Thanks Priya once again for a very objective post to bring some sense to this forum which has become worse than a 3 ring circus :(
I understand due to the unusual way this serial came to an abrupt & unfortunate end, tempers are high everywhere but really wish people would show some restraint while voicing their opinions. I am so glad you opened up a fresh thread, coz I couldn't comment on your earlier thread this morning and was really disappointed to find it closed down later on...
I know that all members of this forum are upset for some reason or the other, but really we should be united in our love for this show. None of us wanted this show to shut down anytime in the near future, for goodness' sake hit shows like IPK run for many, many years, so 1.5 years is hardly anything.
The loss is entirely ours though, the cast & crew will move on to their new ventures, we may get to see the cast members separately or together again in some other show, but we will never get our ArHi back, coz there never will be an Arnav Singh Raizada, nor a Khushi Kumari Gupta ever again on our screen. There won't be Anjali, mamiji, naniji, NK, Akash, or Payal to watch again. We may never see the magic of IPK recreated again, but hoping we can though...
Worse being a SaRun fan it really hurt to see Sanaya weeping so much, along with the rest of the cast & crew. I have always maintained that I loved each & every member of the cast right down to Lakshmi ji of this show very, very much. So yeah team IPKKND will be missed very much... 🤗
There were only a few threads that I used to follow religiously on the forum, your Crooners, being one of them, although, I was a silent reader most of the time. I couldn't wait to read your analysis after every episode, will sorely miss those days.
During these past harrowing 2 -3 weeks your posts & a few others were the only thing that kept my spirits high. When there was so much pessimism all around your steadfast belief in the cause gave me the boost to fight for justice. We may not have gotten the extension of the show with ArHi, but at least we were able to immortalize their love story forever.
Once again thanking you from the bottom of my heart for the death scene alert, so that we could collectively take action to remove it from the show. I am glad we achieved our partial goal, but sadly could not save this show entirely... Much as I would like to take credit for making SP end this show w/o Barun, I can't do that. Common, even we are not that powerful and don't have the kind of clout with the powers that be at SP 😆 It was purely a strategic business decision by the channel, & not them bending to our wishes by any yardstick. Even after making the PH remove the death scene, SP still got back at us by airing the infamous disclaimer. Hopefully, with the amount of flak they received about it, they will think again before throwing another actor let alone an actor so popular under the bus again...
Now that the show is closing down for good will have to think of ways to detox from this drug that is IPK now. 😆 Will miss the serious & not so serious discussions after every episode, will miss the many friends that I made on this forum above all will miss the show very much. Hope to come across you & other friends on the forum somewhere, sometime soon, eagerly awaiting your last Crooner for later today. Bye for now. 🤗
