Good points. Trust me, I went through all possible scenarios before making this post as this is my second only anchor post the entire time I have been on the forum. Those who know me here, know very well I am not biased and rarely ever take sides. As an Engineer, I am wired to look at the data and extrapolate and the conclusion I reach implicates the PH more than the channel or the actor.
PH:
1. Fans have shown a general disregard for the track, yet the PH does nothing about it rather takes it up a notch. One of the writers (although not officially confirmed) posted a rather poignant parting note which alluded to this as well.
2. Comes out on their own forum and publicly admits that they have run out of ideas.
3. Leaks news of BS leaving to an unverified source without sending through official channels.
4. PH wanted to end the show hence we got the hushed remarriage, past and Shyam's ouster. If it was their golden goose, why rush these tracks? Nothing has happened in the show since Shyam was kicked out. They wanted out, Channel said no.
5. PH already has another goose, is it golden or not, I think we all know the answer.

Now here's why I think Channel might be able to do something:
1. They have the most to lose from this situation. They know the show is their cash cow. If they don't clarify things, they are setting themselves up for disaster for UK Trip. People will roast them alive with questions and I don't think SP would want to piss off UK audience, their largest international base, even bigger than US audience.
2. SP has too many shows to worry about. If IPK is their cash cow why would they interfere with the story it if is already making money and not trashing any morals?
3. I would expect as a global channel they have enough sense to know the difference and where to channel their resources and energy. They should be worried about shows that are seriously under-performing.

As for the actor, if he had indeed quit 2 months ago, why would SP ask him to go to UK AND host the diwali event? Both of these events would not be part of his PH contract and SP would have to pay him extra. So unless he got paid separately for these events, it is safe to infer SP signed the actor. If the actor quits the show and is under the contract with SP, what would SP do with him? UK Trip and Diwali events don't happen everyday,so why would the Channel take any risk that puts an actor out on the bench when he already has a job?

If you connect all the dots, you can see who is killing and who is milking. The point isn't to end or continue the show at any cost but to respect the show, characters, actors and the audience. If the show has run its course, don't butcher the love story but end it gracefully.

Awesome post! I hope Star Plus takes notice...if they care enough to block IPK in YT to garner more cable audience in US...they better pay attention to the grievance of their consumer. And a press conference to address the questions and put a stop to these speculations that have been floating now for months, is it too much to ask? They have a UK tour coming up with the main attractions being Barun Sanaya...they better fix this or the tour might face some disgruntled fans.

This offscreen drama that is going on for past few months needs to end or they need to give a respectable ending to this story that we all feel so passionate about. IPK is the story of Arnav and Khushi played by Barun and Sanaya respectively. Without one of them, there's no chemistry, no passion, no intensity that we the viewers relate IPK with. THEY and THEIR story are the USP for the show, that the myopic visioned PH (who seem to be mighty old fashioned when it comes to multitasking or managing multiple projects) seems to be missing or appears to be missing as they have a new 'baby' to nurture.

I am not privy to the behind the scene play but the whole 'mother told us not to talk to strangers' excuse for a major PR faux pas and last week's 'the story has run its course' open letter, to me they are the most ridiculous unprofessional behavior from a PH. They are lucky that they are not in US where, this would have led to some PR and legal woes which would have kept them too occupied to pull another stunt like this(apparently they did the same to their previous show).

I just want a better picture of this mess from any of the concerned parties and if the show has to stop, a fitting closure to the Love story is the only way to go...not another lead.

if u really want to end the show then pls give a happy ending with arshi together or better end the show rite nw...this show is nthng widout arshi n sarun😭

I hope SP takes over the show and retain the major cast and cv members...

I want to know why sp is not taking any action against Gul mata. Things are already blown out of proportion and the main reason is ph let that happen instead of clearing rumours they were the one who leaked all info through a random reporter, otherwise how is it possible that everyone in forum have sources I have never seen any other member posting news about different shows why only 4 lions shows have so many sources 🤔.

Is what happened called professionalism? Are these professionals who produce shows, run a channel and act and direct amongst other things?
Star Plus owes a response to his fans - as ultimately, they are the stakeholder and flag bearer of the show. The production house can sabotage it - it will always be known as a Star Plus show, so to me, they are at fault here and they need to clear the air, without throwing anybody under the bus.
