The sole objective of making and running a series is to provide entertainment for the viewers and earn a wonderful lifestyle replete with fame,money and the luxuries you desire... fans wanted their ASR to not be portrayed by anyone else than the man who did it diligently for the last one and half years... You understood that the love story of Arnav and Khushi needs to stay with the actors who portrayed them.. glad that you guys got that one right at least...
But why still the desire to use ASR / Barun's charisma as a crutch to ride the rough trough your series will go through once he is no longer part of the IPK saga?
Why do you have to take the easy route of death and then bombard us with his Fb's and Khushi's tears to grieve in the "reel" world?
When as makers you decided boldly to harp on the fact that show must go on... a strong story matters more than characters... Then why the need to release the death sequence news with a worried picture of the guy trying to hold on to something in thin air?
If there was cognizance that IPK and ASR are synonymous and that the easiest way to go ahead is to use the character and the actor make the transition for them. Then why refute the fact ?
If your creative churning was to walk under ASR's shadow, for the leading lady to grieve and the new man to repent for coming in between.. why not be upfront about it?Why not openly share that creativity is all about the subsequent polls on your websites where the audience can respond to-should Khushi move ahead in life? etc...
I whole heartedly agree now that the story has truly run it's course. Please feel free to end the series for the sake of the precious viewers for whom you profess to run the show with a crunch in creativity.
As makers and broadcasters(SP & PH) you do not have the confidence nor the will to painstakingly create a new character who can be worthy to stand his own ground like ASR... create a new set.. introduce a bunch of actors who can act well ...work with a new zeal for bringing in a satisfied feel that it's refreshingly different for all the viewers who have decided to stick with you. Their hope that the promise of an interesting upcoming story with twists and turns will indeed be kept is getting ready for an empty ride...
All you want is to take the easy route to ride on the success of ASR as Barun till you can wring it dry to the last drop for your own gains... that is creativity in Indian telly world parlance... thanks for the free tutorial @IPK...
