Episode 48: this was supposed to a short one dammit! sorry for the length

Change seems to the theme of this episode, as we move on to the next phase of this story. Khushi and Payal plan to move out of the city, while La moves into the RM. Arnav and Nani go head to head again hoping to change the other. Arnav and Khushi still linger in each other, both fighting to change that 😆 with so many changes, adjustment is inevitable

Shyaam stoops to new levels as he talks to Khushi in front of Anjali letting her believe its his friend's mom (yuk! ), flashes of suspicion on Anjali's face but before she could form her thoughts into anything Shyam turned her attention to the food they where cooking.
I was cringing the whole time, especially when Anjali asks
"aap ammaji se bahut pyaar karte hai na?"
"accha aap ko aisa laga?" an excited shyaam asks "vaise acchi to woh bahut hai" (barf) again red flags go up for Anjali, but Shyam is quick to divert her attention

Khushi was unable to ask Shyam for his help since he hung up, so they prepare to leave for Lakhnow. Khushi doubts her decision to go back and looks for a sign...deep within, she knows and needs no sign but for now
"pata nahi hamn sahi faisla liya hai ki nahi, kaash kahi se hame koi ais ishaara milega jo hamse kahega ki, Khushi tumne bilkul sahi faisla liya ha...vaise aise hame kabhi koi bolta to nahi hai"😆

"khushi tum kuchh bhool to nahi rahi ho (arent you forgetting something Khushi)?" khushi thinks for a sec to no avail "DM ko apne saat nahi le jaana hai kya?"

here comes her famous gasp❤️

her DM symbolized her heart, try as she might, she keep forgetting it, first in his office and now in his city, she always held her close to herself.
As soon as she realizes she was forgetting her DM, she had to pick Her up and hold Her, look at Her...

and the first picture came to mind is how is leapt to save her beloved DM, even though he didn't believe, he cared about her sentiments. Lovely expressions on Khushi's face as rabba ve played briefly

she puts down the Goddess, like she was cutting off a feeling, a certain frustration appeared on her face. As she lost herself in his thought, she didn't realize DMs chunar dropped...a sign perhaps ?

LA makes her official entrance into the RM.

Nani has made up her mind about Ms.Kashyap and does not hide her displeasure at all and needs much convincing before Anjali does the aarti ceremony.

La does try to greet Naniji, but as Naniji has made up her mind and refuses to acknowledge it. La even made pastries for the family, unfortunately it had eggs in it which noone in their family eats. The important thing is she really tried from day 1 to fit in, and other than Naniji, the rest of the family seems to like her.

Mamiji is doing all she can to show support to La, enjoyed her jokes to break the ice when things got tense. Even though its for her own gain, its nice La has someone.

La's first day had truned into somewhat of a disaster and no end in sight yet, as she draws unfriendly looks when she gets cozy with her boy friend,

but draws some real attention when she tells Arnav, she's really hot and needs to take a shower
"tumhara room kaha hai (where is your room)?"
"chalo mein dikhata hoon" Arnav casually tell her thinking it's not big deal he is ready to walk her to his room when Nani's voice echos through the house

"taheriye Mr. Kashyap (Wait)!" she walks over to them intimidating La "Where do you think you're going? I'm asking you Ms. Lavanya Kashyap"
Poor la couldn't find the words, so Arnav spoke for her
"Nani, whatever you want to ask, you can ask later at this time"

Nani inturrupts "i'm not asking, i'm telling you, she will NOT be staying in your room. As far as her staying in this house, was the only choice to save our maan our honor, but without a marriage in one room, i will not have it, this is against our values and beliefs"

During the heated argument between Naniji and Arnav, La accidentaly makes things worse by trying to teach nani the definition of "Living-in, matlab saath saath rahena, aur mein aur Arnav saath saath rahenge"

"hello hi bye by, laagat hai ee miss Kashyap ko lion ke moo mein kho ho khelne ka shokh hai" maami says what everyone is thinking😆

Naani puts her foot down and has La's stuff put in the guest room.

ASR had kept his patience when Naniji refused to acknowledge La's "namaste", when she refused to eat her pastries (before it was revealed it had eggs in it) but now she is imposing her values on him and his girlfriend taking away their freedom to choose to stay together "Now i've had enough!".

His anger rises in his eyes as La leaves, Shyam tries to stop him, "sorry Jijaji" not this time. "Nani, i don't think you needed to further damage the situation, La is a guest in this house, Nani if this continues..."
Nani challenges his statement "to kya chote"

"kya ka jawab aap jaanti hai Nani, I'll leave this house with Lavanya, shaadi aur baak riti riwaazo se mera koi lena dena nahi hai (i have nothing to do with marriage or the other rituals)...and i've had enough, meain ek baat ko baar baar nahi kar sakta" unable to bare the air in the room, he walks out

Arnav has always respected the women in his life, even with all of his difference with Nani, he never disrespected her, and the way he is sticking up for La fighting for her respect in this house is very similar to the way he would do later for Khushi during the "moo dikhayi" when people point fingers at the new bride that eloped with the groom and later in front of Dadiji when he says one of the best lines in the show "Jahan meri patni nahi aa sakti, mujhe nahi lagta wahn mer zarurat hai.." To say he is a fair man is an understatement but this man who knows right from wrong according to him and will not back down to fight for it, even if the fight is against his own grandmother. The makers did an excellent job making this complex character with so many amazing layers come alive and to Barun Sobti, who had breathed the life it so deserved into him.

ASR furiously takes his jacket and tie off as it seems to be a habit of his in his anger. his trusted jijaji comes to have chat with him. ASR know why he's here

"Nahi, mein iss ghar mein ab nahi rahe sakta (no, i can't stay here anymore)"
Shyaam says "shaant ho jaaiye saale sahaab"
"Naani ki baaten suni aapne? kya kisi rishte kis shaadi ke bina koi izat nahi hai? Lavanya koi respect deserve nahi karti? we want to stay together, so what if we don't want to get married, she has to understand this"

Shyam is at this "jijaji best" here, calming Arnav down with tea and tries to draw the bridge between him and Nani regarding marriage "society ke pressure mein aake mein shaadi nahi karna chahta, waise bhi mein shaadi mein vishwaash hi nahi karta (i don't want to marry b/c of society pressures)"

his eyes go to that forbidden place as he says he doesn't believe in marriage, a place where he saw his parents marriage shatter perhaps."my outlook is just as important as Nani's."
Shyam advises him to do as Nani says and see what happens, when she sees you're listening to her, she'll change too right? maybe she'll understand you,

then Shyaam says something very telling of his deceitful nature and exactly what he is doing right now😡😡

" ham apni zindagi mein pehle is samaj gaye the, ki apne aanewale kal ko sawaar na ho, to apne aaj ka liya gaya har kadam soch kar lena chahiye (in my life i learned early on that if you want your tomorrow to be good, every step you take today need to be thought out)" 😡😡

he continues
"Zindagi koi video player to hai nahi ki rewind button dabay aur ghalati sudhaar li (life is not a video player, in which you can rewind and fix mistakes)"

Arnav's heart skips a beat at those words,

his day was filled with big moments, his gf moving in with him and the big fight with Nani, so much happening, but somehow she manages to find him, his mind just needs an excuse. Earlier when Anjali was doing La's aarti,

he was instantly reminded of Khushi's arti at teej

and now this, he stands up, the need to be isolated with her thoughts, not even his trusted jijaji was allowed in (thank God!)

one by one, he thinks of all that he wished to rewind and fix. with each memory and each second, his body becomes more tense, his heart pounds faster

Can you hear him? rehearsing for a play months later?

jab jo kiya, jab jo kaha sab bhool jao bas waapis aa jao,
(whatever bad things done, whatever bad things said, forget all of it, just come back)

Jab jo boora kaha, uska koi matlab nahi,
(whatever bad things i said, it didn't mean anything)

jab jo boora kiya uska koi matlab nahi,
(whatever bad things i did, it didn't mean anything)

"Nafrat hai na?aapko humse, hamaar shakkal se? to khush hojiye, kyu ki hum aapki nazron se hamesha ke liye door jaa rahe hai" her words still haunt him

Sab bhool jao bas waapis aa jao
(forget all of it, just come back)

DROOL CORNER!!!!!!!

❤️ His need to want to go back in time and take away all the pain he imposed on her, he can hardly stand it ❤️

beautiful reading of the man, ami, with his heer ranjha words. 👏 👏

in purple bold hats off to your tribute to a man who knows how to respect women and an actor who can bring him alive.

in green bold 🤢 shyam. stoops to new lows, well said. he found newer and newer ones and for some, yet to be bludgeoned. i want to finish off the job.

red v nice. and la is kinda cute though bimbotic.

that shower talk really got "attention," most apt your choice of word. got mine too and bothered me. was i upset on khushi's behalf or for me? 🤣

khushi's struggle with her feelings, rather nice, na?

@INDI

hi arshi,

edison quote. thanks, teacher ji. enjoyed the try again interpretation of 48. red is great, green bold underlined, you interpret the dropped chunni most interestingly. yeah, that fall of respect.

in pink, awww, without asr dupatta not happy.

purple bold underlined, fab. about dm, such perfect observations. and asr's attitude to marriage. no it was not about being modern, it was rooted in his past. that was why it felt inoffensive always to me. he was not just chucking out ritual and tradition for the heck of it. he had seen how it can become meaningless. and he had grown away from it all. i have actually never had an issue with him having sex with his partners. it was true to who he was. and the beauty of it was, he knew the difference between love and just a physical thing. about sheetal (the most useless, pointless, unformed track of all) , he said he hadn't had sex with her in his own way, but he didn't say he'd never had sex with anyone else. i liked khushi saying, it doesn't matter, whatever happened before they met was of no consequence. showed tremendous growth in khushi.

unfortunately, the creators never grew her character with honesty and consistency. so ultimately she did not come through as wonderfully as she ought to have, and would have if they had moved with integrity from heroriginal character sketch.

Thnx Indi for your insight.I agreed regardless he was modern and whatever his thoughts over marriage were not strong as he saw his parents meaningless marriage and then his Di's until he found LOVE in Khushi and to keep that LOVE he went through with all the rituals just for the sake of Khushi but his POV remained same.So true Sheetal track was the worst one and did not watch at all just Arshi scenes only.
Khushi's character was ruined and consistency in her character was totally ignored and as compared to Barun ,Sanaya just went with the flow without protesting it.Thats why LM,Gul love her the most.

What can I do a teacher remains teacher all the time...😊

@Ami
Hi Arshi!
an awesome take😊
❤️d blue, ❤️❤️❤️ in purple, green made me chuckle.
I like the khushi's shakal doing roound round in front of his his eyes😆 the look on his face UFF!
In red, totally agree, had a convo with Shohara bout this, after watching this epi it's very obvious about the nature of their intimacy, but i was doubting a bit before b/c during sheetal track he pretty much tells Khushi that he was never with anyone like that...they did change it...

If he was treating gals with this kind of respect then why my poor Khushi was always under attack dear .

I think when it came to khushi its whole new ball game wit him. with her it was beyond "respect" She always managed to touch a part of him than noone could get to and at this stage which drove him nuts, he tried multiple time to talk to her with no answer, so now he will hold that against her and the friction will only grow...so imo he had his reasons for acting like that with her, she bought out so much in him that he pushed down. but when he finally accepted his feeling towards her, he made sure to apologize.

Thnx Ami for such depth analysis .In red yes as I am watching this over it is evident he had physical intimacy with others but surely knew and grew the feeling of LOVE besides his big egoistic Wall.As in blue yes Khushi was the only one who broke that wall and entered in his core which made him vulnerable in the beginning and then mad about her which grew anger as he does not want to as "mein aise kaise hone de sakta hoon" during Diwali and then after knowing her engagement totally devastated as he was at the edge of loosing her and go on until he apologized and accepted his feelings for her.

a play of life i guess, sometimes our worst enemies bring us the richest gifts. when shyam came to give advice to his saale saab he had no idea what he'd actually end up doing. at the start of episode he'd played a really low game with his trusting, loving wife. pretended the girl for whom an incorrect emotion was cultivating in him, was actually someone's mother. and continued to smile with an undertone of desire at the thought of khushi. felt illicit, was so too.

Indi, awesome line. true to the core. So, beware of anyone who is extra sweet 😡 But I couldn't make myself hate shyamwa at this point. His amazing attitude, solving the pbms, being a mediator and pacifying everyone made me too delusional. Am I an 'Anjali'?

when lavanya was brought home by asr, all would have gone well, but again nani couldn't reconcile herself to this whole notion. especially seeing lavanya in her revealing clothes and hearing her even more bare all words. she knew nothing about things that were important to naniji and her family. arati was alien, eggs entered a vegetarian household, then the sitting close to her chhote, asking him to show her his bathroom so she could go for a shower, and at naniji's objection to her staying in asr's room, la's suicidal explanation about the meaning of living in.

"..even more bare all words.." 🤣I just loved la with her 'true to herself' attitude, 'It is my life, my choice..I haven't killed anyone' outlook towards life. Cannot believe that she didn't know arati and some basic hindu rituals though !!!
utterly enraged, the matriarch ordered the staff to show la to the guest room. irked by the way his girlfriend had just been spoken to, her grandson seethed and threatened to leave home... with lavanya... if this behaviour continued.

keeping in mind the sentiments of most viewers and the demands of story, writers didn't take it all the way to asr insisting, la will stay in his room and nowhere else. months later, his defence of khushi before a judgmental, hard hearted dadi will have a similar strain but a million times enhanced. where my wife is not welcome, there's no place for me. however at this point, he is committed to a partner, but not head over heels in love with her. his sense of self is not tied to this person, he wants la to be treated with courtesy and not be insulted just because she has a different point of view on marriage and other traditional things. plus, she is a guest in their home, as he points out to nani.

I wonder whether ASR at any time loved la like a lover would ? I think he didn't have any other feelings except that of a friendship with la. Though their relationship might have become more than friendship wrt some intimacy. As you said when he commits ASR sticks to it. So, when dating la, he was with her and no one else..

so he let it pass after a seriously angry retort, choosing to stalk off to his room instead; and take off his jacket swiftly, in characteristic asr angry mode. how wonderfully barun created this man with gestures clearly visible, and many tiny details you'd miss but they'd make asr more and more real: the way he'd stare with unblinking gaze at the computer, utterly absorbed, the way he'd walk when angry, the sudden glint in the eye, the mask like expression in the initial days, eyes different only when looking at khushi. how effective he was and what the reach of this level of performance was got even clearer to me this afternoon.

👏👏 Barun understood ASR beyond the scope of the writing. I really feel, he made ASR understood by the audience .. his innermost feelings ..

a friend of mine was in cambodia recently, and the manicurist at the parlour told her she was very fond of watching an indian soap. really? which one? she couldn't say the name since it was in cambodian, but she said, you know it has that boy who's always angry. the girl doesn't know hindi. she watches a dubbed version, so she doesn't even hear barun sobti's voice. yet, she loves that angry fellow.

aawwweee..👏

back to shyam manohar jha. he was instrumental in crafting the moment that made the episode for me. while warming to his theme of how to handle opposition and manipulate people to achieve one's own end, he told asr:
"saale sab yaad rakhiye... kaman se nikla hua teer, aur zaban se nikla hua shabd kabhi wapis nahin liya ja sakta..."

remember, saale saab, the arrow that's left the bow, and the word that's left the tongue can never be taken back...

asr's attention was arrested. shyam went on,

"aur zindagi koi video player toh hai nahin ki rewind button dabaye aur galti sudhaar li."

and life isn't a video player that you'd press the rewind button, and correct your mistake.

AWESOME dialogues indi.. if i were in a indian movie hall. I would have felt like standing up and clapping & whistling. What writing ! Kyo aise writing wapas nahi dikh rahe hai ?
galati. sahi galat. main sahi hoon. asr's eyes changed tone, he got up slowly from his bed, disengaged in a moment from all around, deep in his fortress, he stood staring at nothing, expression deepening in his eyes, he almost braced himself for what was coming...

and a hand reached a pearl dori on a vulnerable back and snapped it ruthlessly.

a terrified pair of eyes looked at him, tears rolling down tender cheek.

he let go of a hand, and she fell backward, shock seizing her expression... down onto the boxes below.

he pushed her against a drum, holding her wrists tightly that storm tossed night, her eyes welled up, he's cut her wrist, blood oozed out.

he remembered everything he'd done that was galat, not right, toward her. and now she was going away, there she stood telling him to be happy, never again would he see her face. going to lucknow hamesha ke liye.

i realised he did sorely regret these actions of his. and it was this early in the story, not months later. in fact, he was not the sort of man to treat a woman in such a way. yet, with her he seemed to just overstep the limit, he had no idea why. he'd asked himself in the rain the night he saved her from an oncoming car, why is it that for the first time i feel what i'm doing is not right? but then he'd averred, no... main sahi hoon. arnav singh raizada ko kissi ladki se koi faraq nahin padta.
ASR ---> ⭐️ Indi ---> 👏

it was important for asr's own self image to be sahi. but this internal acknowledgment of his being wrong had more to do with her than his idea of himself. he didn't want to be like that with her, he wished perhaps there were indeed a rewind button. he knew there wasn't.

and she was going away. how he regretted it. she, about whom he couldn't stop thinking, just now when he entered with lavanya and di did arati, his mind flew to khushi, there she was doing arati during teej, and now...

How his mind and heart were with her. .. How she was always in his thoughts... how much she made him disturbed .. how he wanted to erase her from his memory.. how he tried to make her leave him alone without this azeeb sa feelings... uska kudh ka man nahi maan raha hai, kya kardhiya khushi thune !!

he stood their motionless, taut, his fists closed tightly...
a swallow as though moved beyond a point, a moistness in his eyes... camera moved in, shallow erratic breathing. saansey hi ruk jayegi.

stunning minutes of emotion, recognition of error, and immersing in a feeling
.

Mere saanse rukh jarahe hai... indi... ithna sunder math liko !
if this was the end, at the beginning, another meaningful wordless scene. one with khushi. this time devi maiya played the move herself. payal asked khushi if she'd forgotten to take something? wasn't she bringing dm along? khushi actually had forgotten to put her in her bag. so hassled she was after throwing that made up on the spot, going to lucknow story at him. now it was a reality, but she wasn't sure of her decision.

she sat on the bed, dejected, talking nonstop.
"jiji, pata nahin humne sahi faisla liya hai ki nahin. kash kahin se hume aisa ishara milega jo kahega ki khushi tumne bilkul sahi faisla liya hai."

jiji, don't know if i took the right decision. if only a sign would come from somewhere saying, khushi you've taken absolutely the right decision.
How she wished Payal insisted on staying back with buaji... how she wished buaji scolded her and forced her to cancel the ticket... she needed someone to say no.. we are not leaving ... she was as stubborn as ASR..

sahi faisla... right decision. what's galat, what's sahi. some day, they will cross these limits and realise some things are beyond all that.

not that such signs were given to her usually, she muttered. charming quintessential khushi by sanaya. one part of her all nutty and innocent girl, the other a woman who feels the unease within, a call of someone in her. was going away the right thing to do?

then realising her folly, she jumped up and picked dm up with both hands, full of apology. the goddess's chunari fell off, was this a symbol of uncovering of a truth? a revelation?

and khsuhi saw him leaping to catch and save dm in that store room, the two of them falling, him upon her, their eyes meet, and hold. rabba vey swirled in.

khushi put dm down on the desk. unbearable pain. khushi is silent.

a few other thoughts.

i always felt a funny sort of tenderness toward la. despite her seeming hardness, and shallow demeanour, she was a girl with many possibilities. and she was independent. willing to take risks. capable of true love. even at this moment her love for asr was genuine. and she was smart enough to sense what asr felt for her was nowhere near what she felt for him. but she who'd eat eggs which she was allergic to because he liked eggs, would let her ego take a back seat just to be close to him. how touching that moment when she said in the earlier episode: i know what you're going to tell me, the plan to move in with you is off. she always feared this was not going to work out. sixth sense of a canny girl? and no matter how harsh he was, no complaints. she just needed him more than he needed her. that's how relationships sadly often are, aren't they? the writers seemed to forget she was allergic to eggs... or maybe she made that cake specially for him.

an episode rich in expressions and interaction between family members, its power outlay and the games within that.

mamaji: bhai, kaa khichadi pakaa rahe ho aap dono.
ah, sign of things to come, mamaji was an endearing character, so much potential. but the khichadi that the ph, channel, and creatives pakaaoed was too strong for his tastes i guess.

shyam: waise achhi toh woh bahut hain...
but you are bure, bahut bure.

la: tumhara room kahan hai.
asr: main dikhata hoon.

crisp language, i like. smooth voice, hmmm. and if anyone had any doubts as to their level of sexual intimacy, those seven words say it all.

yes, our writers subtle way of showing some facts.. not wanting to upset some section of society.. aakhir rozi roti ka sawaal hai :) That is the same way they left the actual consumation scene for the viewers to decipher.

akash: ma, please!

so sweet our akash was, again why did they go and make such a khuchadi of his character.

I feel the original writers were never present later. I cannot believe the current writers can go so beserk later on.

asr: shadi aur baki riti riwazon se mera koi lena dena nahin hai. and i've had enough.
aw, i love the angry man, i've had enough of everyone badgering him. what's more, i have no issues with him wanting to live life his way.

naniji: theek hai hum ek mahina ki maholat dete hain...
nice condition, writers making way for khushi to come back.

mamiji: half people wahan gayen, half people eehan gaye, ab hum kahan jai, hello hi bye bye.
just one of the many gems from the lady this episode. like pearls on khushi's dori, mamiji's utterances fall one by one, the sound echoing long after the words are gone.

loved the episode and your take indi.

a friend of mine was in cambodia recently, and the manicurist at the parlour told her she was very fond of watching an indian soap. really? which one? she couldn't say the name since it was in cambodian, but she said, you know it has that boy who's always angry. the girl doesn't know hindi. she watches a dubbed version, so she doesn't even hear barun sobti's voice. yet, she loves that angry fellow.

back to shyam manohar jha. he was instrumental in crafting the moment that made the episode for me. while warming to his theme of how to handle opposition and manipulate people to achieve one's own end, he told asr:
"saale sab yaad rakhiye... kaman se nikla hua teer, aur zaban se nikla hua shabd kabhi wapis nahin liya ja sakta..."

remember, saale saab, the arrow that's left the bow, and the word that's left the tongue can never be taken back...

asr's attention was arrested. shyam went on,

"aur zindagi koi video player toh hai nahin ki rewind button dabaye aur galti sudhaar li."

and life isn't a video player that you'd press the rewind button, and correct your mistake.

galati. sahi galat. main sahi hoon. asr's eyes changed tone, he got up slowly from his bed, disengaged in a moment from all around, deep in his fortress, he stood staring at nothing, expression deepening in his eyes, he almost braced himself for what was coming...

and a hand reached a pearl dori on a vulnerable back and snapped it ruthlessly.

a terrified pair of eyes looked at him, tears rolling down tender cheek.

he let go of a hand, and she fell backward, shock seizing her expression... down onto the boxes below.

he pushed her against a drum, holding her wrists tightly that storm tossed night, her eyes welled up, he's cut her wrist, blood oozed out.

he remembered everything he'd done that was galat, not right, toward her. and now she was going away, there she stood telling him to be happy, never again would he see her face. going to lucknow hamesha ke liye.

i realised he did sorely regret these actions of his. and it was this early in the story, not months later. in fact, he was not the sort of man to treat a woman in such a way. yet, with her he seemed to just overstep the limit, he had no idea why. he'd asked himself in the rain the night he saved her from an oncoming car, why is it that for the first time i feel what i'm doing is not right? but then he'd averred, no... main sahi hoon. arnav singh raizada ko kissi ladki se koi faraq nahin padta.

it was important for asr's own self image to be sahi. but this internal acknowledgment of his being wrong had more to do with her than his idea of himself. he didn't want to be like that with her, he wished perhaps there were indeed a rewind button. he knew there wasn't.

and she was going away. how he regretted it. she, about whom he couldn't stop thinking, just now when he entered with lavanya and di did arati, his mind flew to khushi, there she was doing arati during teej, and now...

he stood their motionless, taut, his fists closed tightly...
a swallow as though moved beyond a point, a moistness in his eyes... camera moved in, shallow erratic breathing. saansey hi ruk jayegi.

stunning minutes of emotion, recognition of error, and immersing in a feeling.

if this was the end, at the beginning, another meaningful wordless scene. one with khushi. this time devi maiya played the move herself. payal asked khushi if she'd forgotten to take something? wasn't she bringing dm along? khushi actually had forgotten to put her in her bag. so hassled she was after throwing that made up on the spot, going to lucknow story at him. now it was a reality, but she wasn't sure of her decision.

she sat on the bed, dejected, talking nonstop.
"jiji, pata nahin humne sahi faisla liya hai ki nahin. kash kahin se hume aisa ishara milega jo kahega ki khushi tumne bilkul sahi faisla liya hai."

jiji, don't know if i took the right decision. if only a sign would come from somewhere saying, khushi you've taken absolutely the right decision.

sahi faisla... right decision. what's galat, what's sahi. some day, they will cross these limits and realise some things are beyond all that.

not that such signs were given to her usually, she muttered. charming quintessential khushi by sanaya. one part of her all nutty and innocent girl, the other a woman who feels the unease within, a call of someone in her. was going away the right thing to do?

then realising her folly, she jumped up and picked dm up with both hands, full of apology. the goddess's chunari fell off, was this a symbol of uncovering of a truth? a revelation?

and khsuhi saw him leaping to catch and save dm in that store room, the two of them falling, him upon her, their eyes meet, and hold. rabba vey swirled in.

khushi put dm down on the desk. unbearable pain. khushi is silent.

a few other thoughts.

i always felt a funny sort of tenderness toward la. despite her seeming hardness, and shallow demeanour, she was a girl with many possibilities. and she was independent. willing to take risks. capable of true love. even at this moment her love for asr was genuine. and she was smart enough to sense what asr felt for her was nowhere near what she felt for him. but she who'd eat eggs which she was allergic to because he liked eggs, would let her ego take a back seat just to be close to him. how touching that moment when she said in the earlier episode: i know what you're going to tell me, the plan to move in with you is off. she always feared this was not going to work out. sixth sense of a canny girl? and no matter how harsh he was, no complaints. she just needed him more than he needed her. that's how relationships sadly often are, aren't they? the writers seemed to forget she was allergic to eggs... or maybe she made that cake specially for him.

an episode rich in expressions and interaction between family members, its power outlay and the games within that.

mamaji: bhai, kaa khichadi pakaa rahe ho aap dono.
ah, sign of things to come, mamaji was an endearing character, so much potential. but the khichadi that the ph, channel, and creatives pakaaoed was too strong for his tastes i guess.

shyam: waise achhi toh woh bahut hain...
but you are bure, bahut bure.

la: tumhara room kahan hai.
asr: main dikhata hoon.

crisp language, i like. smooth voice, hmmm. and if anyone had any doubts as to their level of sexual intimacy, those seven words say it all.

akash: ma, please!

so sweet our akash was, again why did they go and make such a khuchadi of his character.

asr: shadi aur baki riti riwazon se mera koi lena dena nahin hai. and i've had enough.
aw, i love the angry man, i've had enough of everyone badgering him. what's more, i have no issues with him wanting to live life his way.

naniji: theek hai hum ek mahina ki maholat dete hain...
nice condition, writers making way for khushi to come back.

mamiji: half people wahan gayen, half people eehan gaye, ab hum kahan jai, hello hi bye bye.
just one of the many gems from the lady this episode. like pearls on khushi's dori, mamiji's utterances fall one by one, the sound echoing long after the words are gone.

Hey Indi way to go. Red was HOT, purple was brilliant, Blue is pure Fact undeniable.Yellow yes Barun indeed ia man of different talents in this field.I wish him all the very best
No doubt La was very effective character and she did really well bringing these two close but I felt for her always as her love was one sided. She tried all the very end though but still empty handed.
In black bold underlined That was the magic of IPK but PH and channel did not get it...I just want to go and shake these ppl until they get my point.Uhhh...
Simple black underlined yes they changed it because of viewers and the channel.Sigh...But Barun still kept his edge though...Green was funny😆

Kashyap (Wait)!" she walks over to them intimidating La"Where do you think you're going?

Hey Ami👏👏👏
Loved in red❤️.Blue was awesome and purple was brilliant👍🏼.Last yellow awww and yes wants to turn the clock to get her back. You brought Heer Ranjha track here that was brilliant.Green was funny.Jijaji uhhh.He is creep.La's entry means Khushi's entry."Sabr ka phul meeta hota hai"😉
In blue underlined yes Arnav was very respectful towards all women.Even with Khushi he never crossed any line and even after marriage he respected her wishes very well.
