Can the real star of the show please stand up?

There has been a lot of discussions already but I want to raise the questions again. This is what I have understood from all the interviews.

After Barun Sobti's interview regarding his longish break and the epic Koffee with Gul, half the fans still support him and believe him; half the fans no longer support him because he lost his credibility.

After Sanaya Irani's clear but rather uncharacteristic interview, half the fans are praising her for being honest; half the fans are bashing her for bashing fans.

Barun Sobti lost some fan support and now Sanaya Irani lost some fan support (I am talking about IPK fans in general), because while supporting their bosses, they both somehow ended up hurting fans' sentiments.

But between all these interviews, one person ( attempted to) emerge as clean in front of many fans because she got complete support from her loyal employees. All of them. So now that we know Ms. Khan is officially the soul of the show and we know how awesome she is, she should make a few things clear to us confused, ignorant fans.

Ms. Gul Khan, while your loyal actors are praising you and saving your skin, will you please come out from hiding? Your loyal employees are getting bashed and the loyal fans that made your show an International success are getting hurt.

So what we are being told now is that Barun Sobti is replaceable. The show can go on without him. If it can go on without him now, what made you think otherwise back in February when he wanted to quit? Did you hold him back because you had high trps? Did you hold him back because he helped you get trps? Are you letting him go now because the show is tanking anyway? If Barun was the root cause of all trouble ( As Gul Khan is claiming now), why wasn't it made clear to us at the right time?

Barun Sobti has always been a PR disaster and he does not give the best interviews. Why is it being held against him now?

PH never issued an official statement regarding his actual cause of longish break is still not clear. PH never issued any official statement during his movie leave either.

What's strange is when Sana Khan, lead actress of the PHs other show Arjun decided to opt out because of health problems; Gorky ( Gul's husband) officially announced it on Twitter.

We have been waiting since September for the official statement by the PH regarding Barun's status which was supposed to come 'next week.'

And now, the very articulate Sanaya Irani is facing the wrath for disregarding fans in an attempt to convince people to keep watching.

Can somebody tell me what happened to the livelihood of the crew members of the show Chand Chhupa Badal Mein which was replaced by Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon on 6^th June 2011? We never worried about them. After all we are IPK fans our only concern should be the people associated with this show.

I truly appreciate Sanaya for being concerned about the livelihood of the cast and crew but can someone from the PH tell me when did fans ever worry about the livelihood of the people who work behind the scenes? Is it our responsibility?

In the last 1.5 years, many times we heard the news of SP launching news shows. How many times did we worry that the new show might replace IPK and how many times did we rejoice when we learned that IPK was safe and some other show was going off air? Did we ever stop and think what will happen to the livelihood of the people working on those shows? I don't think so.

Can somebody tell me what the PH was thinking when they posted the open later stating 'the story of IPKKND has run its course'?

What will happen to the livelihood of these people when IPKKND ends (whenever it ends) because it won't be on air forever? I hope Ms. Khan has planned something for these people.

What about me and you, the fans who contributed to the show's success and salaries these people earned? Our views don't matter? Why does SP have a consumer cell?

Isn't it strange that producers Nissar Parvez and Rajesh Chaddha who could attend Star Parivaar Awards with the rest of the team are now nowhere to be seen.

Isn't it strange that the whole responsibility of clearing the air has come down to the leads of the show, where it should have been the 'very responsible and professional' PHs job?

While Barun Sobti is busy disappointing fans by taking a longish break and in the mean time reading three different scripts.

While Sanaya Irani is busy disappointing fans by calling them a bunch of people who have no rights question some people and make demands.

Where are Gul Khan and her Lions? What are they doing for us? Can she tell us why it's our responsibility to think about the 200 crew members?

It all comes down to one thing. Last weekend it was Barun Sobti's turn to face fans. This weekend it's Sanaya Irani's turn to face fans. Just look at the forum. Barun fans and Sanaya fans are fighting and in all these, many people who were fighting for a common cause until yesterday have given up.

Our focus has shifted from demanding for a PH, retaining Barun or closing the show with Arhi.

If you can't beat them, confuse them.

This is what the PH is doing right now.

I do not buy any of what's being said in interviews and coffee sessions.

As much as I love Barun and Sanaya, I firmly believe the interviews were in best interest of the PH and SP and had nothing to do with the actors. They had to do it, because the PH and the channel are still their employers.

This is not about Barun or Sanaya. This is not about Arnav or Khushi. For us it SaRun and Arhi. We would fight no matter who was quitting because we love them both equally.

So if your thoughts are similar to mine.

Get on with your demands.

Tell them to retain Barun Sobti.

If Barun can't stay, we want a happy ending with Arhi ( Barun as Arnav and Sanaya as Khushi).

If the show has to go on after that, start a new story with a generation leap or a fresh story but do not kill Arhi's love story by bringing a new male character for Khushi or by casting another actor as ASR.

Pushing your leads into the arena (whose sole jobs are to act btw), and letting them get punched. Is this your Professionalism?

And instead of coming up and defending them, by making an official statement, you sit back and bask in the glory of your appreciation. Is this your Dignity?

Starting off the show with a flourish, and loosing interest in it the day you thought that "the story has run its course" by introducing crappy storylines and butchering characters. Is this your Commitment?

Coming up with a new show (a so-called new baby), and being so worked up about it that you completely neglect your older and more popular show... so much so that the very purpose of the show stands shaken.
And mind you, this is happening for the second time! Is this your Consistency?

If we fans are wrong, come out in the open yourself and tell us why.
Don't sit back all satisfied just cuz your lead actors consider you to be "the Queen".
Making mistakes is not a crime, running away and hiding from them, certainly is.
Keep up the work guys. We are not gonna loose this!! ⭐️

Really wish people would ignore everything they're throwing at us and keep fighting to save our favourite characters. I'm not gonna give up & hope others don't either.

Bang on. When one of Gul's 'close buddy' indicated about Barun's exit about two months back, the other members of the ph initially weren't aware of it; (surprising eh). That really got me thinking regarding the true picture. Which PH openly claims that the show has run its course, I am not even getting to the way they executed the storyline. Then there are these articles and unrest regarding the future of the show, but apparently they were 'too busy' to give an official statement to clear it. Is that all they can do to loyal viewers who have given them the popularity. At present they are living from interview to interview saving the honour of one putting the others at stake, with no clarity as to the future, confusing the spectators even further.
