I have to say I agree with the notion that Barun had it in him to rule the telly world for years to come. The recent SPL event shows that TV shows also give people super stardom, if the show is exceptional enough, which IPK was.
I have no problem with him leaving though, he has every right to do what he feels is best for him. I still maintain that this mess has hurt his image and it will take time for him to recover from this IMO. I'm not sure what people are saying around the industry about him leaving and the fiasco that followed, but I can be sure many are on the same boat as us...thinking "what the"
I can only hope that his future projects make this all worthwhile, if his BW ambitions were truly the reason for him leaving IPK. Only time will tell us that, but all I can say is I won't be surprised if we hear movie announcements soon.
Its also about time people let go of the idea that he did not want to leave the show. He wanted to go, whether for personal or professional reasons, time will tell us. But there was no greater conspiracy at play here...people from all parties made choices...the PH did, he did, the channel did. There was no push come to shove type business going on. Hopefully people can understand that now.
Anyhow, loved reading your post.
