I know that almost everything has already been said about the PH's attitude in the past 4-5 days but I just needed to get things off my mind.
I am a silent member, a stalker and never comment except on the FFs that I followed. But the open letter by the good for nothing PH about their precious " babies" on their own forum have incesenced me enough to want to rant. I am livid with them and myself for having loved their baby.
All this time I have heard of channels wanting to shut a show and the PH fighting to save it. This is the first PH that wants to kill their own baby and that too again. And why..because they have a new one now. Fine you want to expand your horizon, start new shows, you can do that..but not at the expense of old one. You don't snatch away food (finance, creatives, technicians, interest) from one baby so that you can feed another. If you don't have the capacity to manage both of them don't plan a new venture. See the first one through its well deserved end and then move on to the next. Don't leave it languishing behind so that people beg you to end it.
And who the hell in their right mind declares on a public forum that they gave draggy episodes that did not even make sense to them and that they have run out of ideas. How is it that 4 lions is the only PH that runs out of ideas a year into their shows when other shows can go on with a decent story line for years together. If you had this problem with the first show, didn't it occur to you to make amends in this matter in your second show, to ensure that you hire creatives that are competent enough to do the job that they are being paid for as long as is required from them.
Does it not pain you to see the extent to which you have ruined a once beautiful show. How you have crushed the promise the show once presented. How much negligence it must have taken to bring it to this pathetic state considering I see first time writers on this forum doing a better job that the so called creatives.
Or is it that it just doesn't matter to you. You got whatever it is that you wanted to extract form your shows and now they can shut down for all you care. From where I see you used your first show as a stepping stone to reach a big channel and used the second one to increase your fame and consolidate your position in television world. Once they served their purpose you no longer care for them.
Not everyone is lucky to have such awesome actors to work with and such massive fan following that are ready to give you innumerable chances to redeem yourself run out of ideas because they love your baby. And how do you reward them..by mocking them with "the story has run its course..we will continue because you want us too but provide us with ideas". Seriously, have you all never heard of PR. Time and again I see blunders on your part when dealing with fans. If you don't know how to deal with feedback, then its better to shut down communication through social media. Trust me you will be doing yourself a very very big favor by antagonizing lesser people because the rate at which you are annoying people, I guess you would be left with very few viewers by the time you are done with your new baby.
