Horizon, Indi - agree with those points you both mentioned about ASR not pondering after the MU. There were too many instances for him to think that maybe he misunderstood Khushi. And, I believe, that originally the MU was not supposed to last very long. Khushi had already started having doubts whether the cause of Arnav's anger was Shyam. Arnav should have done investigation on Shyam. Based on the past moments Arnav spent with Khushi and also Khushi's current behaviour, Arnav would have thoughts that perhaps he misunderstood Khushi. Arnav had already blurted out chot, in another heated argument he could have blurted out the real reason.hi everyone,
sleepy, just got back from a long dinner with a friend, had tio check in once before snoozing off. horizon, ami, butted into your chat.
absolutely agree with horizon's thoughts here:
As much as I agree with all this, I will always have that regret that he was not shown retrospectively remembering all these after the MU at least once. The very reason ASR appealed to me so much were his monologues, his confusion, his denial, all that went missing during their MU. if he could recall her feelings here, relatively early in their relationship, he should have done the same latter too. His MU is still justified, as the scene and the words spoken by Khushi are too hreat breaking for any brother/lover to bear. But he should have been shown being in ambiguity directly.
the man who spoke to himself constantly, who remembered and tried to understand so many things, why did we lose that side of him gradually? we saw him feeling upset after the marriage. desperately hurt. some beautiful communicating of that, especially that conversation with khushi after he finds her in the temple and he blurts out, what about the "chot" i have received, and she is flummoxed, what chot.
but this confusion, denial, introspection, none of that. even his anger was completely toned down without any delving or pondering. yes love is healing, yes it frees you, but basic nature takes years to modify. that crazy anger, so much his part, it can't disappear overnight, nor can his angst. and while many people liked the gh period, even i enjoyed bits of it, i never saw the point of it. felt more like time pass while writers came up with a better plot.
oh i suddenly remembered his face thinking how he is going to tell khushi today why faraq padta hai. such joy in a lonely man's eyes, then the teasing and flirting and making her wait... just lovely. you know when he stood looking at shyam and khushi on the terrace and slowly without a single word turned away, i looked at his eyes and that's the day i felt clearly inside, this man is an actor... no less than any i've ever seen. i was shocked. on a hindi tv serial i never expected to find this. where he took that moment just with a look in his eyes that said all was illusion and there was only pain. a finality, a shut down in those eyes, just after a bemused, stunned air, then realisation dawning, then pain entering, and then as though he just shut it all out. over. that was the feeling i got. all is over.
i miss this acting.

Thank you!Episode 95-98:RevelationsWhen morning came, a bad feeling at the pit of his core wakes him, he sits up calling out her name, as she was the first to come to mind. "Khushi"..."Khushi!" no answer, that's when it all comes flooding back, the brutality of all the awful things he said in the dark of the night, comes under the light of this bright morning.
"oh shit" two words that indicate he didn't mean it any of it.
He briskly walks out in hopes she's still where he left her, she was. But in place of relief on his face, there's pain and regret. His khushi wasn't chirpy, energetic, or happy...she was folded into herself to keep safe in the darkness in the cold night.
Right away he has the hunch to check the lights and found they were out. Her words come to his mind about her fears, he feels awful like he broke some secret promise he made that day to protect her from all of her fears. Khushi" softly he tries to shake her, but her head collapses in his hand, he can feel her warm face, so he checks her forehead
"Dammit...she didn't even have a blanket at night, why did i say those things?" true to his pattern Anjali mentioned once, first lots of anger... then lots of damage...and lastly "dher saara pachtava (then a whole lot of regret)."
In his defense, his patience had been tested over and over today by Ms.Chatterbox, So when she accidentally blurted out that she was the one who emptied his fuel tank, even the sweetness of the lassi he was drinking couldn't stop the bitterness of this kadva karela.
His reaction was priceless, eyes fill with anger completely oblivious to the lassi mustache. talk about comedic and serious all at once! i wonder how they ever managed to shoot this scene with a straight face? Khushi uses her haq (as Auntyji had pointed out) to wipe the "got lassi" look off her "pati's" (hubby) face
but not long before he pushes her hand away.
He was furious, he found nothing cute about it this time. She tries to explain why she did it, but he never did like Khushi doing anything to bring him and La closer..teeth clenches, "I told you so many times don't interfere with my personal life...because of you my car stopped, i'm late for my conference, and i'm' sitting in this crappy dhaba where everyone thinks i married you!" awww is being pretend married to Khushi Kumaari Gupta all that bad Arnavji? His words stung, but she knew she made a mistake and apologized for it but "you can't go, you haven't' eaten all day and you fainted today."...all she can think about is his well being. He was past listening, money was slapped on the table for her to get back on her own and off he went as the ASR music picked up in full throttle. Khushi had also made up her mind,
"meri fiqr karna band karo" "stop worrying about me" the ASR in him doesn't seem to like the wifely behavior that's been going on all day. But she responds with the most wifey thing she's ever said yet:
"hamme to soch na padega na, kyu ki gusse mein aap dimaag lagana hi band kar dete hai...aapka phon band hai, ggadi nahi chal rahi ha, hadtal hai, aapne subhah se kuchh khaya nahi hai...Kaha jaayeng aap? Nahin, hum aapko jaane nahin denge"
Translation: "Ofcourse i have to think na, because when angry you stop applying your brain, you phone is dead, you car is dead, there is a strike, you haven't eaten all day, where will you go? No, i won't let you go"
Her deep thoughtfulness may have even touched the angry young man, but her determination only challenged him.
"Tum rokogi mujhe?" (you'll stop me?)
"aap waha baith jaaiye, warna hum" (you sit down over there or else)
eyebrows raised (these are the mini details in Sobt's ASR that make HUGE impact!) "warna?(or else?)" He knows she's crazy, but to what extent, he's about to find out as he walks away defying her "warna" till he hears a loud scream
"Naaheeen!?"
Bbefore he even turns around, he knows what's coming. The drama queen know how to get her way. She uses their newlywed status to gain sympathy from everyone ""dekhiyen na aunty ji, dekhiyen na uncle ji"
"Yeh tamasha bandh karo (stop this drama)!" he tells her but she uses that also to paint him ruthless. After a few more loud howling cries from Khushi and him being surrounded by a bunch of very strong men, Arnav makes the smart decision to stick around.
Much to his gussa (anger), Khushi rubs in her victory by raising her eyebrows to him a few times before getting pulled into some bhagra dancing. As expected Khushi indulges.
Khushi's crazy dancing, one more thing to add to the list of what becomes ASR's weakness.. The things it does to this man, dare i say its always aroused him...or always made him smile at the very least. when he sees her dancing with La, Di and Niani, During Payash's wedding, During holi, he can't his eyes off her silly dancing to chickni chameli before the Heer/Ranjha scene, and he finally able to do something about this attraction after seeing her dance at their engagement...how he takes her by the hand by the poolside for 3 beautiful kisses accompanied with his sexy husky voice "aane do, aane do, aane do"
It all starts here.. A half smirk as he watches Khushi go crazy to the beats but is short lived due to her giving him a another victorious smile.
The smirk disappeared, and his shatir dimaag goes to work and comes up with "suhaag raat"...hmmm seems her dancing must've taken him to that idea. He knew this would terrify her and also beat her at her own game.
"Kucchh naheen auntyji I was just telling my wife that, agar shaadi aaj hui hai, to suhaag raat bhi aaj hi hogi na (if the wedding was today then the wedding night will happen today too right)?"
Khushi screamed and shouted as the macho man whisks her away on one shoulder to the "honeymoon suite" to no avail.
He throws her one the sofa, and before she can fully accuse him of his batameezi again, he stops hert "sshhh! chup! bilkul chup" he points out her batameezi is not less "waise to tum hamesha se itni batameez thi par aaj tumne had kar di, i can't believe that after all you did today you would have the audacity to call me batameez" he draws in closer to intimidate "I told you before, batameezi par to main utra nahin, aur jis di- (i haven't even started yet)"
"But i did al-" Khushi tries to clarify that she did it for him but he cuts her short
"shut up! na tumahri baat sun ni hai,na tumhari shakkal dekh ni hai...Kal subhah mere utt ne se pehle yahan se nikal jana, i don't care ki tum kahan jaati ho, kya karti ho, i don't give a damn!"
Translation: "shut up, neither do i wan't to listen to you nor see your face, tomorrow morning before I get up, get out of here, I dont care where you go, what you do, i don't give a damn!" oh he meant every word in his anger. Like Khushi said in his anger he stopped applying his brain here. Thankfully due to her fever she was too weak to leave, but seeing her like this, he can't forgive himself.
He lifts her into the bedroom and puts her down gently this time, and when he goes to get up, we have our second collar grabbing moment after the guest house, he melts just the same as he did that night
"khushi" he nudges her to wake up "Khushi"...she utters for her parents, his voice softens feeling even more guilty "Khushi" her eyes slowly open.
"khushi, utt kar doodh pee lo, phir dawaai khani hai (get up drink milk, then you need to take your medicine)"
She looks up at him dazed but nonetheless, willing to grab on to him when he ever so gently lifts her by the shoulders to get her sitting up .
He handles her with such tender care, again reminiscent of the guest house. she looks at him but he can't seem to look her in eyes. He feels responsible this state of hers. His mean words in anger were heart wrenching, but the tenderness and the love he tends to her with is just as heartwarming.
While applying the warm damp cloths to her forehead, her face catches his palm, she peacefully sleeps while shaking him up. His face a perfect measure of how deep she can reach even in her sleep.
He tries to move his hand away, but Khushi is hell-bent on not letting him go in the last 24 hrs. First from the dhaba, then the collar grab and now his hand "ham aapko jaane nahi denge (I won't let you go)"...too cute. He fought to leave the dhaba, he was able to remove her hand off his collar, but here, she's got him. He changes his position and sits on the floor so she isn't disturbes. awww.
All of his attention goes on her innocent face, and he thinks about the way she took care of him when he fainted, his eye close in great remorse for how/what he said to her the night before. "I' m sorry Khushi, i'm so sorry". He lifts his other hand to place on her other cheek, uff the look on him as he feels her face as he take in the touch of her face, like an ocean of emotions are running through him.
The moment becomes more poignant, her lone tear at the sight of him hugging La comes to his mind, what a revelation! maybe this is what this whole honeymoon was about. He knows she has feeling for him since he saw that tear, he had felt her dhak dhaks that day also, but here we get a confirmation, no guess work. Not only does he know she has feelings for him, he knows they run deep. Perhaps thats why after the Diwali kiss-miss, he was able to tell her with confidence..."it probably meant something to you, but not to me"
On their way out, Arnav still guilt-ridden, has to know "Khushi tum teek to ho na?" he prceeds to tell her of the transportation arrangements as the strike continues. She tells him she'll find her own way, he's just about to tell her she's going with him when the goons come back for the eloped married couple they mistake our couple for.
Arnav tries to explain but they're not there to listen. A confrontation happens, In the midst of chaos Arnav is pushed down and held back by them till he witnesses one of them pushing Khushi into the jeep, Injuring her head. Something comes over him, a rage never seen on him, not even at his worst anger moments.
Pushing the others out of the way, the curly haired guy become his target.
He beats him mercilessly, kicking, punching, all while keeping the others off his back. Khushi screams to stop him, but its not enough.
"haan maar daalunga, iski himmat kaise hui tumh haath lagane ki?"
Translation: "yah i'll kill him, how dare he touch you? hurt you?" no doubt its her protector talking but a certain possessiveness rings here. We'll see a hint of this shade on him again when she breaks down on his shoulder after she finds out about Shyaam. he questions her "Did your fiance say something to you, did he hurt you, tell me Khushi!" "Bataao!"...he was ready to go kill her fiance, whoever he was, so what if she was engaged to be married to him.
"it was only a push!" Khushi yells but he heard nothing till her hand comes on his shoulder brings him to his senses. The acting and directing was amazing!! the rage in his eyes and the moment passing by to show the rage slowly dissipating. BRAVO!!!! seen dishum dishum fight scenes of similar types a million times in BW movies but this had the X-factor of that Arshi love story.
Her hand only leaves his shoulder when he's back in his senses.
"what happened to you, it was only a push, and you..." Khushi questions but stops as his look gives her an answer. There is a fear in his look. Fear of what he has let happen to him, he vowed to never let a woman make a difference and now look just how much "farq padta hai."
She senses this too, perhaps that's why her questioning doesn't go too far, maybe she is not ready to hear the answer out loud herself.
It was never in his plan, he never wanted to feels this way about any girl. Yes he's angry at himself for being weak and she chooses to stay in complete denial.
She tries to talk to him on the way home to try and divert his mind, she'll take anything even his "daant" (yelling at her) but he's too engulfed with his thoughts about that goon. "Why did i react that way?" is goind through his mind. She asks him what he would've done to them if they had actually lifted their hand one her. love how he has to grip his wheel, and snaps at the very thought. Get out! he unbuckles her seatbelts for her and gives her money "Just go". Pushing her away is the only thing he can think of especially when she can make him grab his steering wheel with one hypothetical question..Khushi once again hurt but the understanding level has also gone up. She knows he's struggling with his feeling just as she is.
After all the lengths DM went through to make this honeymoon happen, of course there had to be a purpose behind it. Revelations its seems was her destination for these two. Its hard for them see right now but they did come back closer than ever from this honeymoon. They'll see the effects of their closeness in the hospital when Khushi is in utter distress and he comes for her, he knows she'll need him.
Another big revelation this episode: Shashi follows Shyam to the mandir and finds out of his marital status. This leads to a great face-off between the two
but Shashi health becomes his weakness and Shyam's strenght. Shyam pure evilness in full display. To make matters worse,by the time Payal, Buaji and Garima come home, the damage has been done and Shyam proves himself a hero. Boo!
DROOL CORNER!!!!!!!!!!!
Must go with two faves today day ❤️❤️❤️
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful pic, Ami. Yes, there are so many innumerable beautiful tiny moments in the show, that are registered in our mind. In the vm, I love how Zoha took Arnav's words 'Kahin toh ek duniya hogi...' and started from there. How beautifullly she has matched the words and the scenes. Just excellent.Originally posted by: BarunDiwani
THanks so much Durga, actually hadn't seen this one before. LOVE how it captures the painful deep love and longing after the forced marriage, Zoha truly puts a lot of heart and soul into her VMs it shines through. I was so happy to see one of my fav Mili-sec scenes 😃 you know there are so many non-rabba ve moments teeny tiny moments that are soo incredibly touching that have stayed etched in my mind. This is one of them. no words needed to describe his love for her and how his tender caring never stopped even when he thought the worst of her ❤️ iss pyar ko kya naam doon?
Episode 101 and 102:
The start of giving up of reservations.
Arnav : Once Khushi had given up her reservations about showing her feelings he just had to do something. So Arnav bitwa could not hug her back. He could not give up his reservation in the middle of a hospital. Then he goes home and thinks of why he can not give up his reservation. We know when he wants to do something he has to practice condolences and this time he practiced it not with Mr Mirror but with La. He also got his strength from Di. So when Khushi came to ask for money he was still trying to shed some reservations. In the midst of his mental practice he lost a second chance to offer her condolences. We know ASR keeps on trying after each failure. So he went and gave her father's bill. Then came the second phase putting his hand on her head as if saying I am there for you. Then the third was asking her how her dad was. The fourth was when he told he broke the vase and not Khushi and did not even shout at anyone. The fifth was when he secretly put two coins to make her happy. There was counting all the nice things he did for her and in this two episodes he did more then he had done till now. No wonder Khushi fell even deeper in love with him.
tha
Khushi : When she went and asked Arnav for money and to put them in her box I almost cried. It was extremely touching. This was the same Khushi who did not ask her salary from the office, the payment for sarees delivered, for the sweets made, for the plants she bought to bring him and La together. This was the same Khushi who was extremely sad whenever Arnav made references about the differences in their financial condition. She cried when he told Anjali that she did not need to ask sorry from her because she was their employee. She was the one who said they value money and do not show any pride on their value. She was always dreaming of returning and throwing money at him. So I think her devastation was evident, at the same time she did not shed her reservations in front of Buaji, Shyam or even her Mom. She did it in front of Arnav- whom she felt instinctively she could rely upon. She gave up her reservations about marriage to her Di about how she felt about marriage - because she knew she could tell her what her dreams of falling in love were going to be. No wonder Arnav and Payal both knew then how much she was devastated to give up her reservation about money and love respectively.
Buaji : I really wish she had kept her reservations in this difficult times. So I can understand the reason she gave them up was because of her brother's health who was the only living male in the family.
So evidently enjoyed when Arnav was starting in an ASR way to win over Khushi after giving up his reservation. When Khushi gave up her reservations and came to Arnav, allowed him to give her condolences, told Payal her dreams I fell in love with her once again. However when Buaji was giving up her reservation remembered Mami's dialogue about chamko detergent. Evidently people go to a doctor they trust to make them better.
Oh, Indi, that was so poignant. Liked the pics, but your words were speaking louder. My comments in bold blue. Liked the ones in pink.
episode 99"babuji kuch kahna chahte hain... boliye na babuji!" a sweet, tense but determined little voice, babuji wants to say something, say it babji.
"shyam... shyam..." a man struggles to say the words as his face contorts, his muscles give up.
"a native american elder once described his own inner struggles in this manner: inside of me there are two dogs. one of the dogs is mean and evil. the other dog is good. the mean dog fights the good dog all the time. when asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, the one i feed the most." ~~~ george bernard shaw ~~~ That is so true, so right now I'm feeding the dog that shouts IPK all the time. 😆(This quote I've read - I haven't read many books, so when I see something familiar I feel good. 😊)evil that has been fed and pampered, it has congealed and started pulsating with heinous intent. it draws its sustenance from the basest part of the human construct, far far away from what's divine. shyam feels the throb in his veins when he contemplates wrong and acts upon it, a natural born not good 'un.
in this episode, on the one hand the rise and spread of shyam like a dark, insidious shadow, inexplicably lucky. no one catches him doing what he does. the one man who does is struck down. how could such a thing happen? yet, precisely such things do happen. again and again.and still we hope. Hope sustains, because Shyam failed in getting Khushi, inspite of him committing the worst of crimes for that purpose.
and on the other, the reason we do hope. that equally inexplicable entry of the positive, the blessed. out of nowhere, when you least expect it, though most need it, comes help. an answer. an affirmation of good. and a reminder, if there's evil in the universe, equally and more forcefully, there is the opposite of it. the mean dog, the good dog, they are both in here and out there.
shyam dominated the episode, yet shashiji's desperate love, khushi's valiant fight, and a couple of minutes of a man who seeks the sahi and repents when he is galat, stole the show. So true.
the alacrity and ease with which shyam moves to any and everything considered a sin points to his nature, his true self. how quickly he contemplated adultery when he saw khushi. in just one meeting, a three year marriage became a thing to play with. if he sensed anjali was getting demanding or strong, he'd resort to emotional blackmail or feigned romance without missing a beat, to get his own way. but when he saw babuji's face on that pane and realised his game was up, oh the evil that instantly clouded his eyes and caught his being. he'd do anything to not let the truth out. if threats wouldn't work, why not murder?
the man who knows all the shastras, every kind of law, who spoke chaste hindi, and always showed respect to his elders... had one thing clearly missing. conscience. that's what you feed the good in you with. completely missing in shyam. Reminds me of Ravan. He had everything going good for him, but his ahankaar (egoism) brought him down.
that's what, to my eyes, made him truly evil.
the writers of ipk used their craft well and gave us another scenario to contemplate. a man who had no time for shastras and certainly didn't know them, who created an empire and knew and valued money, who spoke a mix of hindi and english minus floweriness of either, and who showed respect where he felt it was due... you could like him, you could hate him, what you couldn't deny though was that this man had a conscience. and it spoke to him clearly.
"kyon mujhe pahli baar aisa laga ki main... ki main shayad kuch galat kar raha hoon... main sahi hoon."why did i feel for the first time that i... i was perhaps doing something wrong... i am right. remember him in the rain? a man concerned with being sahi... right... not galat, wrong. it is in his innate nature. It bogs him if he feels he is doing something wrong, that's conscience.
his mother's value system and evolved upbringing have nurtured it. she has taught him to develop and grow his conscience so that he may tame the wildness within. the wildness we all have to a greater or lesser extent. she's taught him to examine his actions... will you kill the flower for the hurt the thorn gives? life lessons in everday situations. (Everytime I think of his mother, I feel like shouting, she did not commit suicide)
his father's "galat" leanings and weakness have given it resolve. he will not be like his father... galat. so he evaluates his actions, and does things he believes are right. of course, doesn't mean he is always right. the difference is, he thinks afterward deeply, and if certain he was indeed wrong, he does so repent.
these two men and their strange ties to one woman, khushi, is finally absolutely centre stage today.
shyam, upon being discovered by khushi's primary protector, her father, has struck. in the midst of his threatening when shashi gupta started having a heart attack, shyam threw away the medicines... this in my eyes is tantamount to cold blooded murder. and the state babuji was left in was worse than death in many ways. True, I couldn't see that scene again. Shakes up something inside, want to help, but can't.
now he is leaping and dancing around frame causing destruction and seemingly getting away with it. how horrific his intent pursuit of harming shashi ji; how disgusting his pretend concern, his mocking of a fallen older man, his thick self absorption, his utter inability to empathise with human suffering. to get what he wants he will hurt anybody, even the object of his desire. and he gleefully informs a man who can't get up and give him a punch on the nose that he will marry his daughter, in fact he will get his family to beg him to do that. Exactly, punch him on his nose, that's what I wanted Shashi to do after he recovered. But, alas...
how sickeningly deceitful his holding of hand over flame to con a girl under terrible pressure. she thankfully is not moved by this, rather displeased with his attitude to the whole thing and discouraging talk, though she does tie the handkerchief on his palm. please don't say such things, shyam ji, devi maiya will not let anything bad happen, her heart says so.
the girl who understands heart, knows how to listen to it.
her father lies struggling for coherence in the hospital. her mother, aunt, elder sister, all are crumbling. first the shock of heart attack and then the devastating news: it's paralysis. all khushi knows is she is second in command in the gupta household. her captain is down. she must hold the family together. directors establish this quickly, within seconds of her arrival, she is taking over, telling her jii to stay calm, all will be well, clearly, after babuji, she is the support. Ok, you made me cry now.
a little girl of eight whose whole world had shattered was given home, heart, love, promise, nurture by this man who was no one to her, just her mother's sister's husband. not a rich man, not a young and dashing man, but a man with love and a conscience. her feelings for this man are hard to gauge. she literally will do anything for him. her "babuji..." when the doctor declared his diagnosis spoke only of that love and her need for him in her life.
as everyone leaves the room, khushi stays back to be with her father for a moment. she holds his hand with the most loving care, all of 18 and absolutely determined, "sab... theek ho jaayga, babuji," everything will be alright, father.
a tear slides down from a helpless man's eye. he has confronted evil and the evil for some unknown reason has won. at least for now.
unknown to her aunt, mother, and sister, on the other hand, khushi is coming apart. struggling to stay on top of things. she can handle everything, but not the loss of her parents again. and this is babuji...
at rm, a short telling scene. he came out of his room when he heard his mami's altercation with naniji about the status of people and the place of servants. and to his casually asked what's up, came anjali's reply, "chhotey khushi ji ke babuji ko dil ka daura pada hai," khushi's father has had a heart attack.
he's shocked.when did you drop her home, asks anjali. he didn't. the scene plays back in his head... he had thrown her out of the car and slammed some money into her hand when she'd asked worried and frightened, but how will i get home. his eyes darken in repentance. that anger of his.
"khushi ji, aap bahut himmatwali hain... aap ko to aapka parivar ko sambhalna hai," khushi, you are very courageous, you will have to take care of your family, says anjali to khushi. and suddenly khushi can't be strong any more. beautifully written and directed this young girls's rising angst, worry, struggle to overcome, and need to just let go.
she walks away and finds a quiet seat. body arched, wrapping her helplessness around her, she prays to the one she knows, the one that is always there.
"shakti dena, devi maiya...," a call to her heart's mother. the one who sits there, steady, unmoving, always.![]()
"shakti dena," give me strength.
eyes closed, she seeks an inner calm.
then her lids flutter, just an instant later enters the stream of wind, far then near, swirling...
camera closes in on a girl feeling things, someone...?!?
she turns her head.
and he stands there.
something in his eyes, everything in his eyes.camera rushes toward him... khushi's heart, her mind rushing up to him?
in the silence, just the silence, and the rustle of wind.
finally, just one word from him... "khushi...," a gentle call, lilting up at the end, as if to say, i had to come, i am here, do you need me?
slowly she gets up as though hypnotised and starts to move toward him in a daze almost.
a swallow, he can see her state and it hurts him, so much pain in those young eyes, sparkling so often with all her irritating nonsense talk, huge smile always on. look at her now.
is a telepathic conversation on?... she senses his concern, his wanting to help her, she begins to rush toward him, suddenly wanting his solidity desperately...
and in a few short steps, she has run right up to him and wrapped her arms around him, resting her head on his chest. snuggling her head deeper against him, like that face of hers on his palm that very morning...
rabba ve... yes, this is a moment blessed. for here is the truth that will triumph over all, especially the darkness spilling all over their lives right now.i can't do it any more, i don't have himmat, i can't do this any more, lost my father once before, i can't do it again... "humse dubara nahin hoga... nahin hoga humse," she whimpers. he has never seen her so distraught.
"nahin hai himmat hum me... hum poori tarah se toot chuke hain." i don't have the courage, i am broken in every way.
his eyes close as the pain sears him becoming his for that instant.
