Ya that hug scene was very cute..nIce post

The only thing i want to say at this point is the redemption was the most unutilised part of IPKKND. Redemption cud have taken the show to more heights.

Whatever the writers wrote to show arnav wooing Khushi was Ok if it was a simple tiff between lovers, Or and husband- wife argument or any simple misunderstanding..

But the SHYAM-Khushi MU was not any ordinary thing which can be adjusted by jalebis and gifts.
Why i felt it didnt do justice because
Arnav forced khushi to marry
and again he forced her circumstances to accept him not that naturally she is given a free decision to amke of her own.

This force affected his life and again he used this force..
That is not called being asr character for me atleast.
Because he used to get emotional and soft earlier too but it didnt come across properly for Khushi after kidnap.

and most importantly Arnav stopped Khushi from leaving saying that our contract hasnt ended. But After that episode Khushi never asked... so am i free to leave after contract? So if the contract is over i dont want u to create any obstacles .
Actually Khushi just simply didnt want any blackmail. she just wanted arnav to admit that he didnt want her to leave him cause he is guilty . But not even once arnav could say it. Instaed there was blackmail. He didnt admit it. Infact our campaign forced them to put a 30 second redemption scene. So Contract ...which was an important part of the entire narration and series got forgotten.

Khushi became a clown. Writers showed that She became mother teresa, a saint .
Bottomline is whatever arnav was doing to woo Khushi it looked they just had a very simple husband-wife quarrel. Honestly those scenes wud hv suited if that were used after a remarriage and their first couple dispute. Then those arnav wooing scenes wud suit. Those scenes didnt do justice with MU and Khushi's himiliation plus contract marriage.

But those emotional scenes were good , well shot. I enjoyed them. But they were not meant for MU. They were meant for simple husband-wife fights

I miss the show goes without saying - but I deeply miss reading everyday analysis and writing my own analysis!!! This show has given many many things to many of us and one of the key contributions of the show is it woke, created, polished and groomed some amazing writers among st us.

THANKS FOR THE POST RIMA 👏

Was there even a repentance after all the suffering Khushi went though in the hands of ASR?

Great post!
I remember when Arnav came back from kidnapping and threw Shyam out... I loved those couple of weeks. The episodes were too good! The whole Arnav escaping from the kidnappers with Khushi's help was shot very well. It seemed more like a movie than a daily soap!
When they came back home, the confrontation scene with the whole family about Shyam's misdeeds was executed brilliantly (very different from anything I have seen on tv)!! The whole 3-4 episodes where Shyam argued for his case in front of the family was like a real courtroom drama (LOVED Abhaas here!). And then Arnav threw him out which led to Anjali breaking down. Then the couple of silent scenes between Arhi were also very moving!
Seeing all this, I thought they are finally getting a grip on the story. Yes their hands were tied for the previous 2 months due to Barun's movie shooting, but now it is going to get really good.
I know they had to cause another conflict between Arhi to kick start Arnav's realization and repentance...something which will make Khushi leave him and the whole forced/contract marriage to come out in the open...thus getting Khushi back her dignity and give her justice for all the pain. So when Anjali lost her mind and tried to abort her baby and Arnav blew out at Khushi blaming her for everything...I felt that was a great start. Daljeet, Barun & Sanaya were brilliant in those scenes.
And then it all went down from there. I don't remember any track after that which we enjoyed watching completely the way we used to before. I remember the number of posts complaining and showing dissatisfaction with the episodes kept increasing from this point. I think we fans kept our patience throughout the over extended swami track and the GH track (which turned out to be pretty pointless). We also kept the faith throughout the kidnapping track because we knew the circumstances and also got some great Khushi realization scenes. But after that we started losing our patience with the show. The tracks were badly written and executed. And the abrupt jump between tracks was terrible and the flow of the story was bad. Yes there were some good scenes...but overall the tracks left a bad taste in our mouths.

agree with you word to word
after july 12
when he said 'i wish we you had never come into my life'
i expected repentance
but it turned into absolute rubbish
him threatening her
blackmailing her
mock anger from khushi
kissing scene
anjali nonsense
nothing was left in the show
because the most important thing...
repentance for a wronged human being
was neglected
