Iss Pyaar ko Kya Naam Doon -- the last few days of the online vs offline frenzy can be captured aptly only by the Title of the show !!! Have been two minds in making the post -- but doing these for all the friends who have been asking to say as the camps have been at wars...and at the state of the Forum...I have loved this Forum second to the show -- my friends used to laugh at me,coz even in the times of negativity -- I used to read each post -- I know most of the members who have been here for long -- and have made wonderful friends, some who'll last a lifetime...some whom I'll always remember...this journey of IPK got more exciting because of the "fun,laughter,madeness" at the Forum -- we fight amongst ourselves, but we fought with the world as a whole for what we all loved -- no one wanted the show to get closed -- most of us have shed tears and "isolations" -- today's SBS segments I am not sure of anyone but made me cry -- for loosing something which we all wanted to hold onto -- each one dealt it their way , so no grudges !!!

Some of us have been in IPK forum too long, before the traffic started, during the golden days of calmness and fun -- since then things have changed --- with the words "bashers" and "phann gurls" infiltrating this space -- its totally fine to have different likings and point of views - but there should at the same time be a balance and "respect" for each others' opinion -- that gives a healthy platform to discuss -- since few months IPK forum had lost it -- most of the older memebers hence moved on...
Today as we come so close to the end of the Journey -- enough has been said, done and written -- wont touch them -- people who followed and cared to know would have understood -- and people who chose to see the other side , thats again that person's opinion and totally understand that -- none of us wanted the show to close -- but then most of us didnt want another actor to replace ASR or the character's death (the only time I gave a spoilor to the forum in real sense đ) ...I never defend or explain myself (too stubborn or rebellious) but just for few ppl who wanted to know -- https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/iss-pyaar-ko-kya-naam-doon/3306448/uncovering-truths-floating-news-logic-4 clearly states DO NOT ASK for the show to be closed -- that was exactly what the main design was -- but sadly, fans (we) fell in that trap -- some people went overboard and actually gifted what was always the plan !!!!
Anyways,its all over now -- Industry is a very strange place ,as most of you all are outsiders and some unaware -- people move on fast here -- no one waits -- good work,good times are always cherished , credited -- but its a very practical world out there -- "bashing" anyone's professional choices wont make any difference -- rather respect each actor for what they gifted you with this show - beyond that no one is accountable !!
1) Don't be on the Guilt trip of taking away jobs of so many people -- A Corporate GEC has taken the decision - and its never done in a day or because of some "phann gurl's frantic phone calls -- the news was not out even to the TRP audience -- so if the show has closed down - its for the simple reason -- they knew the leads' grasp over the audience that made this show click -- for weeks they tried to sort it out with the PH -- the 3 parties couldnt come to an amicable solution -- hence the decision !!!
2) The actor has no movie in hand -- but now when he is off board -- as is the norms in this industry -- he would be getting lots of offers as he is the "toast of the town" now -- he will soon take up any thing that works feasible (it might be another TV show !!!) --- but that is no way related to the DEBACLE of IPK -- the issue there was completely different --- and the actor had given 2 months 's notice -- so if the Channel and PH were seriously in the plans of carrying the show ahead -- they should have worked the tracks accordingly to phase him out and introduce a new character - not a last week touch up shoots to make up when the news breaks out and uproar starts, In simple words -- there was NO PLANNING !!! And sadly for the Channel, they fell big time in studying their "Target Audience" and "Market nature" -- so revenue hit is their own doing !!!
3) BS IS NOT BLACKLISTED -- get that in bold and clear.. there wont be a US Trip in the plans by the channel if that was the case..also its a bigger business out there for the channel -- to let go of Sobti - if you cant get to the bottom of the mechanisms, atleast dont bash anyone with half-baked infos.
Rest , let the blame games be -- Sanaya didnt intend to sound otherwise with that comment -- they all are also going through further more emotions than people here -- BS's friends have stuck by him - the cast and crew -- if something else was the case -- none of them would have been vocal in their support -- better not to be judgemental when the main "person" is choosing to maintain his silence -- when he breaks it -- then form the "Conclusions" !!!
IPK -- has been the most beautiful journey with a fictional show I have had....same with this Forum -- I dont mind anyone labelling me as a BS fan -- I started watching the show for Sanaya -- love both of them equally -- landed on the Forums coz I wanted to know more about the show and the leads/characters -- have maintained that in my entire jounery here !!!
I am extremely emotional -- but I base my opinions on Facts - I can never "speculate" !!!
(would love if the Forum settles down calmer and "celebrate" the last episode of the show ,each member who is a part here loves in their own way -- give a fitting farewell to the show that brought all of us here together -- after that we anyways move on with heavy hearts -- some to another show, some to the "noise" of the Real world -- where we wont hear the Rabba Ves anymore...but just remember the "magic" that touched all of us for 1.5 years !!!)
