When you said "How convenient, edit the initial post asking for tips to save the show after petitioning for it to be closed." it sounded like you were blaming Rima and not fans.
So we as fans are putting people out of their jobs because we no longer wanted to watch a show which could have potentially turned a beautiful love story into "The bold and the beautiful"
When Star One closed down all shows had to wrap up quick to accommodate that.
Fans were disappointed and people lost their jobs.
When NDTV Imagine closed down again all shows went off air abruptly.
People lost their jobs.
When channels decide that it is no longer lucrative to run they simply pull the plug.
What are we supposed to do when a show is no longer emotionally lucrative to us?
As viewers of a fictional show we suddenly have to become socialistic here? If we go by this motto then we should sit and watch all shows on TV hence raising trps of all of them so no show goes off air and no one loses jobs because we didn't watch that show.
Charlotte I asked Rima the reason for petitioning for closing the show and then asking for idea to save it.
However I blame collective fans for the closure of the show.
I hope I made myself clear.
If the show was closed on its own, its a different thing. But it got closed due to fan's demands and protests for something as insignificant as an actor quitting. I think you work, if you were to lose your job if a colleague decided to put papers inspite of you working hard how would you feel.
If you dont feel emotionally involved in a show, the simplest thing to do, is to stop watching. But its unfair to decide what to do for others and spoil the fun for them.
There are loads of things in life to protest for , closing a TV show for the resignation of the actor isnt one of them.
