she accepted her proposal as well. She tells him when the decision is made with the heart and not the mind everything goes well. She says to him she hopes his decision came from his heart. He still won't look at her.

A similar conversation is going on between Payal and Kushi. Payal asks Kushi if she is sure if Shyam is the one she wants to spend her life with. Kushi answers that she has already made the decision and everyone seems to be happy about it. But what about you, Kushi? She yakes a deep breath and puts a mask on her face and answers her name means happiness so how can she not be. Oh, my poor girl, my heart breaks for you. Payal says she has taken this decision in a hurry, did she think through it. Kushi sees her payals and in her mind goes to poolside, remembering when ASR placed her lost payal on her ankle and he came so close to kissing her lips. She says somethings just happen without even considering or realizing. Payal says Aunt wants everything to happen very soon and asks her if she is ready. Kushi remembers ASR's harsh words to her, his abrupt fixing of his engagement; she agrees she is ready to forget all that has happened and all the hurt and pain she is feeling, she doesn't have to go the RM again. Payal asks her what she is talking about and Kushi says nothing, she is going to start a new chapter in her life afterall the Goddess is here and she will manage all the decisions in her life.

Shyam is in Uncle's room talking to him about Kushi and Anjali and how he needs them both. He asks Babuji why he is getting upset because he needs money for a ring for Kushi and Anjali is his money tree. Babujai hates the decision that was made and Shyam loves it.

ASR is at poolside again looking up at the stars and Kushi is looking out her window staring into the night. She is so sad and he looks troubled. They have both taken a decision which causes them to worry.

Shyam and Anjali are shopping the next day. He has schemed up a plan to get Anjali to give him money. He has hired someone to say her husband has died and Shyam is working to get her his pension, she is in need of money and she asks for a loan but alas he only has a little cash in his wallet which will only tug on Anjali's heart strings and she gives the cash. He asks her for more. He in turn will take the money back from the woman later on so he can pay for Kushi's ring. It is truly disgusting.

At the Gupta house the discussion is about wedding and engagement plans. Buaji accidentally pushes Kushi's handbag off the table and calls Kushi to pick them up and as she gathers her things HIS key turns up. Her aunt grabs it and asks about it and she says she just found it. You know the key is the key to their hearts it connects them. She tells Buaji it is nothing special and Buaji tells her to throw it out then. Hah, she can't do that. It has been in her safe keeping since the second time they have met. Buaji and Garima tell Kushi their decision that she is not to go to work over at the RM. Their weddings are being fixed so there is no need to go to work there.

Their decision is final'.

Or is it?

very nice decision piece, cynthia. shyam's entrapment of the gh was created so cleverly, wasn't it. it almost feels real. enjoyed the read. thanks.

@indi 116 my comments in blue

what a picture creation of Arnav

somehow, he couldn't let that key go. part of their connection, this inanimate little object. seemed to have a meaning, though it really shouldn't.

many inanimate objects connect them key being one and how he stores them like a magpie and tells her koi farak nahi padta 😉

"khoon?" why i wonder, the voice over is someone else's or did i really not recognise barun's voice?

full of feeling as its Khushi's khoon its his all right

in the way he says her name there's always something of his intense feeling. every time asr utters her name, he seems to give the lie to a rather famous writer's much quoted line, "what's in a name?" there's too much in his "khushi" for me to ever think the name was just a physical indicator with no real intrinsic, essential necessity to it. no, juliet, romeo had to be romeo and not any other of name, khushi is inalienably khushi... and always asr had to be asr. which is why the mere thought of an arnav mallick had me in a blue funk, even though his first name is the same. identity, you, all there in that name.

and when asr says, "khushi," it becomes a love story in itself sometimes. like today. i listened to just that one call and heard fear, guilt, desperation, love, care, fear, desperation, guilt all in his voice. if barun sobti hadn't understood that feeling exactly, no amount of directing could have given us that hoarse ragged dear god bring her to me sound.

well said all his Khushi's words voice reflect his khatarnak chemistry with her not lights and camera😉

he 18 year old promises never to go back to that house nor see uss laad governor's face. that laad gov... that khushi, that girl. the sense of possessiveness in the way they refer to the other, mine to be rude about, ok? how much she wants to see him, which is why a huge promise must be made... like i promise not to eat rice every day, ha. since morning she's been praying for this resolve, not to see him. because of that key (oh how we like to fool ourselves)... but now, never.

uss laad governor ko to dekika padi kaha bagat ho abhi aa jayega bacchu na woh tume chodega na tum use😉 you have to see him where you will run neither of you will leave each other hamesha

at last, she pulls the veil off and she looks up, only to freeze on the spot. beyond the veil... the most beloved, the most hated face.

no thought, no words, no waste of precious time... la la hm mhm hm hm hmhmmm, the piano goes into happiness, joy and the sheer sweetness of you in my life. she looks bemused, he slowly takes off his shades, all his feelings in those eyes.
how cute the sentences and the creation

he has this thing about being spoken to badly. but i feel he's almost pleading at a level, he can't take her harsh tone, it hurts him. i know, too bad, he's the rudest harshest being of all, but what to do tender he is of heart when it comes to jhalli.

yes his jhalli otherwise why he will come running to tend her wound

"tumhe" his voice is clouded, unclear... as though in shock. she's hurt, she bleeds. he feels his blood draining out. these are strange chaotic feelings not that sweet thing poor khushi believes love is.

yes no flowers and stars in her pallu only a khoon bari ungli(finger) and a person tending it more like a doctor😉

"humara haath chhoriye," let go of my hand, she's reaching another level of anger. when lovers quarrel, why is it that anger always seems to arouse other passions, something sexual? but not when you fight with someone who means nothing to you.

true true

that cut and that uuhhh reminds me of cut through. he seems to have achieved this cut through with her and she with him from that first moment. in a world full of people two strangers meet, and they register with each other instantly, it's rare, there's a sense of meant to be in it. even if both walked away from each other at this very moment, never will either forget the other nor not get a thrill, a pleasurable uuuhhh if they
thought of the other.

boootiful description

he beauty and sanctity of this moment is paramount and creatives have given it all they have, the camera movements, the lighting, the sound, the pace, all of it.

asr and khushi are tying some sort of knot, feels like it is for life. (and believe it or not, as i write this sitting in a hotel room in sydney facing a garden with a beautiful church right beyond it, the church bells ring joyous and jubilant... a wedding is on... my daughter said two weddings are on, she saw two brides and two bride grooms... make whatever connections you will of this fact).

when he held on and put his hand in his pocket to pull out the bandage, it was the most beautiful moment for me somehow. he'd carried a bandage for her, he came all the way just so he could take care of the wound the girl who means nothing to him has got thanks to him. he would tend to her... not anyone else... he. if he could hurt, he could heal. his khushi, his responsibility. he stood before all and drew her near and tied the bandage over and over till he was certain it will protect her.

awwwsome

there are many reasons i can never have enough of bad boy asr, this is one of them. that revelation of a loving heart behind khadoos, and none of your soppy nonsense... though he wants to bawl at having hurt his dueling partner, he is practical, all set with things of use, not just silly sweet words. months later, even as he went nuts, he will think of a mangalsutra and sindoor because even though he hates her, she needs them to even think of a thing called marriage. crazy man.

a handsome devoted man, a gorgeous in love girl, and an attraction that pulls them even when they push each other away. how intimate, how loving his hands on her soft ones, making pain go away. another glimpse of this thing called love. wonder which rasa.

sringar vatsalya karuna all rolled together

chaotic awesome twosome.

lot of ishtyle in our man's stride too. obviously, they both knew all was far from over. though they were never gonna meet again. ever. samjhi tum?😆😆😉 right back in his arms samjhi tum before 24 hours are over

loved the creations

@sohara

Arnav was vulnerable. Khushi was silent, but was ebbing in billow of pain.❤️

👏Love this line so beautiful.Thnx dear for your cognitive comments and appreciative words and yes for reading long ones.

Totally agreed Buaji was a bit too much but you know for brothers and sisters or relatives parents sometimes don't think about their kids and their feelings and in return expect a lot.Time has indeed changed but it was very much true 10-15 years and still even in present you can find ppl like her and circumstances created by ppl like her.Shyam's are everywhere regardless in different shapes, colors and sizes but they do exist .

wiwy,

so happy to hear about your state of mind, and quite understand how unnerving these angioplasties make one. hope all is well soon. glad the house full thing is coming along. it is a special feeling.

about that bong gene, oh fully asserted in me, despite my complete running away from all things deemed intellectual... even have a thing for my own bed. and about rabindranath, guess what my father's name is 😃. thanks for that lovely poem.

to all the good vibes on the thread.

and boss, barun is bong... have you heard him insist on that "b" not "v" most most interesting. 😆

non bong, not you surely? 🤗
