arnav singh raizad asked for forgiveness three times today. the last time, he manged to say the word too. that too three times. i don't think there's any need to mention how perfect and emotional but never melodramatic or cheesy barun was. sanaya was the instinctive and astute foil. always a private space for their most intimate moments. beautiful setting, the lights gleaming like those tears whose release it was all about really." - Perfectly said...Couldn agree more⭐️

@Indi, its so funny that you bring bond into the ASR equation, i kid you not, often time when Sobti does that serious pout when he's in his zone, i feel like he could be Bond, my hubby will vouch for me, even the first time i watch the show, i've made numerous comments about how Sobti would make a great Bond, much to his annoyance. Never did watch Sean Connery's bond, but always hear he's the best. I grew up with Peirce Brosnen's Bond and always thought he carried the look off the best, but of course loving Craig's new twist on hims. here is an example of the pout i speak of, the only one that i could think of at the top of my head...😃 love that song, sung by Adele right?

Hi Blasters, hope everyone is having a great weekend! i'm gonna TRY and knock out 83-84 today before we go on a day trip to have some yummy chaats and do some shopping in NewJersey...a drive of 3 hrs. I normally try and avoid doing reading on my IPAD, but as you all know how behind i am, i need to use any free time i have, plz don't mind no colors on readings and limited words.

yes i loved that last set of sibling scenes. very cleverly designed the episode. we are taken to maximum emotion then brought back to a lighter, easier place by the screenplay, so that we leave happy and giggly. fantastic. thanks so much for each and every comment of yours. and your liking my edits, you know how it makes me feel. 😆

BD, this analysis of yours is etched in my mind! Like Arshi I too think it is beautifully written and the pic edit is awesome! But I guess I never commented on it.😳 Main aisi hi hoon...sorry yaar... hum ajeeb hain.. I also remember wanting to ask you, although Khushi had to return the gulabi chunari to La, wasn't it the same color dupatta by which ASR pulled Khushi towards him and kissed her on Payash mehendi day?!

hey ami 😆, please see connery do i'm bond, james bond... that little "sh" on the "s" lovely (oh the "kh" of someone's khushi). and guess what, he has that lips pursed, pout thing too. in fact, it's pretty trademark bond i think. you know with barun and ipk, i feel, a character not really quite understood to its fullest extent even by the writers was felt and "got" by his actor.
i have no idea if asr was supposed to make us want to compare him to howard roark, othello, hamlet, d'arcy, rochester, every bigand heady male character we've seen. i find a lot of bond in him too. this 360 on asr is really barun's doing. no one else's. yes, basic bone structure was good, but to know how much flesh and muscle and breath and sinew and sweat and tear and smile and pout to add exactly where and when and why... that was barun. with just a little push from director.

the sheer earnestness of the actor also brought on a depth and to use jwmrk's (a really good writer on the forum) word, a certain gravitas, to asr. i don't think anyone could have dreamed that women from 14 to 75 (my aunt), would be swooning over this man and going way beyond his looks, thrilling to his traits and wanting to talk about them, for months after end of show.

hayee (as anita or sohara might say) barun as bond. i believe ya, ami ji, you have cast him in that role already. maybe some day these hollywood fellas...
