A very touchy subject. Barun was awarded for playing the character ASR to perfection. Absolutely correct.

So did Sanaya - She did everything what the script demanded and gave us more. She is the heart and soul of IPKKND. What you say is right, WE THE AUDIENCE FAILED AND NOT SANAYA. She did her job sincerely.

As much I am happy 4 Barun Sobti, I feel sad 4 Sanaya Irani. Both r equally talented. I really feel bad coz Sanaya is not evn nominated 4 mst of da awards. Bst actress award is won only by da actresses bt da wick & lamp shows & kekta shows. Barun is winning when audience is voting, Sanaya is nt eevn winning den. Thus it shows audience demselvs lyk stereotyped bahus! Disgusting.

i read posts y did sanaya go to take baruns awards? khud kioun nahi leta is she his servant IMEAN if this tone and these stupid ideas are in the minds of people then i pitty thm

sanaya barun are besties mashallah the world knws its these solo fans who have problem !

Now abt barun winning there is NO OTHER GUY who deserves this award mre thn barun even RAm said it !

and same goes for sanaya

now i take things like this when srk wins we see pple bashing him when amitabh wins pple bash him too so when such biggies r not spared barun is a new guy in this business !

salman dosnt win yet remains in top slot i guess dats the case with sanaya and many political reasons behind ..

anyways for me barun sanaya only means sarun and they are so deserving of every award tht come stheir way

Agree with u... After so much thinking I think it is the role that makes actor bigger. ASR role itself is such a well sketched phenomenonal role that it never happened in tellywood where all the stories revolved around female lead and the male lead is mere a supporting role.But ASR character change the existing concepts... Again Television is perceived by mostly women... So such a character with dynamic and charismatic personality is introduced... so it is natural to be eyecandy... Again Barun Sobti live the character of ASR and there was no denial in it..He made the character more lively...

Coming to Khusi.this character is different frm all the stereotype female lead character...It has naughtiness, cuteness. maturity all in complete package...Here Khusi character is seen both as roudy, noisy naughty as well as cute which cannot be seen in other female lead characters...So it becomes difficult for people to connect with her when they always came to see amature female lead in the past...

It is - why not Sanaya

And the reason is IPK fans are put off by her character. It is IPK fans who are not supporting her.
