a rather delicate situation. and a disturbing one for me too. how will this living in thing work out? and will i have to watch asr getting all boyfriend like with another girl? how would i deal with it? the problem, of course, was solved by the man himself.

he was lovely. responsible, sensitive, and man in charge. around la, he was supportive, but not all over her, though he didn't mind her getting close and possessive, sort of enjoyed it. yet, in his eyes and his never too keen body, a certain aloofness. asr aloofness. one that's always been there, and la is aware of it; it's him, she just lets it be. from the moment that we saw them together first, it's been this way.


remarkable, how the look in asr's gaze has been kept consistent by barun sobti. those eyes play love for only one person.

old "generator" and hopelessly romantic me was oh so relieved (i am worse than naniji). he would make sure lavanya settled in well, despite naniji's disapproval. he strode into la's room breaking up the early morning tete a tete with mami. when he asked her if she needed anything and she said "you," and it sounded a thousand times more intimate in hindi/urdu (zaroorat... tumhari), i almost switched the tv off. but only for the sake of research, i persisted.

and soon came reward. playing cupid, la mentioned chamkili. how the eyes changed. ignition on. a memory flashed. the angry wild khushi pushing him... guesthouse. fire in brown irises. la pulled the arrow and let it leave the bow, hey didn't ya hear shyam? "kaman se nikli teer" can never be taken back. she said, calling her chamkili all the time, i've forgotten her name. usska ek naam hai! conflagration. the arrow had found it's mark.

just look at those cognac orbs. where is the cool in them? the aloof? and madam is not even here. i was delighted. move in lavanya, get comfy. all will be well. ah, so you want to move into his room? outrageous, i thought, but looks like it worked. he was back in control; a neat, let's go, breakfast is served. man in charge.

aap unke saamne ye kaam rakhia jo muskil to ho, par namumkin nahin.


nani was in don mode today. managing her looked not only mushkil, but pretty namumkin. thanks creatives, for this lovely respect paying to a classic dialogue from filmdom. gautam hegde apparently is much into bw, his penchant gave a nice touch to this scene. poor anjali, desperately trying to convince nani, chhotey's happiness is essential to her. but so is peace in the household. having seen the worst face of a family falling apart, she wanted to keep things together. nani's discomfort was most understandable, but the demand she made that la be trained in the ways of the more traditional raizadas within a month, how would that be met? clever way devised by writers to bring khushi back. this facility with ideas was sadly missing post dadi attack, but that's another story.



anjali's travails continued. she walked in on her husband acting super cagey about a phone call. she even went as far as to want to check his phone. but when he turned away, she couldn't hold on to her determination. that fear of discord in the family again. a bit miffed, she walked away. shyam got another reprieve. time and time again, he escaped discovery by anjali. created enough tension in the viewer, and in life such things happen all the time. doesn't make it any less creepy though.

if there was tradition in shantivan, there had to be traditional politics. naniji, mamiji, saas bahu. interestingly, though mamiji was campy, her eyes never "bhadkoed" a la hindi serials. she hello hi bye byed, looked bizarre, but at heart was a complex, interesting woman, with plenty lau for the fam. and all her face making at nani, fairly and squarely returned by her sasu ma, hid a simple truth. she wanted ma in law's love and respect. a girl from a lower "class," always a bit diffident of her position, she yearned for status too. but she was delightfully lazy, a pretty bad cook, obsessed with makeupiya, poor sasu ma just couldn't not disapprove. yet if i'm to decipher the smile on her face when she watched mami opening her teej gift, i'd say she had affection for her weird d-i-l.

can never thank ipk enough for bothering to create real, believable people and trying to stay as far away from serial stereotypes as possible.



politics of the moment demanded an alliance. mami and la. mami was as shocked as nani at la's la-ness, (poor girl having to explain bath robe to the incredulous mami who had taken the "ladder" to her room), but she realised helping la fit in was important if she was to fulfill her dream of getting akash wedded. so she was here offering her hand in friendship. i have to say, i blessed her at the breakfast table, trying to shield la from naniji's acerbic tongue, perhaps she empathised? that biscuit giving, lovely. of course, the "calorie devi" getting tired of climbing la's tall frame, an abs classic. dear dear mami, may you never suttupiya.


breakfast was battlefield. naniji on the offensive, la bombarded by arch questions, abject impoliteness; asr flying to her defence ever so sweetly, every time. but what touched me even more was la's reaction. she wanted to handle things herself. she was not deserting. she would fight by trying, not running behind her lover boy for cover. got to give it to the girl. asr has chosen her after all. i wonder, does the boy whose life has become unbearably grim, need a bit of that flakiness la is so full of? lightens his moments perhaps? and sharp that he is, he knows deep down, she's not a bad soul. and perhaps this girl out there, wanting to make her life on her terms earns his respect even? i notice, with khushi too he's smitten by her cooky jhalliness.

la's "mineral water" query re the paani in the poori earns her a whoop of laughter and a hug from me. whoop because here's at last a perfect match for mami. and hug because of that expression on asr's face. has a man ever look so sexy amused, head down trying to hide smile, a guffaw building up somewhere.




ok, since watching asr's glances taking it all in and talking nineteen to a dozen, now irritated, now irked, now amused, now concerned, is making breathing hard, taking a respite with khsuhi, payal, buaji. khushi is still torn about the decision to return to lucknow, "duviudha" plagues her. the thought of being alone plagues buaji. payal is perturbed but quite clear it is time to go back. suddenly khushi breaks into a poetic take of their dukaan, declares it's not just a shop, it's air has "chashni ki mithaas," there's the smell of saffron everywhere, it's where there memories of growing up play. i wonder why. is she trying to convince herself? if any one reading can crack this one, will be grateful.

back to the table and its drama. again a cupid. this time shyam. at his mention of lucknowi chaat, a pair of eyes move and concentrate.


then shyam lets the teer leave kaman, "par lucknow ki cheez toh special hoti hai... usska muqabla karna bahut mushkil hai." there's something special about things from lucknow, impossible to compete against really. eyes dart and mind begins to travel.


taking over from her husband, wither thou goest anjali says, guess what khushi is from lucknow. two frowns, a smile, and head turn one... head turn two.


so much enters a pair of eyes as the owner recalls a young woman telling him she's going away... to lucknow... forever.


tainting the purity of that moment, an illicit sneaky memory of a girl in a saree, looking beautiful, smiling. camera puts the two men thinking of the same girl in the same frame. felt more vulgar than la romping around the house in a bathrobe. obscene almost. bet that's exactly what the creatives planned.


but what was really intolerable:
aarhgh shyam fed anjali golgappa and said, "hume bas pata chal jaata hai." creatives, how could you.

episode 49 version two

if i were to do a real quick concentrated one of 49, it would be called "aankhen" (eyes) and would have just these two visuals. i bet it would say it all, and much better than any words i could ever write.

EPISODE 49 &50

Hasty Decisions are being made in these two epis by everyone to move on with their moves as Khushi,"Hum nai mun bana liya hai'."[I have decided']to leave for good .She wants to leave Delhi even she is equivocal about it as Buaji insisting to stay here'

DM's sign system has decided to show Khushi the right path towards her heart by hiding herself second time from Khushi's mind so she can use her heart to show her mind the right PATH...

"Kia hum sahi kadam utha rahe hain'"[Am I making a right decision?] Khushi does not want to make decision without DM's consent as she is abhorrent about it while leaving with Payal to Lukhnow'."Kia humain yaheen rehna chahiye ya phir'.[Should I live here or not'] The moment she says these breezy words under her soft lips, a familiar breeze touches her countenance and brings DM"s chunari on her face to remind her very familiar silhouette who she wants to forget besides her " hum ne mun bana liya hai" but on the other side ... "DM ne mun bana liya hai use rokne ka 'har keemat par"...'as she is keeping her chunari outside the suitcase but the way Khushi dejected herself with that SIGN is doleful...

Pause here:Today DM's chunari is on her face making her to feel HIM just like her Dupatta was on Arnav's face making him to feel HER

DM is reminding you sweet shop also as a SIGN as your Home'.

Pause here: Sweets safety, good fortune and 'sweeten' the new year.You will be safe from Shyam and will be fortunate to get her Rajkumar. Chunari means Dupatta lands on Khushi's face and head as she will get marry and will be in her Home RM

Nani is bound to Decide give La one month to prove herself worthy for RM bahu. La's first day at RM was not warm enough to have shower in ASR room, especially by Naniji's humiliations and hostility, but La was trying to acclimatize as she Decides and wants to win Arnav's heart regardless.

Mami was really kind to her as we know she is Royal status freak and she wants Arnav to get married soon badly for the sake of Akash.She Decides to help La in cooking BUTfood ne mun bana liya hai not to be cooked by these two immature cooks as "Too many cooks may spoil the broth, but it only takes one to burn it."

"Everybody loves Raymond" is my fav show and Ray told his friends how bad his wife cooks and I can't resist to mention it here his joke which fits on these two cooks'

I'm not saying my wife is a bad cook, but she uses a smoke alarm as a timer

La'Poor girl does not know the names of the foods and how to do "Dal ki chori" and Mamiji, she makes my day with her excellent ENGLISH as "WE ARE IN FEAR WHEN Manorma is here" I mean in Kitchen but wondering curiously if she was the servant "who" hired such a lousy and lazy worker in RM, at the first place'.Naniji.. or Nanaji'..

Good Point Mamiji''"Old generator does not understand new generator" as Mamiji and Naniji is never together'.so definitely not hired by Naniji'

Anjali's prompt Decision and assurance to Nani from Chote and La's side and her triumph to convince Nani to give La sometimes to adjust is worth aplaudable. Her and Arnav's past really made their BOND so strong and enduring that they can do anything for each other and know how to stand by each other in any weather'

Pause here: She takes the decision to bring Khushi in and goes against Shyam when she blackmails Khushi with the same contract just for the sake of Arnav's happiness.AND Arnav takes a bitter pill to accept Shyam in RM later for the sake of Anjali's happiness BUT in both cases KHUSHI pays the price.

Shyam Decides to find Khushi as DM's signs are working so hard to make Khushi to stay in Delhi so phone's cradle is not its place as Khushi's brain is not its place.To create a connection in between her two stubborn children DM has disconnected Shyam's signal for a while.He goes to GH and finds a LOCK on the door.

Pause here: How come they locked the windows this time because later Shyam had access through windows for getting Garima's pic'.but I loved Arnav's entry though... always😳

Anjali decided FINALLY to find out who is her hubby talking to but got trapped again in his sucker web and disconnecting all the SIGNS around her.He calls her with her name instead of Rani Sahiba whenever he is angry at her.She disconsolate herself and leaves which makes him realize his mistake. She wants him to come to Mandir with her but he makes his urgent work excuse to run his double life...Arggg😡😡😡

Pause here:She finds him in Lakshami Nagar near Khushi house but later she couldn't connect the dots neither when Khushi tells her the name of her Fianc nor during his revelation time.It shows how in our society women just keep their lives go on blindly with wrong allegiance, beliefs, certitude and acceptance by assuring themselves"ALL IS WELL" as Ammir Khan says this in 3-idiots.I don't know what kind of idiots we are but we are'

Nani's rudness towards La makes Arnav's attitude naturally concerned as she is a guest in RM after all .He comes to her room to assure her everything will be fine and shakes off Nani's bitterness.

[Pondering point.ASR is perfectly normal coming La's room and seeing her in Bathrobe so why there was so much DRAMA by the viewers during Sheetal track']

Khushi Kumari Gupta is written permanently on the slate on ASR's brain and heart and comes out of his lips with anger as La mentions Chamkilli and brought back memories of shoving in the guest house from both sides and her declaration of leaving "Hamesha keh liye " without listening his side'.

He detached himself for a while trying to move on"Hamesha keh liye" but ended up giving a COLD attitude towards La'

On the dinning table La's humility is not done by Naniji which is not unnoticed by Arnav but Mamiji resolved the situation.Love La here ,she gives a sweet smile to Arnav as he gives her an apologetic look.

Shyam's twisted and sticky tongue melts everyone in this tacky situation especially Anjali which is adored by his brother as her happiness is the last ultimatum of his life.Shyam's Lukhnow Chat creates a jolt inside Arnav as Anjali mentions Khushi's name remembering sweets from Lukhnow'"Khushi jab bhi Lukhnow jayengi un se methai mangwa leingey'[whenever Khushi will go Lukhnow we will ask her to bring sweets] and also provokes Shyam's lust for Khushi...😡😡😡

Connection:Khushi is going to have sweet shop and on Anjali's Wedding anniversary RM will get sweets made and delivered by Khushi's .

Shyam is in Khushi's thoughts while describing chat as "LuKknow ki cheez tou special hoti hai"'uska mukabla karna bohat mushkal hai....[ Lukhnow's thing is special'nobody can beat that']Well said Shyamji'. Khushi can't be replaced by La'..Arnav knows it but does not want a reminder from you'.😡 Anjali is also from Lukhnow then?? ... you jerkasaurus!!!😡 Guy like you can fall for anyone from anywhere...

Khushi's words "Hamesha keh liye" are creating restlessness in Arnav's mind 😉 while Khushi's beauty on Teej is creating a sensualist in Shyam.😡

Lakshami Nagar is calling Arnav as Di wants to visit Mandir there.Arnav is so vulnerable at this point and these lyrics are lingering in my head...

Thoughts of khushi,from the guest house incident to his amalgamation in the store room are pinning him down.How the touch of innocent beauty has done so much damage up to this extent...That day her touch ,her essence ,and her stinginess broke all WALLS made by ASR and reached to the core of Arnav.Other day her Dupatta ,her innocence ,her propinquity,her nervousness with determination broke the epidemic of desires in Arnav but successfully reached to the mind of ASR for not coming out of the WALLS of ASR as this is her final verdict and that's what ASR is perplexed about.

Just like DM's chunari was a sign for her"Don't leave him",these flowing Dupattas touching his features is a sign for him "Go stop her"'She was saying achingly good bye by looking at the door as she is leaving something in Delhi'He is sorely to the same door as someone is leaving Delhi'.

Khushi is leaving with heavy heart as"usne mun bana liya hai"

Symbolism:Khushi's reflection in the mirror as she is not seeing true picture and perceiving the apparent situation by closed eyes and with open eyes still not getting real meaning of the situation.In other words not getting the signs which are going to reveal the true face of Shyam and sowing her the depth of true of love of Arnav.

Hey guys...Is there any connection between Lakhmiji and Lakshminagar 😆😉 After all she is wearing clothes like Chamkili...ahhh Khushi indeed is a goatwa and everyone just ready to get the meat from her...

I love this scene as this Speaks volume...because we human beings sometimes remain blind with lurking deceit right under our nose regardless of Harward brain or dumb brain...and its a fact cruel one though...

Episode-51

La and Mami's caricature was hilarious, but nonsense in some points. La must be an educated girl, who used to assist Arnav in his office work, but seeing her commonsense just left me flabbergasted. As Arnav was diabetic she didn't add one spoon of sugar in the whole mixture. Tried to cut the hard shell of a coconut with a butter knife! Cum on this are all utter nonsense. I think a kid knows this kind of stuff. I must say it again, how cum she became intelligent ASR's girl friend and work partner! i guess with la they were trying to show that she had no skills to make a perfect bahu, and a setting the stage for khushi to come...honestly they went overboards showing la that clueless she should have had some common sense.

Rahim chacha was guarding Nani. But Nani was smart. She knew something was fishy going on in the kitchen. She tiptoed there to check.I must say Sayani Nani! Arnav's family is just opposite of him. Where Arnav is serious and grumpy and his family is crazy, light hearted and full of life.That's why Khushi blended so well with them. That is why they were perfect for each other...opposites do attract!!! they complimented each other...whatever arnav was lacking khushi made up for it and vice versa

Arnav was still lost in Khushi's thought. He kept standing in front of Buaji's house. When Anajli called him he came back from his reverie.On the way back to home they found Shyam. But as usual Shyam escaped by his instant lies. In the car when Anjali told Arnav to tie the DM's chundri in the front mirror, Arnav went back to Khushi's thought again.He already fall in love with Khushi, that's why she was invading his thoughts every now and then. Arnav is in love but in denial...and she is in his mind 24/7 and it bothers him

Khushi in the cab was sad to go back to Lucknow. She should be happy, coz Lucknow is her own place, where she spent her whole life.But instead, she was sad, I think becoz she didn't want to leave Delhi, where her laad Governor lives. Buaji noticed her sadness. Buaji was harsh and sometimes rude to her, but she actually loved khushi a lot. So she didn't forget to bring Jalebi for her Titlia. As soon as Khushi ate the Jalebi, her brain started working. Khushi ki "dimag ki batti jal gayi".She instantly changed her mind and decided to go back. She was planning to start a sweet shop in happyji's garage! 🤪Khushi and her crazy ideas. But absolutely loved her craziness. khushi is a sanka devi for sure...no wonder bua ji calls her that...i like how no one ever discourages khushi and let's her do what she want...and i agree she does not want to leave delhi because of arnav!!!

Episode 47

Dil (heart) vs. Dimaag (mind) is battle that can become quite intense, especially when the two want completely separate things. But like any other battle, one must emerge a winner Nice one!!!! i agree with this

For Arnav, this battle has been quietly raging inside since Khushi's started to matter, perhaps since the calender shoot, regardless of when it started, it intensifies now as he roots for his dimaag. On one hand Lavanya, the girl that his dimaag picked out is moving in today and on the other hand Kushi, the girl that has found her way into his dil, refuses to move out. now he needs to take control of the outcome. Looks like it will be a looong battle.

This morning when his Di found him, he was overfilling one of his plants with water and his dimaag was nowhere in sight. From the looks of his his face, his dil was doing all of his thinking. Once again unable to find any peace within, in his beloved peaceful garden on this beautiful peaceful morning.

Evidently he still hadn't recovered from what seemed like a nightmare in which Khushi told him she was leaving for good, that he wouldn't have to see her face again and she told him to be happy about it? He jumped up at those very thoughts, but unfortunately it wasn't a nightmare, it was real. Somewhere he knew, a part of him already couldn't live without her...the "dil" part of him. Something tells me he's been up since the moment he jumped up, those thoughts drove him to his garden, which doesn't seem to be helping.

Flashbacks of them together in that storage room, how vulnerable she looked while he held her dupatta and how much pain he was in when she was crying, his undeniable need to make it all ok for her.. but then those awful words that took his sleep away last night:

"Hamaari shakal dekhna nahi chahte na aap? to khush ho jaaiye, kyu ki hum aapki nazron se hamesha ke liey door ja rahe hai. (you don't want to see my face right? then be happy, because i'm leaving for good)"

"yaar, yeh to mujhe kyu farq pad raha ha?" ah so he admits farq pad raha hai and that too this early on "sochna nahi chahta, bhoolna chahta hoon, phir baar baar ussi ka khayal kyu? (don't want to think about her, then why do i keep thinking of her?) [love the honesty in the tone of his voice, he is being honest to himself here, why is this making a difference? why do i keep thinking about her even i if i want to forget? ]

Anajali walks in stopping her brothers unintentional water attack on the poor plant. With concern she asks "kya soch rahe ho (what are you thinking)?"

"kuchh nahi (nothing)i" he answers but the look on his face speaks volumes. He knows he's in deep, he is in love. you could even hear it in the soft tone of his voice.

Anjali, dissatified with his answer, insists on a one-on-one chat."you look anxious, is it because of La?" She got a quick answer back "DI please!" ya Di, as if La could ever bug him this much! She goes on "Are you happy?"

alerted he answers "With who?" almost wishing Khushi's name would come up.

Anjali just wants to know if he is happy with all the decisions he's making regarding La and not doing it just to show off Nani. Arnav is apalled at Di's question "Do you think i would do such a thing just to show Nani?"

[maybe this trait is just in his system and he doesn't even realize that every time Nani challenged his relationship with La, He threatened to leave this house]

Anjali doesn't hesitate to answer his question, "yah, i known you since you were this tiny, even back then your ego used to huge" she gets a look from her brother

but she's not scared, she knows him too well "aise ghoor ghor ke kya dekh rahe ho hame? hum jaante agar tumh koi challenge kare ya tumhari baar na maane, to tumhe bilku pasand nahi. Aur vaise bhi, tum jab ghusee mein hote ho na, tumhara dimaag band ho jaata ha...hamesha ghalat faisla let ho aur baad mein pastaate to (What are you looking at< i know if someone challenges you or doesn't listen, you don't like it, and when angry you brain stops functioning always making the wrong decisions and regretting later)" Anjali knows arnav so well...she is trying to talk some sense into him because he has a track record of doing things when he is angry...she does not want her family to be torn apart over this matter...she is the only person as of now to say this to arnav and not get torn apart!!!!

"enough Di" Arnav irritated " i don't let my ego make all my decisions, this is my life, that means others shouldn't interfere, and if this is the biggest decision of my life i stand by my word that La is absolutely the right girl for me, she has always listened to me, we have similar outlooks on things, i'm not interested in marriage and neither is she and she understands me."

Arnav apoligizes but points out that's the difference between them " i don't make any emotional decisions" [hmmm sure about that one Arnav? what about sending Khushi to the guest house because you were mad she was everywhere in ur life? ]

"Pyaar to dil se hi hota hai...aise naap tol ke nahi hot (you can only love with heart)"

Aanjali goes on to describe Love, unknowingly she describes his dil ka haal (state of his heart )

"ki jab aap usse dekho to uske chehre se nazar hi na hatte (when you see them, you cant remove you gaze from them),"

Arnav thinks of her in red. and him, hypnotized

"agar woh udaas ho to kuch be accha na lage (if they are say then nothing feels nice)"

He thinks of her tears that cause him so much pain

"Usse door jaane ka khayal bhi aapko pareshaan kare"

Khushi's voice echos in his ears "Hemsha ke liye aapse door jaa rahe hai (I"m leaving for good)"

He stops himself afraid his face might give away his little secret. If only she knew the kichdi cooking in that dimaag of his, she would be doing cartwheels.

"Di, i don't want to waste my time talking about this"

Anjali continues to bug him "one day you will like wasting your time"

Yah Di, kyu ki aap ke hisaab se woh ladki aayegi jisse dekh kar mein sab kuch bhool jaaunga, jiske aane ke baad etc etc etc can i go now (yah Di, because according to you, that girl will come, and i'll forget evrything after seeing her etc etc can i go now)? " 🤣

Hold the sarcasm ASR, that's exactly what happened, you forget everything when she's around don't ya?

" Ek aur baat Di, Agar mer zindagi mein aisi ladki kabhi aa bhi gayee na, to mein usse door hi rahunga, kyu ki mein apni zindagi dimaag se jeeta hoon, dil se nahi" hinting that he knows she's here but now he needs to do what he can to flush her our of his system with this

Anjali still won't give up on love for her little brother "woh tum kar nahi paaoge (you won't be able to)"

"kyu (why)?"

"because if you go far from her, tumhari saansen ruk ne lage gi"

"you are unbelievable Di, I mean saansen ruk jaayengi? i gotta go now, varna aap ki baaten sun ke meri saanse ruk jaayengi (you mean i'll stop breathing? gotta go no, or else i'll stop breathing listening to you)"🤣 This is my favorite line of ASR to date...it shows he has a sense of humor and boy did he look aaghidsojfaklfj (so much that i cannot come up with a word and maha sexy will not suffice)

A scene surely to get laughs thanks to ASR's dimaag and witty sense of humor but little does he know, one day he would pour his heart to his Di, and admit that she was right, "woh ladki Khushi hai Di, jiske bina mujhe lagta hai ki meri saansen ruk jaayegi. (Khushi is a girl without whom I feel like i can't breathe" that already happened...home boy is in denial mode

For now, Di has to be patient

Across town, Kushi is lost in her own battle of dil vs. dimaag while she helps Payal with rotis. Interestingly, Khushi, who always thinks with her dil otherwise, uses her "dimaag" when it comes to him. Her heart is sending her brain signals of her connection with him but her brain doesn't want to listen, just like she refused to listen to him,

Instead she used her dimaag to push him away in that storage room too. She first got him to knock down the door giving him false hope of hearing him out, and then she lied to him about going to Lucknow hamesha ke liye...Not to mention provoking him every chance she got!

Now her heart is feeling guilty with some regret thrown in, as she quietly rolls the rotis and thinks back to Arnav asking her "let me finish!" and him handing her the dupatta, her respect.

This is similar to the way she felt after resigning, hurting him, leaving him and in the process hurting herself, only this time she was more aware of what she is doing. She did turn her lie into truth convincing Payal to go back home to Lucknow, anything to get as far away from him and from these slew of unknown feelings.

"KHushi" payal briefly brings her back, Khushi without thinking, as her dil and dimaag are occupied, just blurts out an answer, "Haan, jiji ticket ho gayee hai, aaj din tak hamaare paas pahuch jaayegi, sham ki train hai na? (Yes Jiji, the tix will get here today, the train is in the evening na?)" poor girl does not know why she is sad to leave...it is because of her laad governor

Payal is seriously concerned about her little sister as she asked for "ghee" and nothing about the tickets. She has to find out why she's so upset and the rash decision to go back?

"kya sach mein tum woh hi kar rahi ho, jo tumhe karna chahiye (are you sure you're doing the right thing)?"

"haan jiji (yes jiji)!" khushi fights to bring a smile

"Sach (really)?

Khushi tries to think how she'll escape that question, luckily is saved by the bell as the phone rings. Its Garima, giving Khushi the bad news that their sweet shop was lost because they couldn't get the money in time.

"Kya?" tears appear out of nowhere [the amount of emotion displayed here in that one question by Sanaya is clap-worthy.]

KHushi asures her that they are on their way. If she wasn't sure before,she is now about going back and being there for her Bauji. After she hangs up she tries to be brave while telling Payal, but in the midst, she just needs a hug. In her family everyone looks to her for solutions, but turmoil was already running from her dimaag to her dil, the poor girl could only handle so much.

couldn't help but remember a line from an all time fav song from the movie "Hum hai rahi pyaar ke"

"Ek masoom dil hai, aur sitam hain kitne Is mohabbat ke siva, aur bhi gam hain kitne (one small heart but so many attacks, there is lots of sadness other than this love) "

Still in her sister's embrace, "our sweet shop jiji" she gathers her courage and comes out of the embrace and her dimaag takes over,

"Chalo jiji, we have to go back ASAP, amma was crying, and bauji seemed upset too, he was hiding it from us, you know him right, we have to go and get the money to get the shop back"

"Ab hum kya karenge Khushi? (what are we going to do)" Payal turns to her dependable sister

Khushi concerned, "I don't know, i don't know where we'll get this much money, but i know this much that we won't let anything happen to our shop. Lets go back so we can take care of bauji and i know we'll think of something" Khushi determined as ever but the second Payal says "Chalo chalte hain (lets go)"

Her dil gains control, it hits her this is really happening, she is going back hamesha ke liye, uski nazron se door (going back for good, away from his eyes)

Beautiful scene as Buaji later tries to convince the girls to stay by letting them know she could use the company and with Shyaam's help she can try and get another job instead of going back and doing nothing. "but buaji, i don't feel like staying away from Amma and Bauji anymore" Khushi still hung up on going back, Buaji advises to call Shyaam and see what happens to which she agrees. loved how you described khushi's dil vs dimaag scenes!!!

ASR goes to pick up La, his dimaag wali girl. She is elated, but displays her insecurities when she thinks he's having second thoughts about the live-in.

"i wont do anything to upset you, i promis" She assures him but Arnav tells her to relax "did i say anything to you? then why are you thinking like this on your own?" [Love the way they show how one-way affection can brind out insecurities in girl.] "i've known you for so long but feel like i don't really know you...ASR do you really love me?"

"Lavanya, If i didn't love you " he answers, with the help of his dimaag as he removes her hand on him pretty much detaching her from him "i wouldn't be picking you up to take you home. "

talk about a contradiction, on day we'll know that he never really loved her, but can't blame him for now as he also doesn't know what love is yet.

"Infact we should hurry up" La walks away to grab her bag...thats all it took for his dil to kick in

"Hamme aap ki koi baat nahi sun ni (i don't want to listen to anything you have to say)

"tum aise nahi jaa sakti, Khush, KHUSHI (you can't leave like this Khush, KHUSHI)!" she dared not listen to him, and walked away leaving him with these raw emotions that came rushing back and he snapped.

He walks over to La, grabs her arm , aggressively turns her around

"when i'm talking, don't leave without letting me finish! i was telling you something" his voice wobbles with the hurt.

La a bit taken back, maybe this was a bit much even for ASR, but she apoligizes, "i was just getting my bag, go on what were you saying?"

He comes back from the storage room, just grabs La's bag "lets go"

A marvelous scene that proves, the dimaag can be controlled, but the dil will do as it pleases. The dimaag may win some battles, but the heart always wins the war. That is a lesson, Arnav Singh Raizada will learn on his own, when the time is right, the words will come out "mere khud ka dil, meri nahi sunta (my own heart doesn't listen to me)" 😊 Nice analysis here...arnav is using her to make a point to nani...and when la ignored him...he got so mad he said what he wanted to say to khushi.
