Episode 71

He had been defied yet again by this low-aukaad girl, ek to him Arnav Singh Raizada went back to save her and she had the nerve to first refuse his hand for a second time (first time in the storage room), then have the audacity to ask him to apologies. Didn't she hear him the other day? "Arnav Singh Raizada kisi se maafi nahi mangta (ASR doesn't apologize to anyone)" so he left her there, beech sadak, middle of the road, middle of the night.

The intensity and the heated tensions leading up to this moment had only been on the incline since Nani asked Arnav to drop her off. His immediate willingness to do so worries Khushi so a quick "raksha karna" to DM and off she went with him.

In the SUV, Arnav's frustration mounts faster than the speed of his car, while khushi sits next to him terrified. All he needed was an excuse, a matchstick, what better way than to mess with that DM Chuni? the one he links Khushi with, he just wants it off of there, and out of there...

As he expected Khushi immediately stops him and fixes the chuni. Displeased she tells him,

"you can't open DM chunni like that"

Arnav just waiting to exploed, explodes "Kyu karunga to kya karogi? Di aur nani ko bataaogi?shikayat karogi meri? Tum apne aapko samajti kya ho? mere hi ghar me aa kar, yeh shart rakhti ho mein tumhare saamne na aau, tum ho kaun, how dare you?"

Translation: "what are you gona do about it? complain to nani and di? who do you think you are? come into my house and make a deal not to see me? who are you ? how dare you?"

Who does she think she is? what is she made of to be having this effect on him. "Tum ho kaun?" "who are you?" this is not the only time he will question her effect on him. Interesting how Khushi's deal with Anjali came up first, not too surprising, his ego had practically shredded to pieces when La broke the news to him, he needed to remind her of the "nobody" status. Then he continues with the actual reason he's here for "tumhari himmat kaise hui muje dhoke se aarti mein boolane ki (how dare you trick me into coming to the arti?)" Yes Khushi, he always finds out when you play with him

He hits the breaks to make it chrystal clear that she can't leave the car until she understands and answers all of his questions...poor guy sure has been traumatized by all the times she fled while he tried to talk to her, teej morning, storage room, Di's anniversary party... he needs his control "sab khucch meri control mein hai, aur rahega (everything is in my control and will stay that way)".

The Q&A session begins, love the camera work here pacing back and forth between Arnav and Khushi, trying to keep up with their spat. Not having to worry about anyone else watching or listening like at the anniversary party, Khushi is fearless today in this all-out argument. She even interrupts Arnav and throws his question back at him "Aap kaun hote ho (who are you)? ...i cant see anyon talking to Bal Gopa like that"

Arnav tells her moo pher liya karo (look the other way)

Khushi strikes back immediately and tells him to bow his head atleast in front of God, turning away she begins to whisper to herself, insults of him ofcourse and he picks up on her vibe,

"jo bolna hai mere samne bolo (say what you want ot say in front of me)" his request is still not met, she looks away he tells her again

"jab mein tumse baat kar raha hoon, to mere taraf dekh ke baat kiya karo (whatever you want to say, say it in front of me, when i'm talking to you, look at me)"

Barun's voice modulations perfectly make it more of a plea than an order, firm but with bit of pain sprinkled in. the desperation in his voice to command her attention, giving importance to what he has to say...it comes through beautifully. never seen actor so on the mark!

"mein tumse kuchh kahe rahi hoo!!!!!" he yells to get a reaction from Khushi

it works, she screams at the top of her lungs "humne kaha ki aap rakshas hai rakshas (I said you're a monster)! you don't care about God and you have no value for other people."

Though again wounded with her words, what's interesting is that he's allowing her to speak her mind even if its against him, he has experienced her "khamoshi" and this seems like a better option, also it's like he wants know what she thinks, he listens with anger building but remain quiet until Khushi brings up her version of the "live-in" situation, that he, the rakshas is forcing poor helpless La to live with her. She badly wants this "live-in" arrangment to end.

His SUV comes to a screeching halt, the cutest puzzled face "kya bakwaas kar rahi ho?(what are you talking about)"

She goes on, "how can you embarass a woman like this? how cany you live together without getting married? "

Arnav: "i can because its my life and i don't believe in marriage" Khushi: "and what abou La? did you even ask her what the wants?"

Arnav: "who are you to be talking on her bahalf?" Khushi:"a woman!" Khushi goes on "as a woman i can tell you that if a person wanted a relationship with me, but didn't want to give it a name, nothing would b more humiliating then that," you're weak, you're scared to give your relationship a name!"

Why doesn't Arnav stop her and clarify that La is happy with this arrangement? Does he not feel the need to clarify or does he know that It wasn't really about Lavanya anyway, more about her disaproval of him in a live-in relationship.

her insults came left and right, but he took them in agony, mist in eyes, holing the wheel trying to hold back so much of what he felt until she accidentally stomps on a sore spot "Aapke maa baap ne bhi shaadi"

not a second goes by before Arnav's reaction to her mention of his parents + shaadi "get out...suna nahi tumne? maine kaha get out!"

She hesitates to leave, so he gets out of the car, goes to her side and pulls her out, his suv muddies her clothe while backing out, but before leaving, he makes a mistake of looking at her...gets mad at himself, and smacks the wheel for caring too much. He comes back his speeding car scares her and makes her fall.

He walks out and offers her his hand, and for the second time defiance by this middle-class girl. His ego was in full force by the time she asked him to apoligise and she gave him and ultimatum "i will only sit in the car until you apoligize for your "batameezi,." She knows by now that he cares about her well being, maybe she thought she had a chance at his apology. Either way super proud of Khushi for standing up for her self respect

he loses it "teek hai, khadi raho yahi sadak ke beech (fine, just stand here like this in the middle of the road!)" he also waits for her to give in, she doesn't budge either. A pause before getting in his SUV with strong sense of his "galat" (wrong) but again the ego, his ghamand was too strong. yes Khushi, "itna ghamand (this much ego)"

Anjali once pointed out the pattern of anger, damage and remourse of her little brother. Two out of the three are covered so far today, now for the remourse part: He storms into his room and throws the keys on his bed, slowely turning towards those curtains.

He gulps as his ego slowly loses power and his regret and concous take over.

Fist closes indicating anger at himself, eyes closing , her voice echoes "Rakshas hai RAkshas!" with images that prove her right like the one of him grabbing her hand and pulling her out, of her falling as he sped up to her and finally her tears when he left.

Eyes open realizing his mistake, a sense of urgency to make this right, he rushes back to get the key...he is not a monster and he needs to prove that... at least himself this time.

He drives back to where she left him "Khushi!" but no sight of her "Khushi!" smacks his hand on his wheel again, this time out of fear for her, "kaha gayee yeh ladki?" his voice shakes, face consumes with worry and fear

Thanks to DM, she makes it back home safe and sound still in daze about all that happened. Payal hold her hand, "Khushi, are you ok?" a forceful smile screwed on Khushis face "ofcourse Jiji."

Atleast prior being aware of her feelings for Arnav, she was able to tell Payal about what horrific man he is, but he left her alone in the middle of the road at night and not a peep out of her, blaming the taxi for her muddied clothes.

They've both made a habit of showing parts of themselves that they don't show anyone else. They never fight like this in front of anyone, it's always in private. A secret only between just the two, just like those dhak dhak moments, and "hey hey"s and ofcourse those breath-taking "Rabba ve"s ... never leaves that connecting gust of wind between the two...This is how they unknowingly grow into each other till finally its realized that they can't live without each other. In fact in the few scenes above, in the midst of so much nafrat, both peel a layer of themselves to each other moving their relationship a step further. He learns just how much she values marriage, also she is just as stubborn as he is, and will do anything for her self respect...While she learns that he doesn't believe in marriage, and that when she doesn't look at him when he talks it bugs the heck out of him 😆 also that he is super sensitive about his parents.

Payal is a caring sis. But her character changed after her marriage. She was kind of reluctant towards Khushi. I don't know how cum she couldn't see her sister's grief! She could play a pivotal role to clear MU between Arnav and Khushi. Coz she was also a witness of Shyam's deception.

Agreed but she was dealing with Mamiji and it is so natural what she's been through but yes she could help as our writers were not interested giving them dialogues or screen space so what we could do

Naniji was suspicious with Laxmi. Moreover the piece of cloth and her jewelry were also missing. She asked about her cloth. Mami was ready with her lie"She was hot,that's why I took it off. becoz of LOG(allergy) There is lot of politician outside." Anjali rectified her "pollution".Naniji was feeling uneasy with Laxmi. Laxmi was behaving strange. To divert the attention from Laxmi, mami teased Anjali "why are you so happy today?"Anjali was blushing, coz her creep hubby was calling her frequently to wear that necklace. She didn't know the real intention of so much love of her shabby pati.😡 Mami wanted to escape from there before she get caught. She reminded La to leave also,"Marna hai kya, I mean aram nahi karna."La actually was scrutinizing Nani's reaction keenly.La and Mami were about to step out from the room, Nani screamed,"Ms.Kasyap". Nani found the black spot and the powder on the goat. So she was sure it was not Laxmi"I suspected at the beginning that, it's not Laxmi."Anjali was getting the necklace from the box. When she heard Nani's yell, she rushed to her room leaving the jewelry box on the bed.

On the other hand Khushi was madly searching Laxmi. Fortunately she found her and scooped her in her arm immediately.

Naniji was tremulous in anger, she started accusing La. Mami defended her that she was suspecting wrong. Nani was frantic,"nobody can take Laxmi's place in this house.I didn't grow so old that I can't recognize Laxmi." Khushi entered with Laxmi right then.Nani got elated to see her favorite pet. She scooped her in her arm. She immediately pointed finger to La,"now you see the difference between you and Khushi. You lost her and Khushi found her an give it back to me.".Khushi admonished naniji,"this was my idea, to get alternate goat till I find Laxmi. La denied to lie, but I insisted her.It's my fault." Nani was hurt hearing this"leave me alone for a while." Nnai called back Khushi,"I don't like the people who lies, specially I don't expect you will lie to me." Khushi begged her apology again to get another goat. Nani stopped her, "it's not about other goat, I'm talking about your other lie. You are lying to save La!"Nani was hurt. Khushi took the resentment to save La.

Mami was blabbering"she got a headache at sasuma's quarries. it seems like a 3d horror movie."😆 La was still feeling guilty. While Khushi was passing her, she called her and asked, why did she resent to save her? Khsuhi answered "when I got applause for your work, then why can't I take responsibility of your mistakes.I was brought in this house, so that nani can be pleased with you and you and Arnavji don't leave the house.I can do anything for this" (by the way this was Khushi's modesty that she gave her the credit for making good tea. She actually instructed her to make the tea.) La was elated to see her generosity. She thanked her, but this time she called her Khushi. Khushi admonished "you can call me how you like."They shook hands and became friends. Arnav was amusingly witnessing the whole scene. When La left,he came forward and stood in front of Khushi. There was some kind of gratitude and appreciation in his looks.There was a black dirt or something on his face. Khsuhi tried to show him to wipe it. but he couldn't get it.(It reminded me the mehendi scene, where Arnav was trying to show her to remove something from her face. He was indicating the blush I guessed. Tumhari gaal lal hey) There was a soft compassionate look in his eyes, "rabba vey" nad "hey hey" in piano on the BG( my favorite), a warm moment between them. Khushi might wanted to wipe the dirt from his face, but La intervened, she wiped it off. Gosh it pricked my heart. Khushi left them alone, but turned to see them. Arnav was starring at her, trying to read her eyes. What he wanted to see there, jealousy? He thanked La, but his mind was in some other planet, I mean in Khushi's planet. La seemed quite happy. She actually was feeling relieved to rely on Khushi.

Shyam was restless. He called Anjali again to remind her to wear the necklace. Anjali was trying to describe Laxmi's story. But the creep didn't have any interest to hear that. He was just counting time to see Khushi out of RM. Cheap and nasty fellow! 😡Anjali opened the box, but the necklace was not there. She was tensed,"I'll call you later."She cut the call. The creep was giving a winning smile,"sorry khushi ji, it was necessary ."I wanted to strangle that Psych!

Anjali was searching all the places, but the necklace was nowhere. Finally they all gathered in the living room. Nani asked what happened? Mami started her monologue" the necklace is hi-fi, but it doesn't have wings that it will fly by itself, somebody stole it for sure". "pakka chori hui hey"she threw suspicion to Khushi. Mama was very much aware of her meanness. He teased her"you might took it from Anjali and forgot to return." mamaji, I love you. you are a very nice human being. 👏 Mami told Anjali to search carefully.She became so imprudent,"the police should inquired when Ms. Kasyap called them. So we would know whose character is dhila."Mami was indicating Khushi. She now directly pointed finger to Khushi"aisa dekhraha hey jo kha jayenge. Jo goatwa ko kidnap kar sake to necklace kya cheez" It means she is looking at me as if she will eat me up. if she can kidnap a goat, then a necklace is nothing." Mami, how cum you are so ungrateful! 😲 The idea to get duplicate goat was not La's, but yours. Khushi actually saved you. and now you are accusing her of stealing. How cynical are you mami? She resumed her monologue,"the necklace was expensive, but it's a matter of sentimental (she meant sentiment).Who knows, may be phatti saree needs money." Khushi was now really upset"plz stop mamiji, I didn't steal anything". Mami continued her affliction "I'm not telling taht you stole, but suggesting to check the bags of everybody. In this case you are the only one who has a bag".Everybody was stunned to see mami's acrimony.They refused to search Khushi. Nani yelled at mami. La also thought Khushi didn't steal. This the sign of a good family background. La certainly came from a good family. May be her upbringing was wrong. Or moreover she was obliged to Khushi for what she did for her. But mami sure came from a low family. That's why she couldn't change her out look and mean mentality, after being in a god family for a long time. Anyway Mami was annoyed at La's affability with Khushi"partiya changea li kia Ms. Kasyap?" It means "did you change the side?" Khushi agreed for the search"jis jisko humari par shak hai humari talashi le sakte hey.(who suspects me can search me)" Anjali denied strongly to search Khushi. But mami was adamant to insult Khushi."what is the problem to search once". Khushi was ready for it "it's not a matter. As I didn't steal, then why I should be scared? I will get everything out from my bag." mami was too enthusiastic to check her bag.

Shyam was waiting for the cause and effect of his evil plot He was happy in apprehension that khushi certainly got caught by this time. He was about to call Anjali, then buaji appeared with a handful of groceries. He cut the call and helped her. he told buaji to celebrate the evening by making and eating jalebis..Hearing jalebi from his moth Buaji became happy"sanka devi influenced whole Delhi I guess, why you are so happy bahua?" the creep exulted"now everything will be good."What a creep!😡

Khushi was taking out one by one,every single belonging from her bag."I got a ll of them out", but she stopped while getting the last piece. She looked flummoxed and of course the rest of the people who were witnessing got suspicious too. Mami sure looked happy in apprehension. She might thought she found the necklace in her bag! I was really very scared while I watched the episode for the first time. I almost couldn't sleep whole night

The game is so on.All the players are in action with their action plans to move forward.In this triangular Love the Queen is in the middle of the King and the Slithery Rook.One is trying to make her go through humiliations by others to get her for himself and the other is ready to humiliate her by himself to make her away from him. But for one Fate did not chose her to have his name attached with his filthy games and for the other , her name is attached with his name ,fame ,and game of Love and Hate.What a Destiny and what a play out.?👏👏👏

Slithery Rook action plan to make Khushi out of RM

Shyam the Slithery rook decides the necklace for Anjali for the day and then hides it from her so he can move on with the next step of this plan.The BG music intensifies the senario.He steals the necklace for his next move.He makes false promise to come home early and makes her belief in his love as usually.Feels so bad for Anjali.Hate him for adultery, deceit and infidelity towards Anjali and her family...you cheat...dishonest piece of dirt...😡😡😡

After reaching GH ,He places the necklace in Khushi's bag by asking her "Jal" water .This Lawyer is a pure liar "Apka Shantivan mein aana hamare liye khatre se khali nahin[Its danderous for me to have you in RM]Today his expression was a pure proof he always like that either his way or no way.I don't think he ever was good or nice period...He is successful in dodging Khushi and Buaji so far...😡😈

He calls Anjali to show extra creamy love to her as he is on mission today to make sure Khushi couldn't be able to go to RM again..

He always rehearse his failure moments and today was the first one.He is a pure con artist . Seriously "aap par chori ka ilzam laga diya'. aaj keh baad aap Shantivan mein nahin jayengi ...[they called you thief ..you will never go to RM again}

He said while having her picture in his hand,"hum apke saath hain na Khushiji" [I am with you Khushiji] as he is holding Khushi...Yuck!

King and Queen Round 3

GH.New day arises and Khushi is late to work.Its 9:00 o'clock and she is late.

Symbolism:#9 To sum up the meaning of number 9: action, war, conflict and endings. 9, would seem to be an unhappy, unlucky number; but you must look at 9 as part of the whole. Sometimes, new beginnings cannot happen without endings. Sometimes, peace cannot occur without conflict, etc. So, think of 9 in your life as a time when things are about to change, and they surely are about to change.

CONNECTION:The upcoming fight and tea throwing and sorry is going to change everything in between Arnav and Khushi and even in between La and Khushi.

The convo in between her and Payal was interesting and she found out about Akash sir and his car problems but couldn't connect the dots why here in this prem nagar.Payal's anxiousness was worth watching to see her premi viewing mirror Akashiji.

Pause here:One eye closed as Horus and here Payal is protector of Khushi too no matter what she was , she is and she will always be there for her.

DM has different plan for them today.After saying good bye to house ladis,the moment he opens the door ,the one face he wants to teach a lesson is praying for not seeing his LaadGovernor's face.It breaks his heart as she is still adamant not to see him but Closed eyes of bewitching and charming beauty, tempting lips saying prayers with innocence and seductiveness melted him to the core as his eye expressions tells the whole different story and he leaves upon her wishes to DM.His sensual essence awakes the awareness of his presence in her as he stops to see the reaction of it as he knows her awareness about him .She knows he is there but deliberately does not turn around to see him but still sees him with her corner eye and then turns when he leaves.Piano tone in the BG adds the delicacy in this scenario.Then she gets upset and turn around baffling about whole situation which was not in her control .They both are mirror image of each other and know exactly what are they doing or feeling without knowing why and that's the cause of the bafflement and the agitation among them.

Khushi wants La to remember all the beans names.Uhhh... La and her attitude is intolerable and inadmissible.What a nave girl...can't differentiate in between Ma's Dal or Pa's Dal and thinking all the time Arnav Dal😆

Symbolism":Khushi said three Dal's names and in the kitchen all jars are arranged as 2,3 and 5 combo even in colors too

"Khushi stands up and stares at him with mixed emotions.

ASR,"tum ho kia chees aur khud ko samajhti kia ho... Mein nain suna tha keh tum jaise loag jis thali mein khatain hain uss mein chaid nahin karte...Tumhain kia laga kissi ko pata nahin chalai ga....[What the hell you think of yourself ?I heard about ppl like you they always remain loyal to their owners]

Khushi stammers, "hum nain yeh..."[I did not do this]couldn't finish her sentence and he barks..

"Shut up"..."mein abhi baat kar raha hoon aur mei baat koi kat taa nahi hai" [I am still talking and no one interrupts me...] Bingo! This is bothering you since she did not let you explain your side on resignation day or in the store room and this all is cooking up in this Lava chamber to just erupt.

He advances up her, "you changed my phone ringtone, filled my shoes with juice and made me laughter in front of all."She says sorry by her eyes but he is no mood today...

"How dare you to touch my laptop...don't you dare lie"

ASR,"tumhari aukat mein achee tarah se janta hoon ...aur tum jaisi do kori ki larki aur kare gi bhi kia"[I know the girl like you with low status can't do better]

Khushi gulps down all the insults and humiliations but then it was more than enough when he says,"Khabi khabi tou mujhe aisa lagta hai keh dhoka daina aur jhoot bolna tumhare khoon mein hai"[Sometimes I feel deceiving and lying is in your blood]

Pause here:Bavo! ..How and when did she deceive you ASR when she looked at you in the store room and after understanding your feelings she denied and deceived you and herself.AND you think she lied to you for leaving to Lukhnow and jumped in your closet.Thats what destroying your peace of mind...hmmm

Arnav,"Tum jaisi aukat wale kiss baat par itna akarte ho"[how come a person of such a low status feels so proud and for what]...This was the last nail he can nail today.

Pause here:She is out of reach that's why she is bugging you right..

Khushi,"aagar humain ani aukat par eik kitab likhna pari tou hum apke paas zaroor ayeige...laikin iss waqat humain yeh sab nahin sunna"[If I have to write a book on my status the I will come to you but right now I am not in a mood for hearing all of this]

Arnav huffs up,"you should think this before coming in my room ,before touching my things..]

Pause here:Indiretcly he is conveying her she is obliged to him as she is servant to his sister who is paying her through him.

Arnav,"Look at this laptop Di,"I am sure she does not know the real price of this..."Khushi,"eik insaan se ziyada tou ho gi nayei"[It can't be more than a human being]

Arnav roars at her .."Enough" and she jerks back with immense hurt and he receives that pain too by acknowledging his outrage as his expression changes immediately.He knows it right away but again this is the only way he can keep her out of his shattered shell.

Anjali tells him its not Khushi's fault ,its mine as she broke it accidentally.His remorse and regret was written all over but "ASR is never wrong"Anjali seeks forgiveness from Khushi when he barges in again to hurt her more"Di aap ko isse sorry bolne ki koi zaroorat nahin .[Di u don't have to say sorry to her].She is your servant and her home runs on your salary"

Khushi's pain can be felt in his eyes as their eyes speak volume today but he is adamant to throw her out of his life as if he can't have her then she better stay off of him.

He can't bear her tears so he walks off the room and then stopped , turned to deliver the message that he does not care [koi farak nahin parta] Sad Raba Ve mingles in but he turns back firmly with this and walked away.She receives the message with hurtful and teary eyes...

Two lovers who are burning in this fire of icy Love ,one wants materialistic relation to satisfy his urge and desires and other wants to burn in it with denial but still wants to remain intact for eternity as this is his right and no one can have it.The Queen is burning in it silently with denial too but her heart beats for the second one and the first one is not even close to it and she will go through hell emotionally and will get humiliated because of Slithery actions of this second Slithery and filthy Lover.

Today March 15th. last year we watched one of the most beautiful episode of IPK. Actually the whole holi track was awesome.I feel elated everytime I watch those episodes.- 👍🏼
