But Ricky may be he is getting good offers that's why he wants to leave plus his temperament is more suited to movies since he gets bored easily and there will be more scope for him as films r over in couple of months and u can get to do different roles... I must say I am impressed with his confidence it's not easy to sacrifice a secure present for an unknown and unpredictable tomorrow we have to give credit to him for this.

Also he is doing really well considering he has bagged 3 movies already without his single film being released who knows he might be able to break the jinx for TV actors not being successful in movies.

maybe you are right, even one hit film doesn't mean anything in BW, BW industry functions totally different, one certainly needs a godfather.Hopefully BS has one, otherwise if he is banking on his current popularity then that's not very clever coz public memory is very short lived and out of sight is out of mind ( let's face it it's the truth).

If he is succesfull great if not he will learn a lesson the hard way like many do, but I wish him all the best n realising his dream.

Barun is a very good looking guy...no doubt about that..But he just doesn't match all the heroines..
I for instance didn't like his pairing with the leading lady in his last show..
Even madhura who is on leaner side doesn't suit him..(may be it is because of my partiality towards Sarun😉)

My mom doesn't watch Hindi movies or soaps..But she used to watch Fauji during it's airing period..
She told me that she had noted Shah Rukh during those days..according to her,he had unique mannerisms, excellent screen presence and something about him that makes a viewer watch out for him..I so agree with her..Because of all the filmfare shows aired, the one hosted by Shah Rukh and Saif remains to be the memorable one for me former being the reason..Shah Rukh has a speciality of creating chemistry with every heroine..He looks good with every actress..(kajol is my choice always) ShahRukh is born to be a public figure..I don't find him extra ordinarily handsome or neither do I worship him as a fan..still he manages to attract me..

As for Barun,he still can make it big in bollywood. Who knows may be he is lucky enough for that!!.For that the guy should give up his shyness and develop a bit more confidence and stage presence(I am perfectly happy with his screen presence)..Knowing to dance and do action sequences might be handy too..!!Having a godfather would have been good..like Yash chopra for SRK..But today's bollywood bigshots seem to promote their own kids only..!!

Barun has to test the waters, as far his fame will take him. He has won lots of awards and he cannot remain stagnant. He is keeping the doors of IPKKND open, should his venture is not successful. I think he is taking the right course in his career. Yes, the golden era of IPKKND is cruelly shut down and that is a shame. The magic of Sarun is being forgotten by producers of big film industry, as the focus shifted to Barun. And we viewers are left feeling very confused.

I always appreciate your posts. Rather than juggling between the offscreen happenings and the show u straight away give the facts.
Looking at the developments in last few day its clear that BS wants to completely focus on his movie career. Since he has entered his first film the statments he made gave a clear picture that he had climbed there using the tele ladder which really worked for him.
His absence at award functions showed his disinterest in television for which reason is given that he is Shy..not social etc..
Regarding movies as u mentioned in ur post a godfather is required to sustain for long & become successful one day! Here the case is diffrent as statment by BS himself that the role does not matter whether small or big neither production but script should be good.
From this its clear that he has reached his aim & IPK has been a successful ladder!

You have really beautifully summed up all the facts together ... and really can't agree more to u..each and everything you said is correct...

But I don't know what is his aim...to make hefty bank balance or want to try out different role for his own creative satisfaction...Whatever he does I am jst seeing he is following Rajeev Khandelwal's footsteps... He will take leave and do some movie promotion and some movies.then do some cameos ( like RK did as he returned with Left right Left) then again some hosting shows... He is not a type of person to live in a character for more than I year.as he got bored easily...I seriously think he had a lack of consistency, sustainablity and commitment issue in this whole fiasco...I don't know what exactly happened behind the scenes.but quiting definitely is not solution...

sorry for killing your small bit of hopes... he doesn't seem to be opening the last door of IPK either. It looks like he may be up for an ultimatum with the SP bosses, to continue or not, because of the fan power. SP can't go on lying & dragging the issue, already their reputation has taken a serious hit, now this will make it much worse.
