I see it this way, if SP made a mistake of asking him to anchor after knowing how uncomfortable he is, Barun is the other 50% blame holder for agreeing to take part in such activities knowing fully well, he doesn't like such activities on stage. He himself said he is not comfortable.

He does it to fulfill his contractual obligations and getting paid for his anchoring duties, and SP gets to showcase him and draw in that audience who obviously are his fans.

I dont see a looser here either. It after all business for both parties although the fact that Sobti would not do a good job should have concerned SP (according to me he didnt do a good job and his akwardness made me akward to watch him on screen but then thats a different issue I suppose)
