Well, everything is not about money! 20 hrs per day(according to jay soni) !!😲 I wouldn't do that even if i am paid 1000s per day.. After all i value my personal life and health..

20hours is just exaggeration I guess. They work for 20 hours when they have maha episodes one in a blue moon. 12-13 hours a day [Sanaya and Barun mentioned that once]

And even my dad works 14 hours a day and gets paid in just 1000s in a MONTH

well this is nothing to do with actors...they leave they life how ever they want to..n work as much as they can...i mean its their life

In principle it is sad that the TV actors are not covered under law but as every thing has an advantage and a disadvantage, in that case, TV actors are Not bound to one production house, they can leave by presenting a notice as per their mutual contract, and move on, irrespective of the fact, the audience made this show, the stars, the ph, a great hit,

Most important whatever career you choose as an adult, you know very well its pros and cons before going into that line, and also when it comes to acting be it bollywood or tellywood, having a personal time or space of your own, cannot be decided by you, Period.

Though money is not everything, at the same time, when you take up a serial show which is a 5 day week telecast, you are expected to shoot 50% of the entire day and you get paid for it as a worker in that team.

So it is weird to complain about a career/profession you choose with your own will knowing its ups and downs.

Agree.. 20 hrs might be for the maha episodes.. I don't think a person can survive with just 4 hrs of sleep daily..

12-13 hrs a day sounds fine. Even i work for 12-13 hrs a day but since that does not involve any physical strain i can't comment about these actors.

Since most of them sound tired and are unhappy with the working hrs, i think there must be more to it. Recently the lead of balika vadhu, kritika kamra also quit on similar grounds. 🤔

I am so glad people are finally expressing their displeasure about these working hours...
I am surprised so a actor should not complain or express his displeasure...
Correct me dont we complain about loads of studies and assignments though we had decided to choose the subjects we like...?
Dont we complain about our job at some or the other time though we get salary for working...?
Heck people even go on strikes to make the owners bend to their demands...

So are there exactly two categories like Human and actors...? If there are i did not know about it...

TFS. Now everyone is coming out. This is a real issue in TV industry, you cannot brush aside. It will even worse now that some greedy channels have 6 days a week episodes on top of maha episodes.
I am expecting to see lot of actors quitting the show, this is insane.
